Breakfast was continental. It was ok but could have provided some fruit. Some restaurants just around the corner served breakfast if you desired more. Coffee, water and alcoholic beverages was readily available in his cozy decorated veranda. It would have been nice if ice was available. Francesco provided nice beach towels for a small price and deposit to take to Blue Moon Beach across the road. He also provided very nice seafood restaurants to go to and taxi service. Francesco was a wonderful host and very helpful! I highly recommend his establishment!

Would have been nice to have a small refrigerator in our room, iron and small ironing board, robes. Laundry service not available at Le Serre del Lido but there was a shop a short distance away. They do not provide fast service however, they can take from 3-4 days for a small amount of clothing. I found another shop but it was 2.3 Kms away that provided the service for about 2 1/2 days. The taxi service is available and response however they don't use WhatsApp and had to resort to explain where to pick us up by Google Map the location and used the audio Italian pronunciation. Scooters and bicycles for rent are readily available and public busses for getting around the island.

After being on a cruise ship for 12 days, serre de Lido was a welcome change. The rooms super clean, Francesco (the owner) very helpful and welcoming. The gardens relaxing and it was a pleasure to be able to sit outside. When we arrived it was pouring rain and he picked us up at the waterbus station! The location is excellent with the beach across the road and transportation to Venice easily walkable. Some of the most exclusive hotels are nearby. I booked this hotel from the great reviews and I totally agree with the high ratings. We stayed here for 4 nights completely comfortable and grateful to be in such a lovely place.

Large property with Three units,very private with beach access across the street.The town of Lido is much like San Marco with canals and shops,restaurants in short walking distance.Water Taxi is five minute walk.Francesco was the highlight of staying there,so cheerful and helpful.When you go on the water taxi,don’t miss San Marco,my opinion is the best spot,you’ll see when you get there.I highly recommend this hotel with lots of parking.

Venice is surrounded by water and there are mosquito’s so bring some repellent.They didn’t bother me.

Everything was excellent- from very nice location to super comfortable room, but I would like to especially mention the person who worked there (he is owner or manager, I am not sure, but it is not important). He sent me messages to be sure I am safe and know how to come there. When I arrived, it appeared he was ready to answer any my questions til the end of the time if it is needed:) Charming and very hospitable, he made my nice staying even better and I want to especially thank him for that.

The room was very clean, cosy and quiet. Outside the room, there was a spacious green garden. The host was very attentive and caring, and offered us a great amount of snacks and teas in the room. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for quiet and quality accommodations when visiting Venice.

It's located on Lido, which requires water transportation to access. However it's close to the station, so it wasn't that much of an inconvenience for us.

The rooms are exquisite: clean, smell nice, comfortable, climate controlled... Furthermore the location couldn't be better: it is right next to the beach. The owner is a very kind man who doesn't hesitate to help you and maje yourself feel at home.

Sadly the owner doens't organise a breakfast since covid. There are however small bites in the rooms and there's a minifridge with drinks available.

Le Serre del Lido is a very charming Hotel on a beautiful and spacious garden property which used to be the nursery supplying flowers for Lido's Hotels. The location is perfect - Restaurants, Cafés and Bars and the boat stop are just a few minutes by foot, and the beach is right across the street. The owner, Francesco, was more than friendly and gave us the best advice regarding good food and cool things to do off the trodden paths. We will be coming back!

The location is perfectly in the middle between Main Street with restaurants and free beach. Besides when you go to beach you’ll definitely pass by the red bus cafe that offers dishes with local taste. The rooms are in a very quiet and cosy place.

My best friend and I were lucky to stay at this wonderful place. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated, and the garden and house were simply magical — so peaceful and serene. Francesco, the host, was incredibly helpful, friendly, and kind. If I return to Lido, I will definitely stay here again!

Everything. It is an amazing gem on the Lido. You can do beach days and take time to go to Venice as well. The location is very good. Just cross the road & a minute walk to the beach. if you don't want to pay to stay on the private then 3 minutes walk on the shore line takes you to public free beach. There are a very few places I have stayed where I felt like part of a family. But this was so from arriving to leaving. Amazing.
