When we arrived - we received a friendly, welcome and professional greeting. The hotel was easy to find, the room was lovely, a generous size and spacious en-suite. Breakfast choice was extensive. A great base for exploring.

Central location, a short stroll from the bridge that takes you across the water to Ortigia. Large and airy room with view over the hotel’s central courtyard. Abundant breakfast with something for everyone. The scrambled eggs and grilled vegetables were excellent, as were the various pastries. Night porter on reception was excellent and very helpful, went out of his way to help us.

Day reception staff at check-in need to be a bit sharper. No information was given on breakfast times and WiFi. There was no info pack in the room with information on hotel facilities, breakfast time, check-out time OR the local area, which you would expect to find in a hotel like this. Needed to go back down to ask for WiFi code; receptionist pointed to a small sign on the desk. No ironing facilities in room. Had to go and iron outfits down in reception.

The location was superb for Siracusa and Ortiga, being situated between the two. You can easily walk to all main areas of interest. Furthest points about 25 minutes walk. We are quite fit so no problem. It was also a 10-15 minute walk for us to the hotel from the bus and train terminals. The sidewalks are uneven and cross a number of sideroads but manageable. We felt safe walking to and from both and did so with luggage when needed. The bus from Catania airport worked well for us. Dont expect a big bus terminal - you are effectively dropped on a side road but it's fine. Lots of restaurants within easy walking distance.

Beautiful design, lovely property, clean & well located. It’s a short 5-10 min walk away from the busy areas, we were very happy with everything. Staff are very kind & welcoming; helpful with parking & we were even offered a nice surprise of a glass of Prosecco! We had one of the best breakfasts here (very stylish setting too) - and usually we are not into hotel breakfasts at all!

Nothing to add here - except to keep in mind that room doors aren’t very well insulated - but it’s a beautiful period property with original timber doors, which explains this! The hotel is very quiet so it didn’t bother us.

The location of this hotel was perfect in terms of going to Ortigia. We were very close to the bridge which brought us into this quaint, charming section. We had a car and were able to park in a lot that was about three blocks away - very convenient. We used Siracusa as a base to travel to other parts of Puglia and were not disappointed. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and very accommodating. We were given recommendations for dinner in the local area and each morning we were served a delicious array of foods for breakfast. It was an enjoyable stay!

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome from the staff, who went out of their way to ensure I felt at home. Their hospitality set the tone for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The room was clean and had the basic necessities needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, allowing for a decent night's sleep, and the room had the essentials to get by. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. The selection was both delicious and varied, offering something for every taste. It was the perfect start to each day. The hotel's location is another major advantage. Everything I wanted to see and do was within walking distance, including the charming shops, the historic Ortigia island, and all the other amenities the area has to offer. It made exploring the area so convenient and enjoyable. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and welcoming place to stay. I look forward to returning on my next visit!

Nice hotel in a great location, not far to walk to Ortigia and about 2km to the Parco Archeologico. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast.

The shower was not great. It is in the bathtub and very slippery. When I complained to the reception they quickly provided a bath mat (thanks). No shower screen so water went all over the bathroom floor. Height of shower not adjustable and difficult to get the water direction set.

Even though we booked the small double room it was very spacious and comfy for two people. The stuff was extremely accommodating and I would like to refer to the lovely receptionist Conchita who went through personal effort to help me when I had a misfortune. Thanks to the staff and Conchita!

Great location near Ortigia but can also walk to the Archaeological park. Lovely large comfortable bed. Good choice of food for breakfast including fresh fruit. Everything very clean and tidy. Very helpful friendly staff who looked after our baggage during the day before we got the night train.

The building and interior were attractive. Staff friendly. Bed comfortable. Great location. Sights, restaurants, railway station all in close proximity.

For a four star hotel the facilities were limited, only the essential services of a room and breakfast were provided.
