I had a pleasant stay at Idea Hotel Milano Malpensa, as the interior and room conditions met my expectations. However, the personnel, especially the shuttle driver, truly exceeded my expectations. After a long trip to Malpensa, I was so exhausted that I accidentally left my passport at the reception. I only realized this once I reached the luggage drop-off desk, which was incredibly stressful. I struggled to find the hotel's correct phone number. However, I managed to contact the shuttle driver, who was extremely eager to help. He rushed back to the hotel, checked my room, and found my passport at the reception desk. Within five minutes, he was back at the airport with my documents, allowing me to catch my flight successfully. I was in a hurry and missed the opportunity to express my gratitude to this gentleman. If this feedback reaches the hotel administration, please convey my heartfelt thanks to the man who saved me that day.

I had a seamless experience from arrival to departure. Following the instructions to find the shuttle bus at Terminal 1 (Exit 5), I found it conveniently waiting right outside. The driver kindly assisted me with my luggage, and the timing was perfect. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, from the receptionist at check-in to the breakfast team and check-out staff. The room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and the hotel perfectly met my needs. I needed a brief overnight stay after landing in Milan before heading back to the airport the next morning to catch a train to Switzerland, and this stay provided exactly that. For a quick transit stay, this hotel is an excellent choice. It’s just 5 minutes from the airport, with a convenient shuttle service available for €5 per trip (€10 round trip), payable directly to the driver, even by card. Additionally, WiFi connectivity was effortless, with no complicated login process. Highly recommend.

The color scheme in the room (green) might not be the most comfortable choice, making it appear less attractive in photos. However, as mentioned, the room itself was very convenient and impeccably clean. A minor inconvenience: there were two little bottles of water (sparkling and still) in the fridge, which I assumed were complimentary. It was only at check-out that I learned they were chargeable at €2 each, totaling €4.

Convenient location close to the airport. You can take the airport shuttle for free and then walk from the bus stop, or you can use hotel shuttle for 5 EUR per person. You can't really walk there, eventhough on the map it doesn't seem far. Room was spacious, beds comfortable, equipped with all you need. We much appreciated breakfast starting from 5 am, which had very good selection of food.

Windows are not sound proof so you can hear airplanes and near church bell till midnight.

The hotel offers an airport shuttle for 5€, which is nice. But there is a free shuttle, the bus stop is 5-10min away. We learnt about it to late, but maybe somebody finds it useful:)

After reading many reviews about this hotel which were not too flattering I arrived there in some trepidation. However I must say it was much better than I had expected. I caught the free airport shuttle bus from T1 to Case Nuove (which is half way between T1 and T2) and then walked 10 minutes to the hotel which is right by a pleasant old village with a cute church. The hotel is large, bright and modern and the staff all seemed friendly and helpful. I checked in quickly and went to my room which was also bright and airy and a good size with 2 fairly comfy double beds. The bathroom was nice and large and modern with a great shower too. The room had a fridge and free bottled water but a kettle and tea/coffee would have been nice. I had a very good sleep and had breakfast which was extra but was actually good value with a good choice selection. I then got the hotel's own shuttle van to T2 (which I pre-booked the night before) and I thought 5 euros wasn't too high a charge. I paid half as much for this hotel as I would have paid for a hotel actually right outside T2 so I thought it was very good value for money.

The bedroom was a little dated but wasn't badly furnished. The hotel shuttle van isn't huge (it seats around 15 I recall) and the demand seems quite high and it operates only every 30 minutes. But if you give yourself enough time and it is full, you can walk within 10 minutes from the hotel to the free airport shuttle bus (the stop is called Case Nuove) which runs around every 15 minutes and arrive at T2 within 3-4 minutes.

Good position for Malpensa Airport, and nice selection of cakes for breakfast (starting at 5 am). Instead of using the hotel shuttle, you can reach the terminals with the free airport shuttle bus running every 20 minutes from the Case Nuove stop (10 minutes away from the hotel by foot).

Close to airport - about 30min walk though no clear footpaths. Good continental breakfast with various food options. Room was clean and all that was required for an overnight stay for an early flight. Ran shuttle to airport in morning which cost €5. There is a nearby free shuttle that runs between Terminal 1 and 2 though this is about 10min walk from the hotel so paying for convenience.

There wasn't an ATM on the premises so make sure to get cash out before you leave the airport if you are just transferring through MXP.

Breakfast was very good and extremely varied, the fresh coffee made by staff was a nice touch. The hotel is in a great location for the airport.

When we got to the airport we followed the instructions sent by the hotel for the shuttle service… the instructions were good but the phone number i rang never got answered so we eventually had to pay for a taxi .

Shower was great. The restaurant was good value. The breakfast was outstanding and what was exceptional was you could have breakfast at 5am.

Room was a bit tired. The shuttle was welcome but 5 euros each way per person can work out a little dear for families. What is not said is that a 10 minute walk away there is a free bus to the airport every 15 minutes during the day which I used. Be warned iots quick to get to the airport but around 45 minutes to get back.

Staff were very welcoming upon my arrival and answered my emails regarding times, arrival etc. promptly. I did not have a phone so unfortunately could not get shuttle to hotel and had to pay 20 euro for taxi! I did take the shuttle in the morning and it was very efficient and dropped passengers at Terminal doors. I did not have breakfast as it was too early. I left Hotel at 5.15am I did have dinner the night before in Hotel, it was very good and also good value for money spent.

There is not anything negative to say.
