Situated in a wonderful neighborhood, Le Suite Downtown offers the best of both worlds: it's close to all major sites yet pleasantly removed from the usual tourist hustle and bustle. Just a short walk from the Vatican, you can explore historical landmarks, quaint cafés and authentic local restaurants. The rooms are spotlessly clean (they were cleaned every day) and very comfortable offering a cozy retreat after a long day of exploring. Additionally, I loved that each day my room was stocked with complimentary snacks, coffee, water bottles and tea - such a thoughtful touch! But what made my stay truly exceptional was Marina's incredible hospitality. She is an absolute delight - extremely helpful, kind and always with a warm welcoming smile. During my stay she went above and beyond to ensure I felt at home, providing excellent recommendations. Her genuine care and attention created a warm and inviting atmosphere that made my visit truly enjoyable. This place is a true treasure, and next time I travel to Rome I will certainly be staying at Le Suite Downtown.

The only minor area for improvement would be the shower, which could benefit from a little updating. However, this did not detract from my overal wonderful experience.

Marina was an incredible host! One of the best I’ve ever had! Very responsive and always providing such valuable information on good restaurants/public transit options, adjusting accommodations, notifying us of restaurant partnership discounts, ordering Uber’s to the airport and letting me know about the souvenirs I forgot in my room. So grateful for Marina, she really made us feel comfortable and welcome in Rome!☺️💕

It was amazing!

Absolutely lovely place to stay in Rome. The location is perfect, close to the Vatican, close to a lot of restaurants (try La Soffitta right around the corner the food is amazing!) and a LOT. Of breakfast options also. We walked to the Pantheon and the Trevi fountains ⛲️ easy walk. Close to a metro station also and a lot of buses options also. If you want to explore Rome by foot or public transport it’s really the best spot to be. The bed was big and comfortable (if you like a hard mattress it’s perfect). The room was big enough for 2 peoples and their suitcases to be more than comfortable. The bathroom isn’t huge, but it has all you need and a bidet. The hot water does take a minute to arrive but once it’s there your good to go. We had our room cleaned everyday, bed made and water bottle and snacks replacé everyday which I have to say was very much appreciated. The host stayed for us since we arrived later than anticipated and was very warm and welcoming. She’s often present which his nice and she kept our bags in her office while we explored the city for one last time after the checkout. - Wi-Fi was good and fast - Netflix and Prime available on the TV - water bottle everyday with snacks - comfortable and clean room - old elevator but works perfectly well - very nice and secure neighborhood - very secure rooms too with a safe also available

The one thing I’ll say is the soundproofing isn’t the best. If your a light sleeper you might need some earplugs. It’s an old building with its charms but you can ear pretty much everything around your room.

If I could rate it higher, I would. The hotel itself has just a few rooms on the upper floor of a building just a few blocks from Vatican City. The cleanliness of the room, the amenities, and the location alone merit 10 out of 10, but the owner, our wonderful hostess Marina, took this to a whole other level. From the delightfully old-fashioned self-serve elevator to the many restaurants, grocers, and shops literally on the same block, our three-night stay was comfortable, clean, and relaxing. There is a taxi stand on one side of this block and the Ottaviano Metro stop is two blocks away. The Vatican Museum entrance is about two blocks away. The neighborhood is mixed business and residential and is busy but seemed very safe and walkable. But Marina is my new favorite person in the world. After she buzzed us in the secured front door at street level, she met us at the elevator. She stored our luggage until our room was ready, as we had arrived a bit early. She gave us great recommendations for places to eat, shop, and how to get around. She made sure we had anything and everything we needed during our stay. We communicated easily in person and through WhatsApp and the Booking chat. Moreover, when my wife discovered she had left some items behind in the room, Marina went over and above all expectations to reunite us with those items two weeks later when we returned from our cruise.

We liked everything about it.

I’m satisfied with everything about our stay. Marina is super super nice!!! She is friendly, patient, and considerate. The room is very clean. Even the very top of the heater in the room which is a spot that nobody will ever pay attention to is dustless. The property locates in a safe and nice area. It’s very closed to Vatican City (10 mins walking distance) and the subway station is like 6 mins away. We had a big luggage so I took a taxi from the Termini and it only costed about €16. I really think it’s a very good place to stay in Rome.

I had originally booked another property for our stay, until I saw an ad for this one pop up. I have to say I am incredibly glad I did, because it was just brilliant. The location firstly, is fantastic. Minutes away from a square that has everything you need, supermarkets and restaurants nearby, and close to the metro which takes you downtown, in 20 minutes. It's a just few minutes walk into the Vatican also. Secondly, our host Marina was just wonderful. Beyond helpful and incredibly kind. I made her aware that the trip was a surprise for my partner's 30th, and upon arrival she had placed balloons and a banner in the room to help me celebrate. Just so thoughtful. Not to mention how accomodating she was. I had asked if I would be able to leave my bag there the day of arriving, as it would have been a couple of hours before check in. Marina was kind enough to help us out, even more by prioritising our room, so that it was actually ready when we got there early!! This was incredibly helpful. The same applied for the day we were leaving, and again Marina allowed us to keep our bag at the property, until we were leaving for the airport which wasn't until later that evening. In addition to her kindness, she took the time to sit and go through a map of the city with us and give us some tips and pointers to help us around the city and where would be good to enjoy a nice evening celebrating my partner's birthday. The room is great, has everything you need and it's cleaned daily, if you wish. There's a coffee machine in the room and snacks and water are given to you also. The bed was comfy and the room was a good size for us a both. My partner is a history nut and so he really appreciated the decoration of the wallpaper in the room. I only have great and positive things to share of my experience because we're were genuinely treated so well, so for helping me make our trip amazing, I'm a beyond grateful to our host.

Everything was faultless.

Location was great. We had an access to everything ,as a restaurants or museum.

Everything was great, but the address and entrance door were a bit confusing because there was no sign with the Airbnb name on it. We had to walk around the building for about 10 minutes, even though our phone showed we had arrived.

Marina nad Katja are great! From the beginning Marina was very helpful, she welcomed us very warm and gave us tips about the recommended places around the apartment. During our stay, the room has always been cleaned and refreshed, so we felt very comfortable there. Localization is fantastic- few minutes away from the Vatican, several minutes away from the Piazza del Popolo and beautiful bridges of the Tiber river. About 100m away from the apartment there is taxi stop and bus terminal, so you can very quickly get to the city center. There are also great restaurants and cafes near the apartment, so you can eat delicious Italian food just around the corner! Once again- thank you for your hospitality! We will recommend this spot to all our friends and probably we will visit you again🙂 Ciao!

Marina was really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We had everything that we needed it. Location was really good. everything was very close by. I was recovering from a shoulder injury and she even took my ice pack to freeze it during the day. If I ever come back to Rome. I would definitely stay there!
