Overall, my stay at 59 Steps Trevi was excellent. Great location, walking distance to all the sights. The cleanliness of the apartment deserves every praise, as does the friendliness of the staff. The air conditioning worked flawlessly during the extreme heat. The beds are comfortable. The only complaint I have about my stay this year is that I was not informed that the apartment was on the 4th floor without an elevator, so I had a lot of trouble walking up the stairs as I am elderly. In a conversation with the staff, I also learned that this problem will be fixed in the near future and that the entire building is actually being renovated, including an elevator and additional services such as breakfast and the like. I am happy to return to this facility again.

Mentioned above, only issue was lack of elevator.

The location of this place is amazing. I know all the reviews say this but it really is under a minute to the trevi fountain. Our favourite thing was walking past this beautiful monument every single morning. It meant we could jump in whenever the queue was smaller. Everything is walking distance! The Vatican is the furthest thing and it was only 40 mins picturesque walk. We arrived 1:30am but the self-check in was super easy and reassuring. As we were so close we decided to pop to the Trevi straight away and it was empty, so magical for our first night. The staff are super friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. The host gave lots of fantastic recommendations for attractions and food. They gave us a map and drew the routes we need to take which we used every day of our trip. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The only thing to note is the stairs. We didn’t mind but they were a bit of challenge after a long day of walking!

Fabio was excellent helped us with directions for our walking tours and gave us some info on great restaurants in the area also booked our taxis to and from the airport. Perfect location right near the Trevi fountain so you can go before or after the crowds. Central to other attractions like , Spanish stairs and the pantheon, restaurants etc.

During our stay the temperature reached 30-31 degrees outside you need to be mindful that we were unable to use our air-conditioner due to government regulations. We were told the air conditioner could only be used when the night time temperature reached 27 degrees Celsius. We were provided with a pedastool fan but was very hot in our room. Also there was lots of stairs to climb after a long day sight seeing. A kettle for a cuppa in the room would be great.

- central location. like all the other comments this hotel was 3 minutes from trevi fountain (great for anyone who wants to wake up at 6 am for pictures) - we did ask for a kettle which they did provide for us. they also saw we were a family of 5 and gave us a mini fridge in the room which was so nice as well. - the owner was very open and willing to give recommendations so feel free to ask him for any ‘local’ tips.

- our bathroom door was broken. after we told the owner he said that the previous visitors did break it and the mechanics were aware/on their way. (they didn’t come throughout our trip) this wasn’t ideal for us (ie a family of 5) but maybe that’s why he put a fridge in our room instead. ***not linked to the hotel directly but the area around the hotel/trevi foundation can get very crowded so it may not be the most peaceful place.

I had an amazing stay at this boutique hotel in Rome! The location was perfect—walking distance to all the major attractions. The room was spacious, the bed incredibly comfortable, and despite being in a busy area, it was wonderfully quiet thanks to the soundproof windows. The staff went above and beyond, recommending great places to visit and providing helpful tips over WhatsApp. The service, location, and overall value were fantastic. I highly recommend staying here for anyone visiting Rome!

That the holiday come to a end !! Cause it was perfect .

The PERFECT location if you want to be close to everything. The Trevi fountain is literally around the corner. The staff and I believe the owner, are amazing. The receptionist helped us with our bags and explained everything in the room for us when we arrived. The manager/owner also helped us arrange a taxi for our trip to the airport in the early morning. Amazing staff, amazing location, clean room and truly just had a great experience with this booking. I couldn’t recommend it any more.

Perfect location, we were able to easily walk to all of the major attractions. The staff was kind and very helpful and the accommodations were very comfortable and clean. The arranged taxi transport to and from the airport was also convenient. We will be booking this stay again on our next trip to Rome.

Amazing customer service. We had to book this stay short notice, and we were so impressed with the assistance we received. Not only did we have a shuttle pick us up- (we were delayed), we had prompt responses and a warm friendly face at the airport and the hotel. Very clean and quiet. Amazing location, and they set up a cot so nicely for my son! They made it into a little bed with sheets and everything. Thank you for making this seamless and wonderful for my little family of 3.

Location is great, nice restaurants, bars, and attractions around, room is great, silent, fresh renovated. Personnel very polite, helpful and professional. Trevi fountain is just less than one minute walk, which is great if you wake up early you can have a nice photo session with nobody around!

Only a very little detail which doesn't affect the great overall experience we had: To get hot water for a shower (late evening), we had to let the water run for about 5/7 minutes. A possible isolated case.

The place was cool (which was really fortunate in the hot Rome). And clean. At arrival the staff, was super friendly and gave us a clear and concise explanation of the place (A/C, shower etc) but also have us good information about where to eat and where to drink. He helped us with arranging a taxi. All was taken care of really well.

There is nothing I could think of that was not nice or well done. The photos could be a bit more clear on the website. The first photo on booking.com of the building doesn't look attractive. Looks old. But the inside of the hotel and staff is really good. Maybe to show off a bit more with that.
