I liked the fact that Hotel Britannia had a number of rooms in the lobby area where you could relax. The staff were bright and cheerful and extremely helpful! The room was clean and comfortable albeit a small space. I want to specifically mention the front desk person, Jorge! He was awesome, fun and very helpful! I rate Jorge a 10/10 !!!! He was very accommodating to us!

I did not like the breakfast. It just seemed mediocre to me. Good food attracts me, but I would not return here because of this. The cappuccino was horrible - it was one of those machines and the milk tasted awful! I could totally taste that it was made out of dried milk! Nothing worse than this! When you dream about going to Italy and you know that they have good cappuccinos - and then you get that? It was so disappointing to the point that I did not even have any coffee in the morning, we left to have our cappuccino elsewhere.

Jorge greeted us when we arrived. For me Jorge really stood out! He was very friendly and very professional. He suggested some restaurants for us to go to which were very good. The hotel was at a good location and it’s what I expected.

I think what could be improved is the breakfast buffet perhaps a bit more choice for hot food. Also it would be good if the breakfast buffet opened a bit earlier around 7am because we had tours everyday at 8am and since the breakfast only opened at 7:30 we were rushing everyday for breakfast! Also there was a maintenance man ( janitor) that kind of almost put as off. On our last day we had time to kill before our flight so we went back to the hotel and stayed at the lobby since it was too hot to roam the streets! The man who worked there commented to the receptionist that we shouldn’t be allowed to sit there as we had already checked out even though we were waiting for our taxi to come pick us up. This is my only complaint of the hotel.

Hotel is great: room is rather small, but fully equipped with mini-bar, hairdryer and all necessary. Bathroom is spacious and clean, towels changing every day. Breakfast is tasty and more varied than usually in such hotels in Rome: eggs, omelette, cheese and ham, vegetables and freshest pastries available every morning. Location optimal: 7min from Termini station, supermarket, cafe, shops, bus station located in 1-2min. Staff is very hospitable and ready to help 24/7. Definitely recommend and hope to visit it again!

Hotel was small but cute, with the taste of historic charm. Very good location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very thankful for surprise birthday balloons and welcome drinks for me and my sister. Room was cleaned up after everyday, fresh towels.

In the mornings it was a bit cold in the room and bathroom.

The hotel was located about a 10 minute walk from the Termini station and just a short distance from the Repubblica Metro. This was ideal for being able to easily access the important sights. The room was lovely and clean and the beds very comfortable. The staff were outstanding from the minute we arrived to the time we left. Nothing was a problem and one staff member helped me to print off an online booking to a venue. Super friendly and helpful.. .An absolute credit to the hotel!! Had a great conversation with one particular staff member about the Irish!! I can't remember his name but a very friendly, jovial guy. The breakfast in the morning was great with wide variety of everything hot and cold. Price wise we stayed off season so the price reflected this. All in all I l have no negative things to say about the hotel. I hope to get back here at a later date!!

Everything was outstanding! The location is amazing. You can go everywhere on foot and the area is quiet with a lot of excellent restaurants around. If you’d rather not walk, there are plenty of bus stops. The rooms are silent and they have all the amenities you need. Super clean! Nice beds and great pillows. Delicious breakfast with a great variety of fresh products. Nice background music in the lobby. Although the best of it all is the staff! Friendly, helpful and efficient. Kudos to Alexandra, she made our stay a lovely one! It was my mum’s birthday and they arranged some balloons in our room as a surprise for her. They also prepared a breakfast box one morning that we had an early day trip. Special mention to Simone too! He was super kind and attentive during breakfast. If I travel to Rome again, I will choose this hotel for sure.

The ladies on the front desk was absolutely amazing, I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels but they were the most polite, helpful and thoughtful team I’ve come across. The room itself was very comfortable - quite small as hotel rooms go, but very well formed and more than ample space. My back was so sore after walking round Rome all day and I was worried I’d struggle the next day, but a good rest in that bed and I was well-recovered to do it all again. And location was really handy for everything - easy walking distance to the likes of Trevi fountain/Spanish steps, and also the Colosseum and Roman area etc. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Location 10/10 (walking distance to literally everywhere), staff 10/10, cleaning 10/10. All necessary things are in the room. Absolutely everyone is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are small, but cozy and well organised. Bathroom is very comfortable (I mean it!). I like very much the style of the hotel and design of the rooms, was so pleasant to stay here. It was nice and warm, water was hot, we spent lovely 4 days in Rome, thanks a lot to the staff for everything.

Breakfast could be little bit more varied. For me was missing salad, from fresh vegetables only tomatoes, was no fried eggs. Not much soundproof, we could hear neighbours. Also no view in the rooms and drinking water only on arrival. Wi-Fi sometimes was a bit slow. But it just few small things, and honestly considering the price/quality/location ratio and extremely helpful people on the reception everything was alright.

What a great hotel. Nice and helpfull staff, great breakfast, lots to chose from, fresh and good quality food. We arrived by train and left by Taxi. The hotel was easy to reach, 10 minute walk from the trainstation and most of the major sites are in walking distance. We didn't need any means of other tranfer during our stay in Rome. The room was great (we even received a free upgrade), comfortable beds, the room was nicely decorated and clean. The bathroom was very luxurieus had everything you could wish for. The hotel staff arranged a taxi to the Airport for a fair fixed price (like I asked for when I booked the room). All in all a great stay and we'll definitely come back some day.

Great hotel, no remarks.

Great location, close to the Trevi Fountain, about 15 minutes walk. Cozy hotel in antique style, which has all the amenities. We stayed here in December, the weather was cold, but our room was warm and there was always hot water. Cleaning was done every day, breakfast was delicious and quite varied, a large selection of pastries and sweets. I want to say a special thanks to the wonderful staff of the hotel, especially Youssef, who was very attentive to us and helped us a lot. We definitely recommend this hotel.
