We absolutely loved Hotel Lirico! The staff were very welcoming and breakfast was everything we could ask for (meat, cheese, pastries, cakes, and yogurt). We really enjoyed our room, and appreciated the elevator, air conditioning (which we could control), and key card access to rooms. The hotel is located very close to all of the major Rome sites, but the area around the hotel was very quiet and had amazing restaurants (some just steps away from the hotel). We also appreciated that the room was very clean and that they were able to accommodate our early check-in after 20+ hours of traveling. We felt so spoiled and welcomed here, especially compared to other hotels we had visited. Highly recommend!!

Large stairwell to enter and then once inside you had to use the elevator.

It was in the centre and we almost didnot need transport. Although the room was small, it was well equipped and everything worked. The bathroom was quite small but there was no problem with water drainage, as it usually happens in many hotels. The room was quite clean, didnot even expect that much for 3star hotel.

The beds were not comfortable, but its ok for a short stay. The room was a bit too dark.

The property was very close to the train station and surrounding places we wanted to visit. Check in was very easy for my son (he was able to check in using my name, he was there with his school before I showed up) The room was a little small for 3 people but it was doable. There was a big double bed and a couch that had a pull out bed. The housekeeper was very polite when cleaning the bathroom and made sure we had enough supplies. We had an option to get breakfast but decided to explore the restaurants instead but not because of the food but because we wanted to try everything we could in the city. We will even be staying here on our last days when we circle back to Rome before we leave. Definitely recommend a stay here.

Location. Not too far from Roma Termini nor Trevi and other spots for me. Easy to find. Pleasant staff. Bathroom looks updated, bright lights, clean, and enough shower space to step in. Check-in and check-out was smooth and easy. It was a quiet room and had a nice view. Was able to rest and sleep well after a day of exploring.

There was no lift, but that didn’t impact my experience too much.

Returning to this hotel after 15 years, I was once again impressed. Padal at reception remains a standout – his exceptional friendliness and proactive approach to resolving any issues are truly remarkable and significantly enhance the guest experience. The daily housekeeping was impeccable, and the breakfast offered fresh bread and a delightful selection of pastries. Furthermore, the hotel's prime location provides effortless access to attractions, being within easy walking distance or a short distance from the station, with appealing restaurants nearby. The room's effective air conditioning and reliably warm shower were also appreciated.

Nothing I didn't like- I would definitely stay again with my family.

It's a lovely little hotel, well placed for all the main attractions of Rome. The staff are all extremely polite and helpful. The rooms are small but perfectly adequate for a short stay. And the air con is excellent, keeping us cool in a 38C heatwave!

It wasn't really a problem for us but the lift to the floors is extremely small. Also, again not a problem for my party of 6 but there are steep steps leading from the road to reception.

Decent hotel near the opera house in Rome. Considered in the "city center." A lot of restaurants and shopping very close by so location was good. Room was a bit cramped for 3 guests with 3 large and 3 small suitcases and bathroom was very small for a triple room. No meal option so I can't attest to the food. A bit expensive (about $250 a night for a triple) but probably considered inexpensive by Rome standards. I would recommend this place because of its location, close to everything.

a little outdated, would have loved the bathroom to be a bit larger, but by European standards, bathrooms are small...just a little tight for 3 women getting ready at the same time! About 40 stairs up to reception area...difficult with luggage

Location is excellent. 10 min walk from the main train station (Roma Termini) and 1 block from Via Nationale (the main street). It is right beside the opera house. Near restaurants, bars,and shopping. The hotel is spotlessley clean, bed was comfortable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Good AC.

Long staircase from the street to the front desk, ut staff will gladly carry bags up for you.The room. was small with only a 3 piece bathroom, but the location, staff, and comfort make it good value. Be wary of pickpockets at the train station (inside the train cars while boarding when it's crowded.

I'm glad that we spent our first night in Rome at this hotel. We felt that it was close to a lot of things, the room was a decent size, the bed was comfortable and there was AIR CONDITIONING in the room!!

About the only thing I could say negatively about the place, was the elevator - but you can't change that!! It's just very tiny. And I can't comment on the breakfast as we didn't take advantage of it.
