My best hotel experience yet. From the elegantly furnished interiors to the luscious green exteriors, from the gracious staff to the delicious breakfast, everything about Villa Laetitia exceeded my expectations and provided the basis for an unforgettable stay in Rome. The hotel's location on the banks of the Fiume Tevere, in one of Rome's most beautiful and dreamy neighborhoods, was simply unbeatable. Special thanks to Laura, Caterina, and the housekeeping team for the impeccable service!

The photos on Booking.com and elsewhere really do not capture the beauty and grandeur of the hotel! I would suggest adding updated photos that show more detail.

Location is really good and useful for visiting Rome. The hotel is really beautiful in appearance and so are the rooms. Very good taste in internal design. The breakfast is decent. Room service is also good. Reception and bar staff are nice and sincere.

The hotel does not have a dedicated room for conducting office work and is hard to work in the rooms also due to lack of desk space and power outlets. Additionally since the building is old, walls are quite thin and you can hear everyone in the corridors. Mosquitos were also a significant problem. Also no one informed us beforehand that their restaurant is usually fully-booked for dinners (weeks in advance) so we couldn't make reservations once we arrived.

This hotel is a masterpiece. I don't understand why Villa Laetitia still isn't included in the best-hotels-in-the-world-lists. So beautiful, sophisticated, luxury, with attention to the smallest details — it's amazing place and one more reason to go back to Rome.

The Michelin-star restaurant was closed unfortunately (in August)

We choosed this location because we needed to close to the Vatican City (attending the Easter mass), we wanted to walk to explore the city and enjoy. The villa was what exactly we were looking for the garden & to feel more like home. Breakfast was excellent even though we had tour scheduled and we had to leave early in the morning. We had breakfast twice and was excellent/especially the honey from the hive brought from their farm & the espresso. I liked everything, also, I liked very much that they do not use paper towels (to dry your hand) but clean organic towels and I appreciate that very much. I loved the changing of the bed sheets as many times you want to. I really felt like I am home, I loved that how they kept the originality of painted walls and very detailed art work which tells exactly how passionate and how they maintained everything with love and care to make the staying for everyone a pleasure to be there. Location in quiet upscale neighborhood away from heavy tourist area. Attractive gracious public rooms and lovely delicious breakfast in dining room. Quirky but appealing bedroom decor with nice bathroom in a quiet room. Very pleasant helpful professional staff. Felt like stepping back in time to a grand old Villa.

Uncomfortable seating in our small room. Bed was comfortable but not luxuriously so.

Incredible opulent manor house with exquisite details and beautiful outdoor areas. Wonderful!

The reception staff were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble but breakfast and cleaning staff were not. We were treated badly at breakfast and were rushed - staff ironing table cloths on tables hurriedly is not a relaxing way to spend a breakfast!

Loved the design of this hotel. Absolutely gorgeous building with uniquely designed rooms. The staff were wonderful and the breakfast was good.

Wifi is very slow. There were many times that nothing would load. Forget about streaming anything in your hotel room. The room we had faced the street and it was extremely loud with police sirens and loud trucks passing by every night.

Feel of home and away from the hustle and bustle. Extremely comfortable beds. Very helpful staff.

Shower needed a good scrub. Significant mould on walls and rolling curtain door wheel strip. Floors in the room were dirty but got around that by wearing slippers. The air conditioning would not go below 23C which was a true inconvenience when the weather hit 30C but this seemed to be the case everywhere we went for some reason.

The staff at Villa Laetitia are amazing. Everyone had a smile on their face and was more than happy to help. The hotel itself is STUNNING! If you are looking for somewhere relaxing, romantic, and lots of natural beauty (the garden outside is so charming), this is your sign to book. Definitely our favorite place we stayed during our travels. P.S. We stayed in the "green room!" which was outside the main hotel so I am not sure what stayed inside the actual hotel was like, but I imagine just as comforting and relaxing.

The only thing we had trouble with was the WIFI. It is most likely because we were so far away from the main hotel in our own little room/building ,and I actually didn't mind because that much because it forced me to get off my phone, but my husband was desperately trying to watch the Phillies game and could not connect,. When we did connect we only had 1 or 2 bars and really couldn't load much anyway. I recommend downloading shows and movies on the Netflix app and bringing an HDMI cord to hook up to the TV if you're someone who needs technology.

stunning individual interiors to marvel at in each room of the property. stayed in a garden room outside the main villa which was really nice. lovely bar. staff very attentive helpful and friendly. definitely like staying in a 5 star hotel!!! if you stay in Rome staying here is an absolute must for a true Italian experience!!!!

the only thing I would strongly suggest is that the round room I stayed in should get a full length mirror. the hotel is very gorgeous and grand with a Michelin star restaurant. if I’m getting ready to eat in a Michelin star restaurant I want to see my whole outfit before I go out. i saw other rooms had full length mirrors I’m just not sure why they don’t install one in the round room. other then that absolutely perfect
