Superb location with plenty of F&B including bars within 500m walking distance.

The bathroom is modern but very small, not practical for 2 persons' usage. Parking belongs to shopping mall, no dedicated area for hotel guests.

From the moment we walked into The accommodation the place felt welcoming. You hope on a lift to the 7th Floor to Reception. we where greeted by a great smiling member of staff Amanda. We where running early but Amanda said our room was ready. The room was very well appointed, with everything needed for a great stay. The bed was comfortable, the WiFi is fast, and the shower clean with fluffy towels. I really enjoy they have two sorts of pillows, one firm, the other soft, and they are marked. The rooms are quite, no outside noise at all. All staff are very friendly and accommodating. The buffet breakfast has a very good range of foods and different dishes are changed daily. We enjoyed our stay.

Annexed to Katong Square and a stone’s throw from i12 Mall and a short walk to Parkway Parade mall, Holiday Inn Express Katong has a great East Coast location. The hotel is modern and clean. Buffet breakfast included in the room rate was fine and WiFi speedy and the room had lots of device charging points including USB sockets. A nice touch was the fresh orange juice machine and the StarBucks Coffee machine at the lobby level. Our family had two rooms and stayed for 8 nights. Our request for adjoining rooms with a double bed in one and twin singles in the other was honoured. We thought the staff were efficient and friendly during the stay. Shower pressure was fantastic and water bottles provided daily. We were located on a “Quiet Floor” and it was indeed quiet, even during typical peak people movement hours in the morning and evening. GRAB can pick you up and drop you off at the hotel entrance which is handy during Singapore’s frequent thunder storms!

Hard to find fault with the hotel, but if pressed would say the rooms are quite small and the “firm” pillows were not firm at all. But in sum, this hotel is outstanding value for money; far better value than the Indigo hotel next door which is owned by the same group (IHG) but is far pricier with slightly larger rooms and breakfast extra.

The location was convenient. It was close to the MRT and bus stop. The breakfast was very good.

I wish there was a pool. The staff person at the front desk didn't give us the correct instructions to catch the bus for the airport and we almost missed our flight. She told us to get on the wrong side of the road and we spent 1 1/2 hours on the bus.

The hotel is near many fnb outlets and retail shops. The staff at reception were all very friendly, courteous and helpful.

Access to the lobby is rather difficult for mobility restricted guest like myself. I could not get anyone down to assist with my luggage and wheel chair. The taxi driver did not help.

A perfectly practical hotel. Ideally located next to an MRT station. A high quality , varied breakfast offer. Comfortable , clean rooms . Pleasant , knowledgeable staff. Not luxury but does what it says on the tin.

Location was great n staff very accommodating

Hotel housekeeping needs to pay attention to details. Our room did not have a safe n was installed upon request. Had only one dressing gown. Toilet seat cover loose needs fixing. Small things like these can make a difference.

The location of the hotel is great,it takes only 5 minutes to go to the MRT station from the hotel,so it’s convenient to go to the downtown of Singapore.

The location was a 7 min (mostly indoor AC) walk to Marine Parade MRT, and 12 from the Parkway parade mall. It's close to several other shopping centres, a major hawker market and the East Coast state park beach. The shopping arcade below had some excellent restaurants too. Breakfast was very good for a Holiday inn express. Housekeeping was excellent, check in was quick, and the hotel was very clean overall. Room amenities were good.

The location was away from the city centre, although quickly accessible by MRT and buses. The room was small as expected. The bathroom had a single door design making it awkward to use. The breakfast got very busy as the hotel has 300 rooms.

Quiet and comfortable for a stopover during a long trip. Handy to both city attractions and airport.
