A lot to like. Our host was fantastic, room, breakfast, pool are great and the views are forever along the coast. He went out of his way, late afternoon, to make us some food after we arrived from a very long drive. Bed was comfy.

The road to the accommodation is steep, potholed, very narrow with 64 corners including 13 switch-backs in about 2kms up the hillside. If you drive well you will enjoy the challenge and the serene setting and coastal views at your destination are fascinating. If you are not a confident driver we would suggest an alternative is a good idea. If you drive well - you will love the views and experience.

the place is haven!! the way to rich the place is quite scary in the first ride, but in the second it looked much easier as we understood that it is not that bad. the place and the views around are incredible. I recommend this place to everyone who likes to be in haven.

The property was just beautiful!!! Our room was perfect! Spacious, clean with stunning Taormina and sea view with big terrace over looking into the swimming pool. Just perfect! Also the breakfast was delicious (specialy the croissants 👌🏻) as well as the area where the breakfast was served had an amazing view!!! It’s quiet a climb driving up there,but omg so worth it! Totally recommand to everyone and it’s the place we will come back for sure!

The entire property was lovley, the atmosphere ,the look of it. It was Very relaxing and pleasant to be around also the view from there is something very special about this place!

This is the second year in a row we’ve stayed at Il Casale di Caterina, and just like the first time, we were amazed. The place is absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views over the sea, the cliffs, Castelmola, Taormina, Giardini Naxos, and even Mount Etna. It’s the kind of place where you can sit for hours and never get tired of looking around. Our room was spotless, well-equipped with everything we needed, and even from the balcony we enjoyed a stunning view. The bar and pool area are wonderful, very well maintained, and the whole atmosphere is calm and relaxing. It’s pure joy to sit in the sun, enjoy the pool, and take in that incredible view. Breakfast was delicious and varied, served in a lovely spot that, again, offers the most amazing panorama. Our host, Konstantino, is truly a gem — kind, attentive, and always ready to help. He provided us with great tips on what to visit, where to eat, and made sure throughout our stay that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. It was a wonderful experience in a truly magical place. Even after coming here two years in a row, we already know we’d love to return again.

Honestly, the only thing we didn’t like was that we couldn’t stay longer — everything was just perfect.

The view from the hotel is fantastic - you see the whole Taormina at a glance. We were there at full moon, the night view was even more attractive. Another great view is at the Etna vulcano - if you are lucky enough as we were, you can even see the erruption. The banch near the parking lot is just the right place to have wine in the evening and enjoy the beautiful views.

The bar was closed on one evening what was a.pity. the jaccuzzi was hard to get :) some might find the road to the hotel difficult, but for us it was okay.

Lovely place nestled high above the sea with spectacular views of Taormina. Decent pool and pool deck. Very calm and quiet ..nice ambiance to it. The road up was not so bad at all...only a series of hairpin turns ( but note that you have to ensure you take the route the property tells you to as Google maps can lead you very (very!) wrong depending on your direction of travel...you must ensure you take the road going by the hospital!!).

The bathroom had a bit of a smell to it that made my wife uncomfortable...bit of sewer type smell to it. Also - in our room the wifi signal did not work (although it did work fine by the pool).

The property has the most amazing location perched on top of a hill overlooking Taormina with stunning views to Etna, the town and beaches below. It’s 10 / 15 minutes drive to easy parking for central (pedestrianised) Taormina and for all the facilities of Giardini Naxos. Taormina is very busy so we enjoyed this haven which has been thoughtfully designed for guests and provided such a welcoming, homely and peaceful experience. South Etna is about an hour away. The Manager and staff bent over backwards to welcome us and accommodated all our wishes. The pool, bar and jacuzzi area were difficult to leave and views spectacular - as was the terrace where the best breakfast we had in Sicily was served from. Our room was spacious and had a fridge and outdoor dining area on a shared terrace. There’s no denying that the road to reach the property was an adventure but is easy to get used to and was part of the charm. We have no hesitation in recommending Casale Di Caterina and would return in a heartbeat. (We took lots of photos and video as we wanted to show how lovely this place is but unfortunately only were able to upload 4 pics)

We had an amazing experience at this place! Every corner, from the breakfast area, bar, pool, and jacuzzi, to even the parking lot, offers breathtaking views. Whether you're relaxing or just passing by, the surrounding landscape leaves a lasting impression. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was simple yet delicious. The staff was fantastic—wonderful, hospitable, and friendly people. They were incredibly helpful, giving us great recommendations on what to visit, the best beaches to explore, and where to try authentic Sicilian food. I highly recommend staying here!

The room was very clean and big, we had a little studio with the kitchen and all the amenities. The staff were super nice, all the time checking with us if everything was ok and if we needed anything. The villa is very quiet, the views are stunning. It is a perfect spot for relaxing and chill. You need a car to get there, and it is a difficult road to go up and down, but you'll get used to it. It's worth it for the views 100% The jacuzzi was a nice touch, too. We definitely recommend this place, and we will come back! Thank you to all the staff from Casa di Caterina

Very nice place with great view! Great value for money in this area. Staff was friendly and pool area was very nice.

Room was not so clean and shower water sprayed everywhere in the bathroom. Would recommend to add a curtain or provide a water clearing stick. As mentioned in other reviews the road up can be tricky but it works fine after the first time. Breakfast can also easily be improved, e.g. with other bread than toast.
