A grand hotel from a past era that stands up well today. The suites are enormous, as are the beds. All the room facilities are good for us, free wifi, kettle in the room, fresh water (and sparking) on tap. It is located near the main railway station and has easy access to everything we wanted to see in the city. The staff were friendly and super helpful.

The breakfast was a bit of disappointment. Not a lot of fresh fruit. Hot option was always scrambled eggs and a hot dog sausage - not always looking appetising. The bread rolls were a bit on the hard side. But there was a range of choices of various pastries, cold meats and cheeses. Very much a 5/10.

The location fabulous as close to Porta Nuova and also within walking distance of significant places of interest and a short walk to an excellent shopping area. Water machines providing cold water on our floor. Beautiful vestibule/waiting/sitting area. Our room was quite large with a table and four antique style chairs. Very comfortable and appealing to the eye in that sense.

No shelf space at all in the bathroom. Nowhere to put toiletries etc. The air conditioning was mediocre and insufficient and made the hot nights of our stay very uncomfortable. Our room had the red neon “Hotel” sign outside our window the light of which could not be blocked out. Because it was so hot at night, we needed to open the windows but that meant we had all the street noise as well as the neon light. Upgrading the air conditioning and providing shelf space and extra towel rail space in the bathroom would be helpful.

The staff was super friendly right from the entrance. The room was spaceous and clean. It really was that rustic type of interior which made us choose this hotel. We loved waking up in the room. The breakfast was just okay, but better than most other hotels in Italy. I would also like to point out the garage space they offer. We used this option. At first we thought it was a bit expensive but when we saw it, we realized why it costs that much. Their spaces are enclosed. You get a remote for the automatic door. This means that only other hotel guests can come near your car. It gives an extra feeling of safety. On top of that, the hotel's spaces are located right next to the pedestrian exit from the garage. This was just really really convenient. The location of the hotel was also perfection. We reached most pleaces on foot and had no issues getting from and to the hotel by car.

The only thing we disliked was the shower as it only had a shower had which cannot be moved. This was barely an inconvenience however.

Great hotel. Such a lovely historic building roght next to the train station and very close to the city center. The rooms are lovely, high ceilighs, nice balconies; a big bathroom and comfortable bed. It is very spacious and has this great historic vibe. Breakfast is continental and ok, although the breakfast area is quite small and crowded at times. They have a lot of antique stores in the outside portal that provide amazing vintage souvenirs botj for adulta and children alike. TORINO IS AN AMAZING CITY A MUST SEE.

The reception tried to give us an inferior room, diferent from the nice one we had booked for..that had a back-street view and quite dark. I had to go to the recetion and basicaly demand the room that i had booked for. It was already prepared for 3 guests so, contrary to what they said (not available or the pictures on booking are just “for show”) it was already set up. FYI, the room pictures on booking are EXACTLY why people book one room or the other.

Phenomenal hotel! I had a wonderful time and it caught me by surprise. The balcony was fantastic. I sat outside and enjoyed having a private terrace. The bed is extremely comfortable and I melted right into it. The sheets are clean, soft, and super comfortable. The shower - rainforest style - lots of space and great pressure. The room was immaculate and I enjoyed every minute. They also provide extra pillows and blankets in the armoire, a nice touch. Great AC and a nice widescreen TV. Room was super quiet. Breakfast two thumbs up. What a nice selection and abundance of all you could ask for. I would love to live in this hotel! It’s perfectly done and in a prime location near the train and all the museums and shops. I also took a long walk all along the river and it is magnificent - you can start and end right from the hotel. The staff are all top notch, professional, and truly provide excellent guest service. I will definitely come back to this hotel - a favorite.

Excellent location and close to really nice areas in Turin. We had a room for a week at front with balcony on to park and considering it was so close to station, it was very quiet. Breakfast was great and nice to have an outside area. Bed very comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. A good value hotel in excellent location.

Air con didn’t work but staff responded very quickly and provided 2 efficient fans within half an hour. Looking a bit tired in areas but this hotel has massive potential -ready for an update in places.

The hotel is really beautiful and very clean. The interior is comfy and pretty. There's a patio on the second floor where you can order drinks and it was just really tranquil. My room had a refrigerator and the bed was very comfy. The location is awesome - I took a Bus from the airport that dropped me off on the opposite side and it was like only a 2 minute walk from the hotel. The Porta Nuova station is also just across the street and it's right in the centro. There's a lot of options at breakfast, I wouldn't say it's anything extraordinary but overall it was very good. They also provide gluten free bread and pastries. The staff was very very welcoming and nice.

I arrived on a friday and since the windows aren't very thick I had to use ear plugs to sleep because it was very noisy outside. It was a bit unfortunate but I was able to sleep well with the earplugs. Also the whole building isn't very sound proof. I could hear the people in the room next to me get back to the hotel. My door sometimes rattled when someone closed theirs.

The property was very central at the hotel was spotlessly clean. We had a lovely spacious room with very comfortable beds. We also had a fridge in our room. We had an inside room which overlooked the middle of the hotel. I could probably have been a little bit lighter but was absolutely fine. The staff were incredibly helpful and gave us easy to follow directions to various different sites. The breakfast was more than adequate and the dining room area was spotlessly clean.

There was not a lot to comment on, but it would’ve been nice to have had a safe in our room , however the safe in the reception area was easily accessible at the staff were was that helpful. The only other thing is that The bath glass panel would’ve been better with a seal on as it was quite easy for the water to come under the edge when having a shower, other than that, nothing negative.

The location is great as it's within walking distance of most places of interest and shops. We didn't have to take public transport except when heading outside of Turin. The hotel is very well maintained and the staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very good with plenty of choices from cereal to Italian cold cuts, hot sausages and scrambled eggs, pastries, cakes, and fresh fruits. Best of all is the late night gelateria just round the corner.

I'm not very impressed with the room. It's very small and there's no place to put my clothes so I just kept them in my luggage bag.

Just a few steps from Porta Nuova railway station and 10-15m from the historic centre, this hotel is perfectly placed. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. My room was nicely furnished and the bed comfortable. Workng air conditioning, internal courtyard facing window so quiet. Staff very helpful and approachable. 2 lifts. Water dispenser in reception.

Water dispenser on 4th floor corridor not working. Fridge in room not working. No safe. Taps difficult to turn off and inclined to drip.
