The hotel was in a great location just a short walk to town. My godmother did struggle a little with her bad leg so please be aware there is some walking, or taxis involved. The highlights were the view and the staff. The manager and his team truly get to know you and want to assist with meeting your needs. I have never had such amazing personalised hotel service. The staff in the restaurant were lovely and it was nice to share a joke with them. My only critisism, however I haven't let it impact the rating is that I felt the restaurant menu could have been a bit more exciting and they should not allow smoking on the restaurant balcony during dinner service.

From the views of the Bay of Naples, to the quality of the food and drinks (one of the best White Russians I have ever tasted), to the private bathing area and friendly and attentive staff, this truly is a remarkable hotel. All the attractions of Sorrento are within a short walking distance but the hotel is far enough away that you can relax and recharge in peace and quiet.

Nothing at all. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Spend an evening watching the the sun set from the bar or restaurant and I have no doubt you will feel the same.

The property was right on the coast and very beautiful. It was only .5 mile walk to the middle of town. It was clean and accessible to basically everything. We also love the turndown service. We would leave momentarily and our room would be tidied up when we returned. Lastly, we got engaged on our trip in Sorrento and the staff wrote us a very nice note and treated us to complementary champagne in the bar.

It was a little older but that’s to be expected in an older city like Sorrento. Smaller units as well but again, to be expected.

Location is amazing, next to the ocean and a walking distance from the city. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Beachclub was outstanding.

Air conditioning at the room was not sufficient to cool the room down which made sleeping difficult. At the beach club no reservations were allowed but we saw staff reserving spots in the morning for some guests. Secondi Piatti at the restaurant was poor quality and the portion was too big.

The restaurants have a beautiful view. You can watch the sunset while having dinner. It’s spectacular! The pool and beach access have a bar, so that’s ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I didn’t like that they put 2 twin beds together to make it look like a queen bed. The middle part it’s uncomfortable. Also, it’s NOT all inclusive ONLY breakfast is. They shouldn’t call themselves All Inclusive.

Great views, but especially sunsets! They have a private dock with an elevator down that allows you to sunbathe and jump in the ocean. This allows great views of the cliffs. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We came on our honeymoon and they left us a celebratory dessert that was super sweet. We took a taxi in and out which was pricey but convenient to be dropped at the door. This eliminated any walks with luggage if we took public transportation. We would stay here in a heartbeat again!

The hotel is in a great location. Staff are exceptional. We have been to this hotel several times now, and one of the main reasons we keep going back is that the staff come across as one big happy family, and they make you feel at home. Big shout out to the pool lifeguard Peppe and the bar staff who looked after us so well, as well as all the other staff members from the front desk, restaurant and room chambermaids who were all very friendly and helpful and did a fantastic job. The location is superb, but the staff will make this holiday special for you.Treat them with respect, and they will all go that extra mile for you. Food in the hotel Blue Bistro restaurant is excellent and well worth a visit. The breakfast buffet has a wide range of treats to eat. I would highly recommend this hotel, and we will be going back at some point in the future.

It was perfect! The staff were amazing and very friendly. The hotel was decorated beautifully, the location was about a 10 min walk to the center but on a lovely safe street and it was nice to be away from all the tourists. The staff seemed to all love their jobs and if they didn’t it was not apparent. They were always welcoming.

Everything was excellent. On the water with excellent view of Mt Vesuvius. It has its own beach club. Breakfast was incredible, bed was comfortable. Short 12-15 min walk to the main square (Piazza Tasso). Concierge was so helpful before and during our stay to help us plan transfers, dinner reservations and excursions. I would definitely stay here again.

Our flights were delayed & re-routed to several countries. Arriving in Sorrento at the beautiful elegant Grand was well worth the hassle of getting to Sorrento. Perched on a cliff facing Mt Vesuvius was gorgeous. Staff made you feel like royalty. It's about a 10 minute brisk walk to town. Several hotels a bit closer but the prices increase the closer to town. You will not be disappointed with your stay!
