The hotel is located in an excellent position, very close to the train station and to the bus station to go to the airport while, it is also close to the historical centre. Many restaurants/bars etc of all types can be found in less than 100m. An automatic machine selling water and refreshments is available in the hotel. The hotel personnel is friendly and helpful. The bathroom is clean and quite large with respect to the room area. The price was really very good with respect to other hotels of the same category.

The hotel is quite old and maybe new furniture is necessary.

There has been a balcony, TV and large enough shower. The location is central and there are many bars, restaurants, and super markets in the area. You can get on foot anywhere in the centre. There is train, Metro and Tram and plenty of places to visit and where to go out at night.

It is a pity there has not been a cafetière to boil water , with some tea bags and instant coffee for the choice of the guest. Regarding WIFI- it is so very often ruptured, and it is a shame for the people who need stable connection.

If you like slightly old fashioned, run down hotels, this is a great place for you. It's a charming place and the stuff is great: polite, nice and friendly. The location of hotel is great, surrounded by many places to eat and drink (specially in the evening) but rooms (at least the one I stayed in) are quiet anyway.

They promote the hotel as the one with parking but in fact they only have three places by the road which were occupied when I arrived (and it seems like it's often like that). There is a public garage in the same street, which the receptionist suggested, but it's a rip off: for a car they charge 30€ per night but since I came with a van they wanted 50€.

The hotel is in a generally good location, beside the train station and close to the city centre and parks. The hotel is not a 5 star hotel and doesn't pretend to be. But the rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and although the building is old it seems well kept. I would have no problem in recommending the hotel to others.

The wifi is terrible! Please get a faster more reliable wifi. The breakfast could be better, there is not a great selection on offer.

Location is at walkable distance from Porta Nuova train station and to centre. Staff is very friendly and useful. Possible to leave temporarily the luggage the day of the checkout.

Internet WiFi is not good at all (I already knew it from previous reviews), although that was not a big problem for our stay. Windows are not soundproof (some noise is coming from outside in the nighttime).

The hotel has a very central and convenient location (1 min from Porta Nuova) and great value for money, considering the very cost-effective rates! The bedroom and the bathroom were very clean with a comfy mattress and pillows and good-smelling towels. Luckily there was AC in the room as it was one of the hottest days of the year!

There was no balcony and the room was very small, but for the rate paid I think it's absolutely fair.

Location, close to the train station, underground, trams and buses. Plenty of restaurants, bars and coffee shops, walkable distance to many landmarks. The hotel is in an old but well maintained building which adds more character, most important very clean.

It'd do well with coffee making facilities.

I highly recommend this hotel: the location is good, the rooms are clean, but - most of all - the staff is very correct: I had a wonderful experience with them because I lost something valuable in my room and they were prompt in returning the item to me, after I left. Good people make the place good :)

This is a charming old world hotel. Excellent location.

We had the included breakfast. It was just o.k. but I'm glad they had the option. The refrigerator didn't work, which was unfortunate for us but we were able to put our sodas etc on the balcony. Nice size room and bathroom.

I liked the location which is nearest to the train station and the centre. The breakfast is more or less okay but it need some improvement to add more Varity. Room is better.

The wifi is very slow and I could not work my assignment from the room at night.
