Loved that this was in a residential area with numerous neighborhood restaurants serving good food to regular customers. It was an easy walk to some locations, such as the Vatican, Piazza del Popolo, via Condotti and via del Corso. The Villa was very beautiful and surrounded by a small green area with plenty of shade. The breakfast was served in a lovely space and food was fresh and delicious - the bread was still warm.

The bed was very comfortable, but very low to the ground, which we are not accustomed too. It was sometimes difficult to get up from the mattress! The area was a little distant from some interesting parts of Rome, such as the centro storico.

A unique property that is beautifully decorated and curated with personal photographs, china, and furniture - the bar and breakfast room are especially stylish. It is in a good residential location but near enough to local restaurants and a short taxi to the sights. The staff were professional and courteous. Breakfast was exceptional, and the bar was great for a nightcap.

We were upgraded to a deluxe room with a private shaded terrace - the bathroom had Aesop toiletries and a great shower, but it was tiny. A small quibble.

The breakfast was excellent - especially the mini croissants and pains au chocolat. Eva at Reception was friendly and helpful in terms of securing us a reservation at an excellent restaurant in the Piazza del Popolo. The Liberty style decor as well as the garden seating to the side of the hotel could not have been more beautiful. Although a bit distant from some of the major attractions, this hotel offered a welcome sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of Rome.

My best hotel experience yet. From the elegantly furnished interiors to the luscious green exteriors, from the gracious staff to the delicious breakfast, everything about Villa Laetitia exceeded my expectations and provided the basis for an unforgettable stay in Rome. The hotel's location on the banks of the Fiume Tevere, in one of Rome's most beautiful and dreamy neighborhoods, was simply unbeatable. Special thanks to Laura, Caterina, and the housekeeping team for the impeccable service!

The photos on Booking.com and elsewhere really do not capture the beauty and grandeur of the hotel! I would suggest adding updated photos that show more detail.

The breakfast was excellent. The location was good - close to the city center and the Vatican, yet not too touristy, the street fairy busy, but our second (European) floor windows were overlooking treetops and with windows closed it was fairly quiet.

Breakfast starts at 7:30 and since we had to leave for the airport at 6, we missed out on it. In other hotels under similar circumstances we'd get a "to go" (sandwich, pastry).

Location is really good and useful for visiting Rome. The hotel is really beautiful in appearance and so are the rooms. Very good taste in internal design. The breakfast is decent. Room service is also good. Reception and bar staff are nice and sincere.

The hotel does not have a dedicated room for conducting office work and is hard to work in the rooms also due to lack of desk space and power outlets. Additionally since the building is old, walls are quite thin and you can hear everyone in the corridors. Mosquitos were also a significant problem. Also no one informed us beforehand that their restaurant is usually fully-booked for dinners (weeks in advance) so we couldn't make reservations once we arrived.

Location in quiet upscale neighborhood away from heavy tourist area. Attractive gracious public rooms and lovely delicious breakfast in dining room. Quirky but appealing bedroom decor with nice bathroom in a quiet room. Very pleasant helpful professional staff. Felt like stepping back in time to a grand old Villa.

Uncomfortable seating in our small room. Bed was comfortable but not luxuriously so.

This is a lovely part of Rome with a local community feel, plenty of places to eat and drink and within reasonable walking distance of the centre. The staff were very helpful and the room was spacious and fitted with interesting design features. Wonderful breakfast!

We choosed this location because we needed to close to the Vatican City (attending the Easter mass), we wanted to walk to explore the city and enjoy. The villa was what exactly we were looking for the garden & to feel more like home. Breakfast was excellent even though we had tour scheduled and we had to leave early in the morning. We had breakfast twice and was excellent/especially the honey from the hive brought from their farm & the espresso. I liked everything, also, I liked very much that they do not use paper towels (to dry your hand) but clean organic towels and I appreciate that very much. I loved the changing of the bed sheets as many times you want to. I really felt like I am home, I loved that how they kept the originality of painted walls and very detailed art work which tells exactly how passionate and how they maintained everything with love and care to make the staying for everyone a pleasure to be there. My stay at the villa was superb!! I stayed for a whole week and it was definitely value for money from comfy bed to amazing breakfast everything was great. The staff very helpful and polite and Eva is the soul of the premises!
