My stay at this hotel in Rome exceeded all expectations! From the moment I walked in, check-in was seamless, and I felt welcomed right away. After a long journey, the efficiency and warmth of the front desk staff were much appreciated. The location was perfect—just a short stroll from iconic landmarks, and I loved being able to wander through charming streets and stumble upon hidden gems. One evening, I found a wonderful little trattoria just around the corner that served the most delicious homemade pasta! Breakfast was a daily highlight. The spread was fantastic, with fresh pastries, fruits, and aromatic coffee that gave me the perfect start to my day. I especially loved the fluffy croissants—they were the best I had in Rome! What truly made the experience special was the staff. Their kindness and attentiveness stood out. When I needed recommendations, they went above and beyond, even sharing their personal favorite spots that made my trip extra memorable. This hotel truly made my Roman adventure unforgettable, and I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

If this place in your price range, don’t look any further. It’s amazing. The location is perfect, in an excellent neighbourhood with Spanish Steps, Fountain Trevi, Pantheon a few minutes walk away. A metro station to Roma Termini train station and from there to the airport is very close by. Not to mention a lot of good restaurants (one just downstairs) and supermarkets around the corner. The room is great, spacious, lots of storage space, clean, balcony with chairs and table. Not to mention a bottle of Prosecco on arrival. The breakfast is simple, but fresh and more than enough. Great coffee and pastries too. The hosts Shiron is great. Note this. The appartments are in an office building that is not easy to spot from the street and there is no large sign. Look for a large gate on the left next to the bank.

The location is ideal—close to major attractions and easy access to public transport, making sightseeing effortless. The staff truly made a difference, always friendly and ready to assist with anything I needed, from recommendations to special requests. The suites are in a prime central location, just a few mins walk to Trevi Fountain. Vatican, Villa Borghese and Colosseum are all under 30mins walk. Laptop safe, Smart TV and the building is super quiet despite so close to Trevi Fountain. Supermarket is close by. Very delicious breakfast too! The host is very good in communication, sent the door code and self check in instructions via WhatsApp before we arrived in Rome. Free bottle of wine included too!

The room doesn't have a view since it faces other buildings, however that help making the room super quiet!

We loved our stay at the Elical Executive suites. The room was very modern with high ceilings and triple glazed windows with modern comfortable furnishing. We were given a bottle of wine on arrival and the fridge was stocked with bottled water free of charge. There is a kettle with tea and coffee supplied. The bathroom was a good size with all the amenities we needed. The shower was large with great water pressure. The main bed was king sized and very comfortable. The kids beds where located behind the headboard wall which they loved and also found very comfortable. The staff were very attentative. The breakfast was delicious with a range of fresh cakes, pastries, eggs, cold meats, fresh bread, fruit, cereals, juices, tea and coffee. The location is great, walking distance to cafes, restaurants, shops, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps and many more famous attractions.

The airconditioning wasn't working well so the room was a bit too hot.

From the moment we opened the doors we were impressed by the beautifully appointed decor in the reception breakfast area. The furniture was classy and the contactless checkin was easy and extremely efficient. The room was sophisticated and provided everthing that was needed for our stay including an iron (thank goodness). The champagne was a lovely touch on arrival. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was well designed. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the staff were polite and friendly and very accommodating. Antoine was very responsive. The main draw card was its location to the Spanish steps, trevi fountain and pantheon all within easy walking distance. We loved our stay at Elical and would definitely recommend the suites for those looking for a modern and beautifully appointed suite.

This was an ideal location for the week my mom and I spent in Rome. You can walk to Trevi fountain in 3 minutes and the Spanish steps in about 5 minutes. The property only has 6 rooms and we only saw other guests one time. Even though it's situated in a busy area, it was incredibly quiet. The breakfast spread was great. We didn't have a chance to mail our postcards so I left them on the desk in our room and asked the hotel to mail them. The manager sent me a video showing my postcards going into the mail slot! They also made it easy to arrange a private taxi to and from the airport.

The only challenge was that breakfast buffet didn't start until 8:30am. They did offer to deliver a tray of food to our rooms on days when we had to head out early.

Amazing location between the Trevi fountain and the Spanish Steps and nice place to stay. Luxury and comfortable unit. Great Italian-style breakfast. The room was quiet and the manager of the property was excellent. We would definitely come back outside of the hottest months of the year.

The air conditioning probably would have been fine in regular summer weather—but it was not enough during the heat wave we experienced. We were consistently hot. We also had an odd interaction with a staff member (not the manager) who was not friendly when we sat down for breakfast. But the friendliness of the manager and his excellent customer service made up for it.

Stayed here for my honeymoon for 5 nights, the host communicated well via WhatsApp prior to check in. The room was clean, beds comfortable and breakfast was delicoius! Its important to note this is a Boutique apartment not a hotel so there is no reception or baggage storage. The only downside to our stay was the AC in our room was definitely not working, it was always HOT so we had to sleep with the balcony door open. I've seen previous reviews with the same issue so would be great to address this. Other than that was a great stay with central location close to Trevi Fountain!

The Suites consist of 5 new rooms and a breakfast area that are part of a classic old office building. The suites are on 3rd floor (4th floor using American numbering conventions.) The rooms are well designed with great shower areas. It is very quiet. The location is excellent—close to the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and Spanish steps. It is about a 20 minute walk. There is an elevator. The owner provides a nice continental breakfast notable for the fact that there is drip coffee as well as the omnipresent espresso machines at most locations. We were leaving before breakfast and so he brought us a breakfast tray the afternoon before our departure—very considerate.

People staying at this property need to understand that it isn’t a hotel so there is not 24 hour staffing, bars and restaurants. The building is mostly offices so it is very quiet when you return in the evening—sort of like going down to an office building late in the evening.
