Hotel was perfect, couldnt fault it at all. Travelled 2 Adults and 4 Teenagers. I requested rooms beside each other and this was fufilled no problem. Breakfast was great, lots of choices. Pool was a welcome addition, as it was 38 degrees during our stay. It was clean and well kept, pool bar was a brilliant addition. Pool towels are supplied by life guard who is always on duty. If anyone left their towels on a bed in the morning to reserve it, and didnt turn up within a few hours, the lifeguard lifted the towels and freed up the beds. This was great. Rooms large and spacious, bed was extremely comfortable. Complimentary refreshments in the room fridge were nice touch. Hotel staff were great help, never a problem with answering questions and getting us taxis into the city. Normally around €25 for 6 seater taxi each way. Walking wasn't an option in the heat!! Taxis were cheaper that the shuttle bus which was €5 per person, and it only left you off at one destination in the centre, and didnt run many times during the day. All in all I'd definitely reccomend anyone to stay here, and I'll hopefully be back again.

Location wise, its far out from the city. But I knew that when I was booking. I had originally booked an apartment in City but when seeing the temperatures (38 degrees) opted for here due to the pool.

The hotel is very nice and clean. It has nice facilities and the pool is a plus.

The location is the great down part of the hotel. Is far from the city center, and public transportation. You can easily spend 30-40 euros in a way to the city center. The good part is that the hotel has a transfer that take you to the Vatican City at the cost of 5 euros pp.

My stay at Hotel Pamphili was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, Stefano, the customer relations manager, set the tone with his unparalleled hospitality, ensuring every aspect of my stay was memorable. The reception staff echoed this warmth, making me feel truly welcomed. The genuine friendliness and helpfulness of the entire staff, from Dana's ( lady from Colombia ) radiant charm at breakfast to the attentive service at the restaurant, left a lasting impression. The lady who checked us in for breakfast was helpful and kind too, often on hand to help me order a freshly made omelet to my taste. Speaking of the restaurant, the dining experience was a culinary delight, with each dish, from the Focaccia Mediterrane to the Filetto Maiale, surpassing expectations. The spacious and impeccably clean room provided a haven of comfort, while the unexpected opening of the outdoor pool added a touch of luxury to my stay. And let's not forget the indulgent couples massage at the spa, a perfect way to unwind. While the location required a short commute to central Rome, the ease of access via taxi (around €15) tram, or bus (€2) made exploring the city effortless. Plus, discovering the nearby Love Park was a delightful bonus. Though minor, the absence of an iron in the room was a slight inconvenience, but it didn't detract from the overall stellar experience. In conclusion, my time at Hotel Pamphili exceeded all expectations, and I eagerly anticipate my next stay at this gem in Rome. I’ll be back! Highly recommended!

One of the best things was the pizzas which almost seemed to have round the clock availability! The hotel was beautifully positioned beside a massive park which-if you have lots of free time and are energetic is a great resource. Large room with all amenuties needed and the terrace was an absolute slice of luxury.

While it was helpful to have the shuttle service the 18:00 and 22:30 return times were restrictive and this was rigid. One of the reasons I booked this hotel was the fabulous pool. Unfortunely the 10:00-18:00 opening times prohibited it's use and we needed to be in Rome for guided tours at that stage. Early morning and later evening access would have changed my rating for hotel. While the staff are very friendly and the bar cocktail and food menu sufficient because the hotel is a conference venue the bar was often busy and staff under resourced.

Nice location in a green area away from the down-town crowds. Easy parking. Nice and friendly staff. Good breakfast. Spacious rooms. Nice lobby and rooms. Good neighbourhood.

Would be nice to have some form of under 16 entertainment for kids. In the summer the outdoor pool is open which is perfect but in the winter there is not much to do for them (indoor pool/wellness is for 16 and older). The hotel is not ideally located for public transport yet the hotel does offer a "first-come first serve" shuttle service that takes you close to the Vatican (only in morning and evening). Maybe offering an "on demand" shuttle service from the hotel to the starting point of Tram 8 (Tram 8 takes you straight to the Colloseum) would be a great service to avoid a 20 minute walk which is partially uphill and no sidewalks. None the less, we were not bothered by any of this as we had our own rental car to drive into town (which was surprisingly easy and fast).

First things first, the staff! Most especially the staff on reception were all a pleasure to deal with. Friendly, engaging, competent, and always willing to help with any queries or questions. Secondly, the pool and the pool area were excellent. We ate from the pool bar a few times and all pizzas and salads were really tasty. Breakfast in the mornings was fantastic. A perfect selection of various cereals, pastries, breads, cheeses, eggs, sausages, bacon, juices etc. Also, a separate coffee bar for freshly made Italian(and some not so Italian 😋) coffees. The main restaurant serves gluten-free pastas and breads which was very much appreciated by my eldest daughter...thank you. Rooms were perfect too. Clean and spacious. Beds were comfy and the bathrooms ideal for a family with older kids. We had two rooms and we couldn't fault either.

Nothing.

This hotel is an absolute gem. We loved the room - thank you for an unexpected upgrade to a family suite, it really made a difference with 2 kids. The staff were nice to accommodate us as a family in the quiet side of the hotel, which was very thoughtful. We were travelling with another family and they made sure we’re on the same floor, which was a nice gesture. The facilities are amazing - we loved the pool and the terrace restaurant, so much so that we went to dine there twice. The breakfast is second to none, with a great selection. The design is also remarkable - it’s spacious and very well thought through. We felt very relaxed.

The pool is amazing. The only thing I’d say the lifeguard was super unprofessional - 90% of the time they were checking the phone or reading a novel. We were left surprised to see the lifeguard raise the voice at a child (not our child) who was left a bit shaken afterwards. Otherwise there are always clean towels and plenty of chaises both in shade and sun. It’s also open until pretty late so lovely to relax after a day of walking in town.

I loved the comfortable, clean rooms, amazing show and soft bed. It was nice to have a spa, restaurant and bar all on the property. The spa staff was extremely helpful and the restaurant staff was very friendly. I had a friend helping me with my luggage, and they asked to keep his ID until he left, which also made me feel safe as a guest staying at the property.

It was a bit hard to get into the city center and surrounding areas without a Uber or taxi since the property seemed to be nestled away into a more quiet part of Rome. The upside was that it was very quiet and I didn’t have to worry about any noise bothering me.

1) The staff were excellent. Well-trained, kind, and helpful. In particular, the staff at the reception and at the bar counter/room service were great. 2) The room was spacious, and the balcony had a fantastic view. Absolutely loved it. 3) Housekeeping was good and our rooms were always clean when we returned in the evening. 4) The breakfast spread was amazing. Being vegetarians, we always worry if we will get good breakfast. There were so many options for us, and everything was well-cooked and tasty. The cappuccino at the bar counter was superb. 5) The hotel property! What a lovely place. The flora and fauna around it. The cool breezy evenings. The hammock near the swimming pool. The sauna and the gym. Spectacular is the word.

The only complaint we had is that the pool wasn't open. When the picture of the pool gets advertised on booking.com, one assumes that the pool will be functional. It was a bummer that it wasn't, particularly after we carried all the swimming costume. I think informing people upfront about pool availability will build more trust.
