My partner and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Radisson Blu to celebrate our anniversary, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, the level of service and attention to detail exceeded our expectations, making our stay truly memorable. One of the standout aspects of our stay was the service provided by Hamdi. When our child fell ill during the night, Hamdi went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, offering assistance and showing genuine care and concern. This level of service is something we will not forget. The early check-in was a lifesaver, allowing us to get some much-needed rest after a long journey. It set the tone for the rest of our stay, where every detail was thoughtfully managed. The front desk manager, Kaye, welcomed us warmly, making us feel right at home. We were delighted to find that our room had been upgraded. It was spacious, impeccably clean, and provided the perfect sanctuary during our stay. Housekeeping was prompt and efficient, ensuring our room remained spotless throughout our stay. The hotel's amenities further enhanced our experience. The breakfast buffet offered a fantastic spread with something for everyone, catering to all tastes. We also enjoyed spending time at the swimming pool, which was clean and well-maintained—a perfect spot to unwind. In the evenings, we indulged in some drinks at the bar downstairs, and I must say, the cocktails were brilliant. The bartender’s expertise and creativity were evident in every sip. Additionally, the concierge team was incredibly helpful, assisting us with our bags and arranging transport for us effortlessly. The front desk staff also played a crucial role in making our stay special, offering excellent restaurant recommendations that added to our overall experience. Their local knowledge and willingness to help made exploring the area even more enjoyable.

The central location close to the harbour was excellent. Room was very nice and the bed was really comfortable and had all the amenities. The check in was fast and efficient and your concierge gentlemen were more than helpful on all occasions during our three days. Having water and little snacks in the lobby was a pleasant surprise. Having the use of a pool and hot tub was enjoyable!

The hot tub was difficult to get in and out of as there was only one deep step. Help would be needed to get out if you were elderly or physically impaired. The lounge and food service was a bit of a disappointment. There seemed to be a shortage of staff. One or two servers in the lounge area when it was at full capacity was inadequate. The server we had was doing her best, but it was impossible for her to handle so many tables during the evening rush. Our last morning , coffee and toast took 45 minutes and I had to ask for the bill twice. We found most of the food we ordered to be really delicious, though a bit on the expensive side. Our last evening I ordered a crab linguine special which I don’t recommend. Undercooked, tasteless, and way too many capers thrown in.

Great location, very nice room, reasonable tariff.

The one and only coffee machine at breakfast kept needing staff attention. Also, insufficient for the number of guests My suggestion: is to have at least 2 machines operating. Somethibg to bear in mind, construction work is happening across and besides the hotel.

Excellent location - 10+ min walk to harbour and botanic gardens. EZY Mart across road. Bathroom was spacious and ample amenities provided. Had a gym and pool although we didn’t use. Had a balcony we could open doors for fresh air! Comfy beds and pillows

Ongoing construction noise on the O’Connell street side - but I used my good ear plugs so wasn’t an issue. Room was not that spacious but sufficient. Also the concierge staff were a bit pushy about taking luggage from us - if you don’t want to tip, then just hold onto your own luggage and take it up yourself. We also had to wait 15 mins for them to bring it up… I know this concierge tipping culture is the norm in America, but it really threw me and I’m Australian.

We had booked this when it was Radisson as we have membership there só were disappointed to see it had changed. Booked Executive room to use their Lounge. Food there was excellent but strange layout.

We wanted to extend by one night and it was cheaper to book through booking.com than directly with the hotel. Made to feel quite uncomfortable about it. They finally agreed to let us stay in the same room without use of Exec Lounge which was fine by us. Can’t quite put my finger on why it’s just ok. Another guest we got talking to is changing loyalty as used Radisson for years and feels disappointed with Paradox

The hotel is in an awesome location, surrounded by everything the CBD has to offer, but on a quieter street that helps with the feel of the hotel being secluded. The historic building is also fantastic to look at, and photograph if that's your thing. An excellent bar, and fantastic staff serving in it was a real highlight. Friendly, professional and a credit to themselves and Radisson Blu. The rooms were spacious, and the beds super comfy. The rain falling outside made it super difficult to venture out from such comfort! A generous buffet breakfast helped start each day, and a very good take away coffee helped with those first few steps outside.

My minor gripe, which I believe came to to staff inattention was that I booked an indulgence package (Champagne, chocolate strawberries etc). This, ideally, should've been done prior to check in. For example, being told our 'room would be ready very shortly' and to take a seat in the bar... Instead after checking in, upon entering the room, nothing had been arranged. We were contacted 20 minutes later by house keeping, and they sent it up. The indulgence and romance is somewhat diluted when the staff arrive, leave a cling wrapped plate of strawbs, with no champagne glasses, and ask if we wanted them to sprinkle the rose petals, while we are standing there..... Not quite the desired effect, and something that can be improved upon with attention to detail by staff.

Reflecting on my experience, I have no hesitation in proclaiming that I would unequivocally choose to stay at Radisson Blu Sydney again. This stay was nothing short of outstanding, and the blend of luxurious accommodations, unbeatable location, and attentive service make it a definitive choice for any traveler seeking a remarkable stay in the heart of Sydney. Departing with fond memories and a desire to return, I am confident in recommending the Radisson Blu to those seeking an unforgettable experience in this vibrant city.

The hotel is located close to many of Sydney’s principal tourist destinations and central to the CBD. Trains, metro and the light rail are all within a few minutes walk-offering access across the city. The staff are excellent , the rooms are comfortable, contemporary and clean and our accommodation came with breakfast and access to the 10th floor business lounge which was fantastic.

Nothing significant except that a scaffold has been erected around a part of the building which I understand is to protect pedestrians from the possibility of parts of the building facade falling due to vibration from nearby metro station construction activities. Unfortunately this is quite ugly-and obscures the beautiful architecture of the hotel . Hopefully this is only temporary.

Downstairs breakfast room was very poor - very limited food compared to main breakfast room, missing bowls, jams etc as staff not available to replace them (although I asked the staff), only 2 staff who were generally not available as they were picking up eggs and coffees for people as these were not available in this room. Very disappointing so we refused to be sent there after the first day - the main breakfast is good.
