The location is excellent! We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go in Rome without once having to take a taxi or public transport (except to and from the airport). There are small shops close by as well as restaurants. We had an apartment for 6 people and a separate room for 2. The apartment was absolutely fantastic. Big, fully equipped, comfortable, clean, two bathrooms with showers. The room was a good hotel room but next time we'd ask for a room with a shower as the bath wasn't very practical to take showers in. The staff were very friendly and helpful when asked about local dining options and when we needed to book a taxi from and to the airport.

There is a big road between the property and the river which is very noisy if you open the windows on that side. It didn't bother us when the windows were closed but we live in a town and are used to some background noise. It may bother some people who are very sensitive to noise.

Reception and cleaning staff were excellent. Clear and quick communication via WhatsApp. They helped us to arrange a taxi to the airport which was very helpful and had great tips about what to do while we were in Rome. Apartment was beautiful and modern. Bedrooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. We also appreciated that they provided large bottles of water and replenished as needed while we were there. Location is walking distance to most popular tourist sites.

Apartment is off a major road so can be a little noisy. Earplugs were provided, however. We had a leak in one of the bathrooms but they were very responsive.

The staff were so friendly and attentive. I was able to get all my questions answered through Whatsapp prior to my arrival and they were so accommodating in holding our bags for us while we did a quick 2 day trip to Venice. Also, prior to my arrival, they told me all the different ways to get to their hotel from the airport and how much each transport would cost me. It really helped alleviate alot of the anxiety upon arrival. They took the time to show me whereabouts of Rome on a map in relation to where the hotel is when I checked in. We walked everywhere in Rome (did not take any public transport except to the airport) and we found it to be a great location. I also appreciated the small things - like having ice in the freezer, which was a big plus for those of us who missed having ice in our drinks.

Nothing. Everything was top notch.

A historic, vintage building on a quiet, cobblestone lane, fully and expertly renovated and furnished with every up to date touch and convenience. The staff are marvellously friendly, efficient, helpful, and speak fluent English. The location is within 30 minutes' walk of nearly every site or neighborhood that anyone might want to visit while in Rome. There are literally dozens of places to eat within 5-10 minutes walk, plus minimarkets and pharmacies, as well as an open-air market. The room has a small kettle and an espresso machine, as well as a mini-fridge.

The room we took, at a fairly steep rate per night, even for Rome, was a bit small for a couple. One cannot comfortably sit, either for coffee or t.v. (there is only room for a tiny counter and one chair). The bedroom is designed and furnished to just about fit the space available -- although the bathroom is spacious and that's nice. The accommodation is bed alone -- no breakfast -- but one can find lots of breakfast options while going out and about each morning. Beware the elevator: it works well but only one person with one piece of luggage can comfortably stand in it -- two people can do it if they squeeze!

The room was very clean. The reception gave us all the information we needed, they are really kind and helpfull! If you stay in Rome, this is the perfect location if you like walking: Vatican 25 min, Piazza Navona 15 min, Trastevere 5 min. Many Restaurants in the area, good places for breakfast and brunch. It's worth to reserve for dinner !

1. The staff was excellent especially Valeria! We had a very late check in and she was waiting for us at the reception. She helped us plan our 3 days, charting walking routes, and recommending amazing eateries along the way! 2. The room was quiet, clean, comfortable and had a coffee machine (pods) as well! 3. The facility also has an elevator so it make hauling our luggage very easy 4. We had a baby as well, and we were able to leave our stroller behind the elevator which saved us more space in the room 5. The room was cleaned every day and the cleaning staff was very friendly 6. The location was very central and a 5 min walk from Campo di Fiori and we were able to walk to all the main places in Rome. We only took a taxi once during our 3 days - the rest of the time we walked comfortably!

Honestly, the place was super great for the value so no cons that I can think of.

Everything was fantastic - and we (unexpectedly) stayed in multiple spaces over a week due to flight delays, including the suite, the top level apartment, and a room with the view of the Tiber. Every space was great with its own charm, and the staff were incredibly helpful and kind with every interaction. The rooms were super comfortable and clean, and the location was excellent in a lovely neighbourhood with great cafes, restaurants, bars, a supermarket and the Tiber close by yet only walking distance from busier areas of interest. I was 5 months' pregnant and found everything cosy, comfortable and easy, and would stay with this property again in a heartbeat.

Gonfalone 6 is in a great location, close to Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Navone, Trastevere, and the Vatican. A bus stop is 100 meters away. We stayed in the suite, which had a very modern feel, beautifully updated. The king-size bed was really comfortable. The bathroom had the largest tub I've ever seen, plus a spacious separate shower with excellent water pressure. We found a terrific wine bar just around the corner with a wonderful selection of wines and small plates. Also, there are several cafes nearby for breakfast. The concierge Valeria gave us very good recommendations and was really friendly and helpful. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

There wasn't really anything we didn't like. The only thing that is a little irritating is that you have to enter through three different doors with three different entry codes. Make sure to take the little piece of paper with you or take a picture with your phone to get back into your room. It adds to safety, I guess. The taxi driver had a very difficult time finding and approaching the address. It would be easier to be dropped off on the Lungotevere and take down the steps to Gonfalone 6. Italian instructions to show the taxi driver would be very helpful!

Great communication before and during our stay. They contacted me through WhatsApp to welcome us and to send us check in information. They also offer to book us a taxi on our check out day at the time we requested. The room was clean, comfortable beds, amazing air conditioning (A/C) and pretty good hair dryer (priorities ladies!). Our bathroom had a bath tub which we throughly enjoyed after long days of walking around Rome. The property has an elevator for your luggage, you have to use the stairs to go up to your room, but that was ok. The place is very safe. We had to enter three different codes for three different doors before reaching our room. Our room had a great view of the Tiber River. 15-20 min walk to the Vatican City. Great little supermarket and cafes two blocks away from the hotel. We highly recommend Gonfalone 6 for your Rome stay.

The office hours end at 7:00pm.

We had a lovely welcome, and our luggage was taken to our room while we were checking in. We were also given lots of information regarding places to visit, and recommendations for places to eat / drink were sent to us via whats app, as were directions and ways to get to the accommodation prior to our travel. We were shown to our room and shown how to use the keypad locks. A bottle of Prosecco was also waiting which was a lovely surprise gesture, as we had gone for my sons 21st birthday. The room was perfect for my son and myself. The bathroom was spacious and modern with a fantastic shower, the twin beds were comfy, and the wardrobes had plenty of coat hangars to hang up all our clothes. There was also a coffee machine, plus kettle for tea and coffee, as well as a fridge in the room which had 2 bottles of water restocked daily. It was clean and warm. The location was perfect and walking distance to all the major attractions. It was an ideal place to stay!
