Our stay at Dukes Hotel Hakata was fantastic! The location is unbeatable, just a quick walk from Hakata Station, making it perfect for sightseeing and catching trains. The rooms were clean and comfortable, bigger than most double rooms we stayed at before. A special thanks to Kono at the front desk, who kindly assisted with our reservations and even provided medication at no extra charge. We felt well taken care of and would highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service and hospitality.

The interior design is a bit outdated

Good business hotel, all the usual facilities with nothing extra but the price was low and the location excellent.

Cups were a little dusty, and the facilities were a little old fashioned. The receptionist didn’t explain anything at check in which was a little unusual, probably just assumed we didn’t understand. You have to hand in your key when you go out which is a bit of a hassle, especially when the person just assumed we were the group with the foreign name.

I like how it’s located in front of Hakata station. Also the convenience store and drug store is next by. Easy to access to JR and Subway. Also the bus terminal is walking distance so it’s easy to go around

It’s kinda old. Facilities are old but it’s giving vintage so it didn’t bother me. Maybe if you do a laundry then you better hurry cuz there only one washer and dryer.

The reception and restaurant staff were all helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed the Japanese breakfast, the room was clean and the hotel is in a very convenient location being so close to the train station.

Loved how close by it was to the Hakata Station. Staffs were friendly. Room was pretty comfy and well maintained for an old hotel (looks like it)

The key system, was a tad bit troublesome and the Frontdesk had no weighing scale for me to weigh my luggages 😭

Excellent staff, super friendly and helpful. My room was good but it is getting a bit tired in places.

Some parts of the hotel were scruffy. For example the guests washer and dryer room. It was very scruffy and dirty. It needs to be cleaned up.

Location is very close to Hakata station, and is easily reachable via public transportation. Everything is within walking distance, really. Very cheap considering location, too. Comfortable room, staff members were very nice, and I had an enjoyable time here.

The location is close to Hakata station and several car rental places. The room is slightly bigger than other hotels at this price range. The bed and bathroom are all good.

Our request for all the rooms to be close together was not fulfilled. There are no extra amenities to pick up at the lobby.

Great location - just cross the main road from the station and you'll see the sign, then you can walk or take the underground to all the main points of interest. The decor is a bit different - old European style, quite realistic, like an English manor house, hence the name. Rooms were nicely decorated and immaculate.

Nice location to go around hakata and hotel staff are good service minds.

I understand Japan is a safe country but it would be great if elevators have add access control system
