This hotel was close to the train station yet private. Teatro Dell 'Opera was located directly across the street. It was charming to open the window and peer down on the streets below. The restaurant across the street had a violinist in the evening and I felt that I had my own serenade.

wonderful staff showed us up to.our room and explained everything ....large rooms v comfy bed !! .the hotel is in a convenient location with some amazing restaurants ...just down the street is a tiny pasta joint...servings are huge for just 12 euro plus a supermarket across the street ...if you don't mind walking trevi fountain coloseum Spanish steps are about 20 min walk ....and don't leave before trying an eggplant parme pizza the best gelato and tiramisu!

the area around station bus termini is dubious we witnessed a pick pocket on our bus to the Vatican so make sure you have nothing in your pockets

Clean, comfortable, secure room. Very convenient location, just a five-minute walk from Rome's central railway station (from where there's an express rail link to the airport); and Termini, the main interchange station on Rome's metro network. Directly opposite the hotel, there's a pleasant restaurant, the Trattoria Tosca. Also, a Carrefour mini-market. And a few doors down the street, the Black On White bar is great for a breakfast coffee and croissant.

The old-fashioned, metal grille lift can be a little slow. On the other hand, it's part of the hotel's charm.

This hotel is right in the center of the "hotel" district, restaurants abound. The rooms are large and meticulously clean, with beautiful high ceilings and crown moldings, marble floors, air conditioning and great showers, and the topper was the "iron maiden" cage elevator. Really, a great room for the price, we stayed there for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, highly recommended.

The breakfast was basic and could be upgraded and tissues in the washroom would be nice, but other than that, not much to complain about.

Absolutely lovely apartment. Very spacious, great shower, comfortable queen bed, beautifully decorated. Gabrielle was so knowledgeable and passionate about Naples, and she went above and being upon arrival (after getting list) and then on my departure - I woke up with migraine and with a last minute request from me Gabrielle gave me a late check out and then made me coffee, made sure I had something to eat and then helped me converse with driver and assist me to walk to taxi. Gabrielle, your kindness is truly appreciated.

Google Maps says it’s a 7 minute walk from train station which I thought was doable with luggage. Unfortunately the route had many many stairs which I couldn’t navigate with the luggage and ended up getting lost for 40 minutes. Taxis also struggle with location although worst case they drop you off a few minutes walk. Gabrielle showed me easy walking route with no stairs!

location was brilliant. 150 euro taxi from airport although could possibly get it a wee bit cheaper on booking.com. 9 euro taxi to termini train station although u can walk it in about 20 mins. Staff hotel would ring a taxi an be there in 3 mins tops. Hotel also left 2 complimentary bottles of water in fridge. plenty of places to eat /drink 5mis walking distance. Although a busy street no noise from traffic and had great nights sleep

5 steps from street into hotel lobby. Maybe could do with a ramp as when carrying suitcases in the heat it can be a bit much

Friendly helpful staff. Clean tidy room. Fixed a small issue with aircon very quickly. The location was good - we wanted a compromise of being near Rome Termini for onward leg to Naples. So a little extra for Rome centre but still walkable for us. ( although 1hr walk to Vatican City in summer heat may be too much for many). A few nice coffee shops, restaurants in surrounding streets and a busy bustle in evenings. And a good Carrefour Metro (24 hr) on opposite side of street - perfect. Had a quiet room overlooking a side street. Great value.

Nothing of note personally. We didn't spend a great deal of time at the hotel during the day - so didn't need to take advantage of the breakfast or other facilities. So cant comment on those.

Location is very convenient and the rooms are quite good. Staff was on hand but otherwise unobtrusive. The location is optimal: S.M.Maggiore is 5 minutes walk, also 5 minutes from Termini but already in a nice neighborhood The Opera is just across the street, pharmacy, bars and restaurants nearby.

Wish there had been a breakfast option but there are several great coffee bars nearby. I don't use elevators myself, but this one is quite old and seems to be a bit difficult to use (saw a person unable to get the 'gate' to open for them).

Location is so good, very close to many historical places, restaurants and 2 metro stations. The staff were friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Mr. Rana.

There could be French bed instead of two small beds. Room was noisy.

The hotel was centrally located and about 10 minutes walk from Rome train station. Around the hotel was many restaurants to have food take away or dine-in. The room had a small view towards the road.

When you try to locate the hotel although centrally located the sign board was not clear so we ended up walking around to find the exact location. The bathroom size was very small. And the interior design of the rooms were bit old. It had all the basic amenities and was okay for someone who would spend only few nights. The shower area was getting clogged due to gully problem.
