I loved the location since it was my first time visiting Rome with my autistic son. We did a lot of walking. Trevis Fountain was literally around the corner when you step outside the building. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and it was very nice to have it in the room every day. We had a great room too, very spacious which was perfect for my son. Can’t wait to be back.

I’m not a fan of self check-in and checkout when I’m traveling alone with my son, especially because it’s a small hotel, but still a hotel, but thankfully they accommodated my needs and someone was there to check us in and out. I was very grateful.

The location was the best! Steps away from the Trevii Fountain simply couldn't be beat! The woman that was there to try to help, prepared our brakfast carts, and gave us as much information as she could was very pleasant and friendly. We all appreciated her willingness to do whatever she could to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed.

The check in process was a little rocky. When you get there, there is no directions telling you where to go or how to get any assistance. We had to ask for help from people who had limited English comprehension, so a little more in the way of directions on where to go once you enter the building would be a strong recommendation.

We couldn’t have wished for a better location, so close to the Trevi fountain, you’re right in the centre to walk to most of the places you might want to visit. The communication from the hosts was excellent and they responded really quickly when we needed to ask a question. My only complaint was that we hadn’t understood breakfast would be left in the room for us. It’s not the biggest of rooms and not much choice on seating, it wasn’t a leisurely breakfast! But, the lady looking after the rooms, we really accommodating and switched a few things around so the food was more to our taste. Oh and the room we has was lovely and quiet too, which surprised me being so close to the busy bars and restaurants.

I thought the location was exceptional. It is literally a 15 second walk to the Trevi fountain. I visited with my aunt who struggles to walk long distances. But we managed to walk to all the main attractions bar the Vatican with no problems. The Spanish steps are a very short walk from here and walking to the Colosseum doesn't take long either. I'm so glad I found this place on booking.com. And if I visit Rome again I would definitely stay here. The price was very fair also.

I did not like the locking system on the front door to the apartments. I was provided a key to our room and a key for the main front door downstairs. But the door to the apartments is a strange electronic device that you need to put a long code in or use your phone to unlock. It was sometimes temperamental and on the occasions it worked straight away you have to be quick to turn the handle and push the door open. The edge of the door frame then scrapped the skin off my finger over four times. Very painful!

Domus Fontis is situated just steps from the Trevi Fountain. It's a VERY busy area however when you are in your room you cannot hear any noise at all - so peaceful. The set up is a small B&B of just four rooms - it is not a typical hotel or B&B as staff are not on site 24/7 so you need to be quite self-sufficient. Rita, the housekeeper, was there to greet us when we arrived, and each morning she cleans the rooms and sets up the in-room breakfast for your next day (things like pastries, yoghurt, biscuits, meat/cheese, juice etc). This does mean you need to be out of your room each day. We were able to leave our luggage when we checked out at 11am and were taking a later flight. They were also able to arrange a transfer to the airport for us. Bathroom was good, big, and room was big enough that we did not feel cramped. Very clean.

Unbeatable position near Trevi fountain. Well maintained building and small hotel on its 5th floor. Optimal choice to minimize time of visiting interesting places both for walkers and for pensioners preferring public transport. Breakfast prepared into the room the previous day provides flexibility and private atmosphere when having it. Big, comfortable room, no noise from crowded street.

Very minor issue, but getting in for the first time was rather unusaul and a bit complicated for us.

The location is right next to the Fontana di Trevi, so it is an excellent location to enjoy Rome, see the sights, and just go for a stroll. Also this place is really quiet, something you can not find often in Rome. The room is small and the hotel doesnt have the typical hotel facilities, so you wont find that.

There is a lack of facilities that are normal in bigger hotels. But you wont find that in central Rome anyways. The metro station is roughly ten minutes walking away, but there is no way to build public transport in the area anyways, so you get what you choose. The view from the windows was very meh, but that's not important with world class sights in front of the door

Great facilities. Excellent communication from staff. Was greeted by staff to show us around. They helped set up our airport transfers. Location is amazing. We only had a half day in Rome and were able to cover a lot of ground! Very easy for my mother to get around. We were happy to have the elevators so my mom didn’t have to do the stairs!

It was still a little warm in the room even with the A/C on low. It is the middle of summer so we expected some conditions like that.

The accommodation is in the best location. The room is nice, the bathroom is modern. The breakfast was prepared in the room, but it was good, although there was always a piece of bread roll. (there were two of us). By the way, it was a delicious and plentiful breakfast.

Purity is not 100%. The bedding was a little stained and had hair on it. The floor was definitely not mopped. There was a bit of a strange smell in the room. Bathroom vent made whistling noises. The most disturbing thing was that after checking out, our luggage could only be left in an unguarded place. It wasn't a problem, but someone else can eventually touch it.

Location was key - you are in walking distance to everything you need If the trip you are on requires a trip to the vatacin that will br a taxi ride- taxi's however are right outside the door on the left

I did not love the checking system with the first door. You need to activate this by your phone. Sometimes when you're traveling, this is not convenient because you may not be in Wi-Fi or you may lose your phone capability. Absolutely need the phone to get through the first one I sent you a system.
