I highly recommend staying at Turin Palace Hotel. It is a 10 star hotel with exceptional customer service. The location is perfect, across the street from the Porto nova train station walking distance to Piazza Castello,Piazza San Carlos, Po River and city Center. I stayed at Turin Palace the week of FISM 2025. The staff were so polite, courteous, and so accommodating to my family needs, helping with the taxis, restaurant reservations, and directions to the historical sites, palaces and museums. I appreciated the smiling faces and happy greetings every morning from the hotel staff. The breakfast was delicious, fresh fruit, pastries, croissants, cheeses, eggs, sausage, prosciutto bacon, yogurt, fresh juice, coffee, and cappuccino - excellent. I felt welcome and comfortable at Turin Palace and would definitely return. It was the best hotel that I stayed at during my nine day visit in Italy.

The hotel is situated at the Porta Nuova. The location is close to the historic center and offers good connections by public transport and taxi availability. The hotel is in very good conditions. Our room had a free-of-charge, daily refilled mini bar and a good air conditioning. With 30 degree at night that was a clear plus. Our room was also comparably quite, with very limited noise from the tram lines. The breakfast was very good, the staff very friendly and helpful. In all, a very enjoyable stay.

The vincinity of the railway station Porto Nuova is a bit critical at night. The noise and vibrations of tthe trams can be heard and felt in the frontside rooms. While both points are not directly related to the hotel, they slightly reduce the excellent stay.

The hotel is decorated to such a high standard, and no matter which area of the hotel you are in, the fixtures and fittings are top quality. The rooms are really lovely with your own dressing room and sumptuous bathrooms. The staff are all amazing and nothing is too much trouble for them. The breakfast is brilliant with a wide variety of buffet food, and it's made even better by the stunning room we ate in. Fantastic location right opposite the main station, but this didn't mean it was noisy. It was fairly quiet except the light rumble of a passing tram. An overall wonderful stay and would definitely highly recommend it.

If we had to find a negative it would be that we'd prefer the air conditioning to be slightly cooler in the room.

The room was spacious and quiet (as I requested), the bathroom was wonderful, the water in the small refrigerator was free, the lighting was great, the location was across the street from the station and the underground parking garage. It was easy to walk to great restaurants and all major attractions in the city, except for the automobile museum, which was worth the visit. The breakfast was in a large, beautiful room and was fabulous, the most varied, ample, and delicious of our trip.

The room was spacious, and the bathroom was a good size. Everything was spotlessly clean. The staff were extremely friendly and always ready to help. Breakfast was excellent. Arriving by car is very easy – you can park right in front of the hotel to unload your luggage.

On the downside, the Porta Nuova garage is extremely expensive (they charge until midnight, and after midnight it counts as a new day – so if you stay one night, you actually pay for two days). A useful tip: about a 10-minute walk away there is a garage called Parcheggio Galileo Ferraris, which costs about a third of the price and charges by 24-hour periods.

The room was bright and very spacious and had a large terrace. Bed was very comfortable. The bathroom clean and well equipped. Breakfast was fabulous although on the final day we had to leave at 7am and only had access to a very basic breakfast. Spa was lovely. Roof terrace and bar was great. All staff were very friendly and helpful.

There were no glasses in the bedroom just paper cups, despite having a complimentary minibar, which I found surprising. Our prebooked meal on the roof terrace was moved to a rather drab and unpopulated dining room as we were told rain was expected. It didn't rain. We cancelled the meal booking and had a nice bar meal on the terrace instead. Would have liked a fuller early breakfast.

This hotel is outstanding in every way. The staff in all areas, from housekeeping to reception, to the breakfast service to the hotel lobby bar were all incredibly helpful, professional, friendly and all took pride in delivering outstanding service. Because we were booking the hotel in January, we wanted somewhere cozy, inviting, warm and comfortable. This hotel is truly all that and more. It's beautiful and elegant, and in a great location. It is literally across from one of the two main train stations and you'd never know it. We faced the station on the 5th floor and didn't hear the trams or traffic going by, ever. When we booked, our room was described as a "large double" but it turned out to be a king. Not sure if we were upgraded or that's how they describe a King but we were very pleasantly surprised. Best aperol spritz I've ever had was at the hotel lobby bar. Served with nuts, crackers and olives (free of charge) every evening. And the breakfast is included and was the best breakfast we've ever had at any hotel, ever. From pastries to bacon and eggs, salmon, yogurt, meats, fresh fruit, cheeses, pancakes: it had it all. You won't be disappointed!

If I had to make a suggestion, it would be to open the spa in the morning for 3 hours as well as the evening. It was only open 5-9:00pm (or thereabouts) and you have to pre-book. The Spa is beautiful and definitely worth the $20 euros but the hours made it a a bit tricky to fit into our day.

Breakfast was very good. There were plenty of options all of excellent quality. The restaurant was also excellent. The bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds. There is a large public space with a bar area so you are not confined to your room. Good weather permitting, you can also sit in the roof garden and enjoy the jasmine blossom and fabulous views. The hotel is conveniently located at the side of the main station.

I asked for tea one morning instead of the usual excellent coffee. The obliging staff brought a pot of hot water and a tea bag. I put this down to cultural differences!!! Everything else was perfect

The staff are exceptional! Every single one of them. So helpful and always with a smile. We are well travelled and have stayed in some great hotels around the world but this is right up there and should be a 5 star. The decor is crisp and calming. The bed and bedding super comfie. We were fortunate to have a balcony and left the window doors ajar at night. You could hear the trains early in the morning but it didn’t bother us. If the doors were closed tight with AC on it would probably be quieter.

It’s a bit of a walk to the centre and there were a few dodgy people hanging about around the station. Not the hotels issue of course.

I travel extensively for work and stay at upscale hotels a lot, so when it came time to visit Turin with my daughter, I spent a long time researching a place to stay. Turin Palace Hotel far exceeded my expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly and always so helpful. Our room was massive (we got the room with the balcony) and so comfortable. The breakfast selection every morning was expansive and delicious. I took advantage of the wellness spa and enjoyed 1.5 hours of hot tubs, saunas and cold plunges all to myself. The wellness spa is usually 20 euros for 1.5 hours but mine was complimentary with my room, however, I would've paid twice that to do it - so peaceful! The hotel is right across from the main train station so there was always a taxi just feet away which was so convenient. The rooftop terrace was "closed" for the season but you could still go up there and enjoy the view of the city and the Alps. I caught the sunrise every morning :) If you are looking for a perfect hotel for your visit to Turin, then don't hesitate in booking this wonderful little gem.
