We stayed at Viminale View for 3 nights and it greatly surpassed my expectations. Eventhough the room was somewhat small, I found it to be very thoughtfully designed and intelligently laid out. The large window and the high ceilings added to the sense of space. More than enough space for two. Bed and pillows were v comfortable, Shower was hot and with good pressure, the room was quiet and the front desk gentlemen were both v friendly and helpful. The room and the breakfast area were impeccably clean and everything looked almost new and modern. It all looks like it does in the photos. Breakfast was also a nice surprise with a decent range of items and coffee, made to order. Wifi worked well too. We were also given 2 passes for drinks at the rooftop of their sister hotel, where the gym also is. Which was a nice bonus. I was initially concerned as my check in was going to be after 5pm and the hotel is only staffed from 7am-5pm, but prior to my arrival, I received an email with all details about gaining entry to the building etc. It all worked seamlessly with no issues. If you do book a room here, make sure you inform them of your arrival time. Location is great, only 5mins walk to Republica and 9 to Termini stations. Lots of restaurants and shops all around and not far from Via Nazionale and other attractions. If you can score a deal, Viminale View is a real gem and makes for a very comfortable, convenient stay, in a great part of Rome.

The location is great, with all the main attractions within walking distance, and the Vatican easily accessible by metro. There is a ministry building across the street from the hotel, which means 24/7 police surveillance and we felt very safe there. The room itself is small, but that's what they have in most hotels in Rome. The bed was comfortable and the room cosy. The room was cleaned every day and we were happy with the level of cleanliness. As our visit was during the winter it was a positive that the room was warm. It should be noted that the bathroom and toilet are basically connected to the room and do not offer privacy, so if you need privacy, this is not the hotel to book.

The soundproofing is almost non-existent, so if someone is walking or talking in the corridor, it feels as if someone is next to your bed. Earplugs are necessary.

The beds were really comfortable and big. The room was very clean. The area was central, only 8 minutes walking distance from the train station and there was a Carrefour express 2 mins from the hotel. The breakfast was simple but it had eggs and sausage which was nice. The clerk who received us upon check-in on the 24th of January at around noon was a very kind and welcoming man!

The rooms are turned to a very noisy and busy street, so bring earplugs or buy them at the supermarket, otherwise you won't be able to get some rest. At the breakfast, to get some coffee or cappuccino we had to ask the receptionist. To free their time and to allow more flexibility, a hot beverages machine should be available for the guests to use themselves. This is just a suggestion! The coffee was great though!

Facilities - there was an elevator to take you up to the room and was a nice space. Great location for getting around. The main train station is a 15 min walk (makes it easy to get to and from the airport) and then the local metro (repubblica stop) is like a 8 min walk. A few decent food options around. The staff - was very nice and the facilities were very clean and aesthetically pleasing. The room - Great shower - hot water and water pressure were great. Super comfortable bed too. Our room was pretty big too so lots of space to move around. The AC worked really well when we were there.

The breakfast was served kind of late for us, it started at 8 AM. I was worried about the sound levels outside, where actually werent much of an issue for us but the sounds inside the building were somewhat disruptive. You can hear ppl walking in the hallway and hear people above you if they're being loud (chairs sliding on the floor, people walking loudly in the hallway or in their rooms). I could hear another room from a vent in the bathroom which was interesting. The bathroom didn't have a fan. So if one went #2, then it was pretty smelly in the entire room which I didnt love.

The room was clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was included and had a variety of options. The staff were all lovely and friendly and would make you a coffee at breakfast which was nice. Location was central to attractions and close by to the train station.

Water pressure in the shower was a little low and there was no fan which made it a little damp after a hot shower.

There was plenty of choice for breakfast plus the coffee of your choice was made fresh for you by the staff. The location of the hotel was excellent with plenty of cafes/restaurants and pubs nearby,also not too far from some of the main tourist attractions of Rome,and there’s also free wifi.

It’s hard to think of anything that we didn’t like about our stay at the Viminale hotel but if I was to be really critical-the Italian television programs are just as bad as the ones at home so satellite tv would have been a welcome addition.

I have no negative comments about our stay. I was unsure how our check in process would go since it was after hours but we had no issues with the directions that was provided. We had an issue with our room safe needing batteries and that was resolved immediately.

Exceptional location, close to Termini railway station and everything else (shops, restaurants, bars, pizzerias, pharmacies etc). The neighborhood was safe, situated directly opposite the government’s Ministry of Interior building, known as Palazzo del Viminale. The room was immaculately clean and comfortable, the breakfast was also very good! The staff is very friendly and professional.

Our stay at Viminale View Hotel was very good with rational prices per night. Everything was exactly like the pictures - small room but exactly what you need for vacation - and absolutely clean! Staff very friendly and helpful with everything we needed. The receptionist made for us a great coffee!

We felt awkward when they asked if they could serve breakfast in our room, as there was no one else so to make a buffet. Of course we said yes and we enjoyed the service but we didn’t ask for much because we were uncomfortable to do so and this wasn’t equal to the price we paid for the breakfast. This isn’t anyone’s fault, I’m just observing so the hotel knows better next time 😊

Great location to see many of the attractions in Rome. Also close to Termini Roma (15 min walk with suitcases). Staff were welcoming and helpful with sightseeing suggestions. No one at Reception after 5pm but had a contact number if needed. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning was wonderful after such hot weather outside. Breakfast was buffet style and had enough variety to suit most people. Coffee and tea made to order. Room was quiet.

Happy with everything, even the antiquated lift.
