The host, who also runs a restaurant below the room, was helpful and generous,. The room was large, clean and comfortable, the bathroom was large and new, plenty of hor water.. The location is good and the area felt safe. Breakfast was wonderful.

I had requester two twin beds but was given a double. They would not even give me an extra sheet. There was very little liquid soap in the shower (and not good quality) which ran out on our second night.

Location was good. Check in was easy through the nearby bar. Room was good and spacious. The breakfast was ok.

Diner was just two plates, two drinks, two sweets and two coffees. Even though they sound enough, we really missed having a salad or an appetizer. The server was not aware of what our halfboard included so we had to remove the apetizer we had chosen at the beginning. What we ate was ok. Another problem was that we had to eat at the back of the bar- restaurant, which was more of a storage room with tables in it and badly lit. Also they allowed many flower sellers (street vendors) inside the store, even let them reach at the very back where we were sitted, thus making us uncomfortable trying to dodgy sell us roses.

Beautiful room with a very comfortable bed. The welcome was warm and the food and choice at breakfast was fabulous. The location was great for access from the train station, we did use Google maps, but it was pretty straight forward.. The location was also good for the sights we wanted to visit.

The windows did not block the noise out, but we were so tired , we slept anyway, so no real issue. This is not a gripe, but the travel adaptors we had taken did not fit the sockets. We asked for help but did not receive it and went and bought our own . It needs to have three slim pins in a straight line and not two fatter pins.

The staff took our late arrival due to train delays in their stride and were welcoming and generous. The building is antique and lovely, but the room very modern and well-equipped. Comfortable room (when we discovered how the air-conditioning worked) although we did not manage to connect to the Wi-Fi. If we had been staying for more than one night we would have asked for help with that. There was a wide range of food for breakfast. Excellent location, about 10 minutes’ walk from both of the main rail stations and from the city centre.

Although the bathroom is not tiny, placing of amenities meant there was a danger of knocking yourself at various points. There was no plug in the basin so we were pleased we had our own with us.

The hosts were very nice, and offer a complementary drink in their lovely bar downstairs. They also have complementary breakfast with juices, fruit, toast, croissants. The beds we’re comfortable, and nicely decorated. They also offer a reduced price on lunches and dinner which were delicious! The bartender was great, and introduced me to my new favorite drink a Hugo Spritz.

Can’t say anything bad.

The room was large, clean, and had everything you could need for a one night stay. Staff was friendly and a welcome drink was offered. Location was very good and surprisingly quiet.

Not really a negative - still very appriecatied - but just a tip! The welcome drink is served with some french fries and a bite of pizza. So for being an italian aperivo it's of course very minimal. Anywhere you go for an aperitivo it would be way better - so get the prosecco but skip the food, that way you keep your belly empty for something more interesting later :)

A/C and character of building. Amazing cappuccino in cafe downstairs.

The owner notified me upon arrival that he was not including breakfast (although it was stated to be included on Booking app) because he said that I got “too good of a deal” through the app. Seems like that’s something he needs to work out with the company, not his guests.

Location was good. The room and bathroom were very clean. We felt very safe.

The WiFi was not good. The first night the WiFi worked ok. Slow but ok. The next morning was not able to connect through the end of the stay was not able to connect or stay connected for longer than a couple minutes.

The hotel is a gentle walk away from the centre of Tourin and provides an excellent base for the visitor. The staff are all pleasant and charming. The breakfast was a good start to the day with an adequate choice.

The hotel reception is in the busy bar on the ground floor and would benefit from a sign.

I stayed at Matteotti25 for one night with a friend. The accommodation is modern with top facilities within a beatuiful historic building, located about 10 mins walk to the centre and 20 mins to the Mole. Included with the booking, we received a lovely aperitivo and a delicious breakfast buffet. I can't thank the hosts enough: despite an error, which was entirely our fault, they went above and beyond to assist us and to welcome us. I would love to stay again and I can gladly recommend Matteotti25 to anyone visiting Torino.
