We had a wonderful experience at this hotel in Venice! The location is absolutely perfect – right next to a waterbus stop, which made it super easy to get to and from the airport and to explore the surrounding islands. It’s also just a 10-minute walk from the city center, which was incredibly convenient. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Our room was lovely, with a beautiful view of the water – truly unforgettable! Breakfast was decent, and the coffee was absolutely fantastic – a great way to start the day. We definitely plan to come back again. Highly recommended!

My partner and I spent two nights at this hotel and it was excellent. The staff were very friendly and attentive. It is a small but very cozy hotel. The location could not be better. There is water taxi directly from the airport and it stops right in front of the hotel. The breakfast was wonderful and was delivered to the room, no extra charge, exceptional. You have the breakfast menu to choose what you want the day before, everything was super organized. Our room number 7 had two windows with a sea view. Beautiful! I recommend this hotel! Thanks to all the staff!

Right at the Fondamente C and D vaporetto stops, so super convenient from the station and no dragging suitcases around Venice. Rooms were Venetian charming, but also clean and neat with comfy beds. And the windows are very soundproof. We faced the lagoon with the vaporetto stop right outside our window and people coming and going, and we never heard any noise. You’re able to choose your breakfast and coffee choices the night before and eat downstairs in the small dining room or have it delivered to your room. And the staff was extremely nice and helpful.

There’s nothing we didn’t like. We would absolutely stay there again.

Hotel Vecellio is a gem off the beaten path in a quaint neighborhood of Cannaregio. The room is tastefully decorated; small but comfortable with all essentials. We have a view of the lagoon from one of the windows. We love the location of Hotel Vecellio as Vaporetto station is just a few steps away. Is convenient for walking to different touristy spots as well. The staff is very friendly and welcomed us with espresso and pistachio croissant. She waived our city tax since we arrived a day late due to a missed connecting flight. We highly recommend Hotel Vecellio!

The hotel is on the Fondamente Nove which has several bus stops just steps away. The location is also perfect for walking to the main sites. Eliza was an excellent hostess, and I was especially appreciative of the attentive and helpful staff, the day that I was feeling unwell. The daily breakfast, which you can opt to take in your room, was also a nice plus. The room was always clean, and the size was fine for me, especially as a solo traveller.

The shower stall is quite small, but that's pretty standard for Europe.

The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were ever so helpful and friendly, I don't think you could ask for a better place to stay in Venice, for the price I paid too it was exceptional. Venice is quite small too, so its a 10ish minute walk to Rialto Bridge, also with the vaporetto stations right outside the hotel is so convienient. The breakfast in the morning was perfect and just what you needed for the morning. I was really happy with my stay and how welcome I felt as soon as I got there. Thank you for having me.

Genuienly can't think of anything that I didn't like.

The room had a lot of Venetian characters. It overlooked the lagoon but could not hear outside at all. The bed was exceptionally comfy. The bathroom was very small but sufficient for what you needed. There was free water in the fridge and free coffee pods for machine. Two hairdryers. We ordered breakfast in our room, which was lovely. The staff were very friendly and made our stay for my husband’s birthday extra special.

Air conditioning could have been a little colder and a little more effective but it was exceptionally hot - just glad we had some!

For me the location was out of this world.On the lagoon with Seaview from the room.Literally front door of hotel is opposite the vaporetto stop of fondamente nove.It’s a 15-20 minute walk to st marks square.Good restaurants next door.Staff are very friendly,breakfast is very good giving the place a very homely feeling.Elisa made us feel very welcome on arrival.

The air con was switched to heating so couldn’t be switched back to cooling had to open windows when hot and got a bit noisy sometimes but was given a fan which proved adequate in October.Shower cubicle quite small.

I enjoyed my stay in the hotel a lot. The staff are friendly,kind and always willing to help. They greet you with a smile and do their best to make your stay enjoyable. A delicious breakfast is served to the room every morning. You can even decide what and when you would like to have it. The room ( no 7) overlooks the lagoon .It is mesmerising and waking up with such a view makes your stay unforgettable. The staff take care of the room every day. The bed is made and the bin is emptied. The location of the hotel is perfect. It is within walking distance to main tourist attractions. There is also a water bus stop nearby so you can easily get to Piazzale Roma and other destinations. I strongly recommend Hotel Vecellio Venice on the Lagoon.
