Great location, great restaurants on site with happy hrs!

It’s just a little dingy…it’s clean but one of the older properties with older plumbing etc. I think tough to keep crisp/clean but overall a fun time! We had a junior suite which was great, a little odd the placement of the bathroom & public bathroom flusher.

The room was spacious. I like the location. It's close enough to Ocean Dr if you want to take a 15-20min walk. Several good options and certainly located in walking distance to tour pickup locations and shopping at Lincoln. We loveddd the tacos @ Taco Taco. Dining is right outside your door with three cuisines to chose from! There were 3 of 5 staff that were great! One just seemed so bothered. Great pricing and deposit option for the location. I would definitely stay again but would like the option to choose from the buildings because I expected to stay in the Catalina not the adjacent building. We also liked that our request for cleaning was done well. Kudos to the cleaner. We appreciated that and it smelled lovely 😍

No washcloths in the room, we had to walk over to The Catalina msin desk. We stayed in the Dorset Building. Upon arrival the toilet paper holder was broken so our roll fell off, but we informed the front desk immediately so no issues arose with incidentals. We had great food and to go order, but no microwave on the property according to front desk. Several scratches and lifted tiles on the woodlike floors. But good thing it wasn't that severe but definitely worth sharing for improvement.

Great location. Very close to restaurants and beach. Although so close to the road, it was still quiet at night. Bed was very comfortable. Lots of extras in the room… Iron and ironing board, nips and snacks, a blow dryer, and updated furniture. Although we didn’t get a chance to use it, due to the rain, there is a nice little rooftop pool with tons of lounging areas where it would be fun to meet new people while hanging out.

Volume on the TV didn’t work, so we were unable to watch any shows we wanted. Construction going on outside our room at 9 AM on a Sat. but we were already up, so it didn’t matter to us. Late sleepers may have a problem with that.

Great central location. Pool on roof top of hotel next door which guests could use. Hotel located right outside bus stop to airport & other places as well as trolley buses. Good restaurants right outside the door.

Lady checking us was not very friendly and hard to understand her Spanish/English accent. But other staff were friendly. No coffee making machine in room, no pool towels were available when needed and 2nd room key not available. They don't allow you to leave your luggage for early/late check in, bit there is a lounge and outdoor area where you can wait.

I've stayed here many times and always booked a suite (junior and king) usually my room is always a "suite". This time, I don't know if they had overbooked or couldn't accommodate me and didn't want to say. But it was a dressed up regular size room not comparable to their actual suites. When I address the front desk about it, they dismissed me and told me it's a suite and that's the only 1 available.

We were there for less than 24 hours. They had one rooms ready early, per our request. Front desk staff were very helpful and personable. Room was clean and comfortable.

I didn't like the setup where the vanity and shower were open to the room. There was also nowhere but the bed that was available to open a large suitcase (the one surface that might have worked had a little informational sign stuck on the top preventing this). NOT property related, but we had young teenagers throwing rocks at our group, and an Ausie group along the street a couple of blocks south. There didn't seem to be security around anywhere. That's a location issue for sure, but South Beach Miami shouldn't have these issues!!

It was super clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Also the whole staff were very kind and helpful at any time.

The room I was staying at was right beside some storage garage from the restaurant of tacos right beside the hotel and at 7am every morning we had a lot of noise thanks to their trucks pulling up every day.

I like how accommodating they were especially Giselle and I think the managers name was marselle Marcelino. He was the best I lost my shoes in the trash HE GOT THEM! I lost my debit card HE CAME TO MY ROOM to return it.

That loud music coming from Bristo the first night into the morning was crazy HOWEver My room was immediately changed and I think upgraded no charge

I liked that I was able to pull my vehicle up to the hotel off of the street. I liked that the check in staff were very informative about the hotels experiences and directions for and to everything. I liked the atmosphere of both restaurants and all lounge areas and that they were kept clean. I liked how accommodating the room was to my needs and comfortable the beds and towels were. I loved the bathroom shower, it was a very cool design. The staff were all friendly and helpful. There's a lot to like, good time, I'll be back. 👍

The pool at Taco Taco looked a bit cloudy so I stuck with the one at Maxine's. Also there were a bunch of these little tiny bugs barley visible crawling in the black table , I think the were coming from behind the TV? Not really a bother to the trip but could be an issue if goes unchecked. 👍
