We have stayed at Hotel Clio Court Hakata a few times and always love it. This booking, there was only the larger newly renovated family room available. it was beautiful and huge! Probably close to 1000 square feet...it had a living room, a large bedroom with extra floor space for futon, a huge shower/furo style bath, lots of closet space and a massage chair. Comfortably can fit 4 people. Location was perfect, few steps away from Hakata station. We will always stay here when we visit Fukuoka.

Small dislike... there were no hooks or towel racks in the bathroom. The price was a little high but for the newly renovated larger family room, it was worth it.

Superbly convenient location. Just a short walk to Hakata Station. Spacious room with more than enough space to open up two big luggage. Polite and Helpful Front Desk, Housekeeping & Breakfast Lounge staff. Nice breakfast with a good spread of foods and drinks. The braised pork served was especially yummy. Helped to store our big bags in the hotel when we travelled out of Hakata for a few days and one of the front desk staff recognised us and he welcomed us back warmly when we returned to stay at the hotel again after our side trip. It was so nice to stay at a hotel where the staff served with such warm hospitality.

The room was quite dim and the furniture was quite outdated too.

The hotel is really close to Hakata station, like, literally just outside the station, which my family loved a lot! :) The rooms, although aesthetically old, are very clean and spacious! They also (recently?) installed coin laundry machines as it was a heavily-requested amenity, which was a great convenience for my family!

There's a Pachinko parlor right at the first floor, which might be a turn-off for some people. Unfortunately, they are not active on Booking.com's messaging platform, so I was unable to find out if they offered a luggage delivery service before the trip. Although their official website did indicate that they do have offer a luggage delivery service, it came as a shock when the staff told me that they do not provide such a service. Thankfully, there's a Yamato Transport branch at Hakata station, so it didn't affect my trip that much.

Hotel Clio Court Hakata boasts an unbeatable location, just steps away from Hakata Station and the Shinkansen gates. This convenience is a major plus for travellers who want easy access to transportation, shops, and restaurants—all of which are plentiful in the area. The room was impressively spacious, approximately 25sqm, which is a rarity in Japan. The layout was well thought out, with a two-seater sofa and a coffee table that provided a cozy space to relax. The bathroom was also generously sized, further adding to the comfort. The beds were soft and inviting, with plenty of pillows to ensure a good night's sleep.

The hotel’s design felt a bit outdated, and while everything was functional, a modern refresh would elevate the overall experience. Additionally, the desk was on the smaller side, which might not be ideal for those needing to work during their stay.

The hotel location (just outside Hakata Station - Chikushi Exit) was excellent for this December 2024 trip! The hotel was about a 15-minute taxi ride from Fukuoka Airport (about 2,000 yen or $14). Hakata Station was about a minute walk from the hotel. The hotel cost was under $100 per night. The buffet breakfast was 2,300 yen per person. Our favorite yakiniku restaurant was about a 3-minute walk from our hotel.

Was a little surprised at the cost to extend our checkout for 2 hours (5,400 yen - about 36 USD).

Very good location as it is walking distance from the JR station. Do not have to worry about meals as there are many stores nearby. The hotel has rooms for 3 beds in a room, lucky for us. When we checked out to make a one-night stay at another destination, the hotel staff allowed us to keep our luggage in the hotel till we re-checked in when we returned. Really appreciated this service.

The lighting in the room is very dim. Would prefer to have strong ceiling lighting rather than small side lamps.

Very good location only a few steps to Hakata Station. I could find everything there ex: food , supermarket . nice croissant, shopping and Chrismas Market. I could travel around by train and taxi which in front of our hotel.

No parking lot. I have to park far away which high rate. Some girls couldn't help me for shuttle to airport. But some guy in the next day could answer. Couldn't adjust air condition and couldn't open the window so make us some uncomfortable.

Perfect location right next to Hakata station. The hotel rooms we chose were so spacious and comfortable. My cousin and I had separate rooms and we were close to each other and near the elevator. Breakfast buffet was really good. Pachinko parlor right downstairs, lots of souvenir shops and food in Hakata station. All types of transportation just steps away. Staff was so accommodating especially manager Mr. Sakamoto who spoke some English and that helped us a lot. We stayed there before and will stay again, for sure!

Unfortunately, I use booking.com for all my travel but found out this hotel is no longer with them.

I like the Japanese breakfast that they offered. Not much variety daily but good enough for the stomach to go on for the day. But i like the apple tea bag they they offered, very refreshing and tasty. Room wise sufficiently spacious; as I took the Deluxe twin; so no complain to those slightly smaller room size. Location - one thing has to point out. There is Hakata exit and there is Chikushi exit. The hotel is nearer to the Chikushi exit; so just get the orientation right. And surrounding the Chikushi are many eating places. Location is safe as well; although at the ground floor of the hotel there is a Pachinko parlour which can be slightly noisy coming back to hotel. But once you entered the hotel lobby on the 3rd floor; all is quiet and well.

Really convenient location. Liked how the trams were just outside the hotel entrance and we could get on the trams to the various attractions easily. The big mall next to the station was a great plus as we could just shop and walk back to the hotel to put down our purchases and then return to the mall again to have my meals.
