Casa Sotgiu felt just like home! We had a very cozy stay and Cristina and the rest of the staff were amazing. This place was very close to many monumental places such as Vatican and Piazza del Popolo as well as close to a great shopping street. Rome was great, but coming home to Casa Sotgiu after the long days made it so much cozier. Thank you and I hope to be back soon! 😊 PS. Loved the art in our room Arturo!

Sometimes the breakfast area was full and we therefore had to wait a bit (like 5-10 min) for some people to be done. This is not a bad thing per se, but it’s good to take into account when planning your morning. The staff handled it very well and we did not mind the wait.😊

The staff was really friendly and nice, they gave us tips about the transportation and where to go; our room was ready when we arrived and didn't have to wait. The room was spacious, perfect for a couple. The breakfast was really good, with different variety of pastries each morning. As for the location, it was 20 minutes by foot from the Vatican and the Castel St. Angelo, 30 minutes by foot from Pantheon & Fontana Di Trevi. But there was Metro Station (Lepanto) and Bus Stations (Giulio Cesare/Lepanto or Giulio Cesare/Ezio) just a few meters away and you go everywhere you wanted. We preffered the bus as you could see the city.

Very nice room with great hosts. Good breakfast, easy walk to the metro. Surprisingly for Rome we were able to sleep with the door to the balcony open and no external noise. Supermarket just around the corner, easy walk to plenty of restaurants in Flaminio and to Piazza del Popolo and the Borghese gardens.

The heating/cooling vent seemed to be constantly blowing, despite being turned off at our control. So we slept with the balcony door open.

The location was close walking distance and one train from the train station. The bathroom was recently updated. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel was just on the other side of the river from many great attractions.

The breakfast didn't start until 8:30. We left early on somedays, so weren't able to eat breakfast before leaving.

Casa Sotgiu in Rome is in a fantastic location, with a lively atmosphere and friendly staff. They serve breakfast at a shared table in a cozy library, keep everything super clean, and make you feel right at home. It's the perfect spot for a memorable stay in Rome.

Nothing, all was perfect.

We stayed here for 2 nights and looked for a cozy bed and breakfast to see all the sights Rome has to offer. It was a great choice, location was superb, near all the most famous tourist attractions and still very calm and peaceful to have a great night sleep. It's definitely a good choice for couples.

There's always a place for improvement, and if all the guests want to have a breakfast at the same time it might lead to you skipping it or waiting for others to finish until you can have one. It's only because there is not enough space for all the guests to enjoy it. But it's just a small detail and you can always go and have a breakfast somewhere else or talk about it with your lovely hostess.

Room and bathroom were very spacious and clean. Very comfortable stay and the hosts were friendly.

The bedding wasn't warm enough, we were provided thicker blankets when we asked housekeeping the next day

The best part of the property was the location!! It must be one of the best parts of Roma! So peaceful and beautiful around but at the same time do close to all the good restaurants, cafe’s and shops. The property was clean and tidy. The owner was wonderful and helpful.

The room was a bit compact and had no view.

Great location, within walking distance of all the major sight seeing attractions, however still quiet and slightly set back from the hustle and bustle of the main town.

Breakfast could have been better, same thing every day. Also, no hot water on one of the days and no staff there to tell.

Comfortable rooms with small balcony for fresh air. Lovely breakfast set up each morning. The lounge area was great, as we were travelling with friends and we were able to meet up at the end of the day in the lounge. Location wasn't too bad, about 3kms walk each day to the centre of Rome.
