AC in my room wasn’t working and they had to scramble to get me into another room for 1 night then send me to a third room which was fine.

The location is brilliant. The staff were very kind.

The music on the roof terrace was extremely loud and was plainly audible late at night and even after the 10pm curfew, so after the first night I had to change rooms to a floor beneath (which the hotel well accommodated and were very understanding of, for which I was very grateful). I was travelling with a baby so it was important that we could rest in the evening. The second room was perfect. The roof terrace (which is run in a partnership with the hotel) let down the property in my opinion, since it is more like a club (with unfriendly staff) in contrast to the very nice welcoming vibe of the hotel.

We have chosen Umiltà 36 for our vacation in Rome and our stay was amazing. This hotel is located in the very heart of Rome - just a few minutes from the Trevi fountain - but hidden on a quiet street, which makes it a true gem. Our room was not only beautifully decorated, but also thoughtfully and smartly designed, the bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable and there was no noise from outside in the room. The hotel restaurant “Aquamarina” has a great seafood menu with local dishes and wine. What makes Umiltà 36 really special, however, is the people. Every staff member we’ve interacted with was friendly and genuinely helpful. And what is most important, during our stay our little daughter was treated like a princess - which meant the world to us.
