Location was just a minute walk from Gion station exit 3, with a direct connection to Tenjin station and Fukuoka airport Domestic Terminal (for International Terminal it is a shuttle bus ride further), or a 15-20 mins away by taxi (about ¥2000). Room was a bit dated like many of Japanese hotels but very clean(!) All amenities were present in room or available at the front desk. Room size (18m2) is on the bigger side for Japanese definition and the bathroom size was okay for us but I can imagine it being on the smaller side for others. No Netflix streaming service available but we were able to connect our Prime Video with the tv. Adjacent to the hotel is a Yayoiken restaurant, where they served a decent breakfast till 10am for hotel guests. After 10am it’s open for everyone till 02:30 am. Within a few mins walking from the hotel there are about 2-3 24hrs convenience stores and Canal City is a 10 min walk away. It was the perfect hotel for our stay!

Maybe no Netflix streaming service available but that’s not a deal breaker. Also no gym present for gym enthusiasts like my partner.

We chose Option 1 Japanese style breakfast. It was delicious. The coffee was also excellent. Perfect location. Less than 10mins walk from Hakata station. We loved our time in Fukuoka. Wonderful night time view from the top of Hakata Station. Shopping in Tenjin approx 30min walk. Perhaps an hour walk to the Port. Took a train to Nanzoin, a great day out. Lots of bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Highly recommend.

The location is great and lots of parking lot and restaurants around the hotel. we tried the lunch just located at the 1st floor of the hotel, it was great!

due to the size of the Auto parking, we cannot park our SUV inside but this doesnt really bother us. we are still happy with our stay

Conveniently located few meters away at GION station where the elevator is. Walking distance to many places within 10-15mins. This my second time with Daiwa Roynet chain hotel.

Was hoping to have two single beds instead but was told there’s additional charge of ¥13,000 for a night when there is no other additional facilities like onsen.

Breakfast was good with a variety to choose from. Staff were very polite and helpful. The room was comfortable. The hotel was walking distance from a car rental facility and about ten minutes walk underground to shops and the main train station. There are also food shops around the hotel.

Easy and quick checkin. A slightly older hotel which has been well maintained. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The location basically next door to the airport line subway station makes access to and from the airport quick and easy. It is also a short walk over to both old Hakata town and the modern Canal City shopping centre.

Location was great, only two minute walk to Gion train Station and 10 minutes to Hakata JR. Beds comfortable and room was clean. Also close to many restaurants and convenience stores.

Apart from check in being a bit confusing everything else was great!

Convenient location close to 2 tube stations, bus stop and Hakata station. There are many restaurants nearby. Efficient check in/out steps using the machines. Staff are very polite. The room was very spacious and it had a massage chair. The bed was comfortable. The room provided sleepwear.

I really enjoyed the cleanliness and quietness of the room, I couldn’t hear my neighbours which was great. The staff were so helpful and accomodating, I accidentally booked a smoking room and they were able to easily change us to a non smoking room which was a game changer as the smoking rooms had a really strong smell.

It's a short walking distance from Gion (Airport Subway) Station. The bed is wider than the usual.

There is no view from the window.
