The first thing I’d like to say in my review is that Le Petit Real isn’t really a hotel. Instead, it offers serviced rooms in part of a large old apartment block on Via Cavour. I didn’t realise this when I booked it. There are no permanent staff, reception, restaurant etc but staff do come in from 9.00 to 13.00 to clean rooms. The room I had was spacious and clean however and I felt a bit like a local unlocking the big old door on the ground floor entering the building.

I didn’t realise the nature of the property when I booked so I didn’t like that it wasn’t a hotel with permanent staff etc.

The staff was really nice, friendly and helpful. The place was always really clean, with the staff cleaning it every morning. Excellent location that allowed us to visit every place by walking (we walked a looot). Frederico gave me all the needed indications prior to our arrival, which was fantastic. It was really easy to check in. Also, there was a ride from de airport, that worked really well and made our life easier. Overall, it was a great experience!

There wasn't much that I didn't like. But I think it would be good if the place had a kettle and a clothes iron. At some times of the day, the water was a bit cold, but mostly worked pretty well.

Our stay at Le Petit Real in Rome was absolutely delightful and made our honeymoon even more special. The staff were incredibly friendly and informative, always ready to assist us with recommendations and tips for exploring the city. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, but the highlight was the thoughtful honeymoon decoration and a lovely surprise gift waiting for us upon arrival. The location couldn’t have been more convenient, with station just a short walk away. For anyone visiting Rome, especially couples, Le Petit Real offers a perfect blend of hospitality, comfort, and convenience!

Very good comparative value. Nicely decorated, with inside black out shutters, comfortable bed, excellent air conditioner, an in-room safe, updated bathroom. After hour self-reception worked perfectly. Lots of convenient electrical outlets. The manager was very pleasant and helpful.

The building elevator was a bit jumpy but the stairs were great.

We wanted to stay near Roma Termini and it was indeed very close. The bathroom was recently renovated and was very good.

The other part of the room is pretty old. It was a little bit noisy at night. When we followed the instructions to get inside the building, the entrance door did not open for us as was described. Just after a few seconds a couple with a key came so we could enter after them, and they said that it takes some time for the door to open so put that in mind.

We like location, a lot of good place to eat, train and bus so close is a plus to this place. Elevator in the building is another plus. Also with closed windows at night it is a very quiet place

I would love to have electrical kettle in the room. I was sick for couple days and needed something hot to drink and this was a minus to the wonderful place otherwise

Location is perfect, very central to everything including transportation and walking to all of the main attractions. The people running the place are just great and will highly recommend it. I do have friends and family who reside in Italy but their location is not as central as this location. The Chinese restaurant on the same block was excellent but not so the Italian restaurant next door.

Is an older building so a better elevator would have been great but then it is better than walking up and down the flight of stairs.

It is a decent sized room and the location for what I needed was perfect. The instructions on how to get were very clear.

The lack of any staff available at any time that I was in the room was somewhat disconcerting. I returned late one evening and the lights in the room did not work. Apparently a fuse was out. This was not a great problem as the light in the bathroom still worked and I could see to get to bed, but with no one there, ever (except to clean when I was at work) if the problem had been more important, there would have been no solution.

the staff was kind and communication was easy.the room is big and very clean (room 10).1 power outlet was EU „norm“ (not typical italian) bathroom is new! connection to the old town is great. I would book it again.

the water preassure is getting less during the shower (I have long hair) but enough for a good rinse. matress was a bit hard, first night I didnt slept well.

Nice clean room. It was basic, but what was expected for the price. The location was convenient for the station and the walk down to the Colosseum area. It can be noisy in the evening (mainly passing police cars and ambulances), but again, it's a busy city. The owners were lovely, and overall, it was a great choice for what we needed.

The air con unit could not match the heat, making it difficult to sleep at night in July.
