Room and restaurant very clean and quiet, had a good rest. The room was great, maybe a bit more storage/clothes space would have been better. I stayed a week there, was attending a conference, and we stayed with packing cubes on the seating area by the window as the 2 drawers available in the room were filled in rather quickly by 2 people. The restaurant breakfast was Ok, but I think I was expecting better for the room price. The omlette was served cold, only one type of white puffy bread for toasting (I would have liked some rye, or seed breads as options to alternate during the week). We ordered from the menu (one can combine buffet breakfast and a la carte) the shrimp salmon roe omlette and my daughter ordered the chinese omlette, and they both came in warm so we used them daily as an alternative to the buffet's cold omlette. The coffee was amazing, the highlight of my breakfast, I had expressos every morning. I had a foot injury and needed a wheelchair to move around. While the hotel doesn't offer any options, there is a free wheelchair option at Hakata Station but can only be used inside the station. Hakata station was only 5 minute walk from the hotel which was great. The Canal City was about 7-10 mins walk also, so hotel location was good overall. The Lawson across the street is also a convenient option for quick snacks or basic items. Uber is a perfect way to move around the city, I found it very convenient and clean option, the price was also much beter than in other places (e.g., Tokyo).

Location is perfect if you wish to join the tour hosted by Gunkanjima Digital Museum. Very quiet neighborhood. There's a shuttle bus station to Nagasaki Ropeway Fuchi Shrine Station (free but need advanced booking) just right in front of the hotel! Also a holiday-only tourist bus to most of the spots! Breakfast is also good! Lots of choices, including Nagasaki traditional dishes, with nice environment. (love the hand-made tofu most!!!!!!) Last but not least, all the staff are very welcoming and friendly! They tried their best to assist. Thank you!

Would be good if there are a few steps of stairs instead of slopes only when you want to go in or out of the hotel, during rainy days.

For three guests I was quite surprised at the size of the room, most Japanese hotels that offer three singles jam the beds in with no space to move, however there was some room to spare in this hotel which was a relief when you are packing for an international flight! Everything was clean and well maintained and the bathroom was very spacious.

Quite an odd breakfast selection of mostly hot dishes (including friend chicken etc), not Japanese style, nor Western style. No fresh fruit on offer. The taste was fine but I would have liked some more traditional breakfast options, whether they be Japanese or Western.

Great location. Breakfast was delicious. Room was big for Japan. We were comfortable. The bath was nice.

I felt like a criminal when I tried to check in 20 minutes early. Granted that's not a thing in Japan to be let in to your room before official check-in, but 20 minutes early and there was no available seating in the small main reception area, the bar wasn't open until 3 (check-in time), and while the restaurant was open and lively, I was told "no orders now!" and basically kicked out before closing. I asked the front desk where to wait and they pointed me to these 4 sad little chairs in a dark hallway just outside the lively restaurant and the closed bar. "Nobody puts Baby in a corner" but I guess they do. Finally, a reception person took pity on me and let me into our room 15 minutes early. I thought they could work on their hospitality or opening hours.

We got a room for three people with three beds. Very rare find and I'm glad Royal Park Hotel offers that! The bathroom was nice and quite spacious with a separate shower area and bath tub. Although the room itself had little space for our luggage, I think it was fine. The location was very convenient near Hakata Station and easy to find. There's also a Lawson just across from the hotel so very convenient. The staff were friendly and nice. They let me repack in a small corner after I had checked out and gone for more shopping before my flight.

Ideal location to get from the railway station, canal city shopping centre and also to the main attractions easily walking to them from this property. Having a convience store across the road is excellent. Easy access to yatai food stalls & restaurant area again all i walking distance.

The pillows, otherwise everything else in the room was excellent. Free water is always nice. To have tea/coffee making facilities is always an added bonus. The bar at the hotel was very nice & drinks were reasonably priced.

The staff were fantastic and so very helpful and did everything to make sure our stay was comfortable. Which it was. We travelled with three people and it was a good size room as well. They had pocket translators as well, so this helped with my broken Japanese at Reception. They had good facilities too, they have secure coin laundry facilities. The beds were comfy too. Highly recommend this hotel. I really loved the location so quick to get to from the JR Hakata Station but it was the staff, second to none that impressed me. They were great. Housekeeping did a great job, and the hotel left bottles of water every day they cleaned the room. Close location to rental cars and convenience sores and restaurants are in walking distance, so is Canal City. Would stay here again. Thank you to the staff.

- Staff are nice and friendly - location: I would say it’s ok, but not great. it takes 7 minutes walk to the station and it’s 30min walk to the 天神 area. - there are restaurants, convenience stores, shopping centers nearby. - facilities are clean and cozy. The bed and pillow are comfy, the room is spacious. - soundproof, I feel quiet and peace at night.

- the is no onsen - it’s a bit far from the station for people who takes huge suitcases ( it takes about 2000yen if you take a taxi to the airport. But there are buses and stuff to the airport too so it’s up to you)

The close location to Hakata station, staff was professional and friendly. Breakfast was oriented towards Chinese cuisine so might want to give it a miss if that is not what you have in mind. I had expected a more Japanese/western spread. Biggest drawback is the absence of fresh fruits as they only serve canned cut fruits which are full of sugar. Some fresh bananas or melons would be most welcome.

Lack of double bed room for single traveler, I stayed in a room with twin beds and it was rather small as there was no way to join the two beds together.
