Conveniently located across the street from Kyoto Station, this hotel offered a very pleasant stay. The rooms were slightly bigger than what is normal in Japan in this price range, and were fitted with amenities (glass showers, beautiful bathroom fittings etc.) to a level fairly rare in even the more expensive hotels in Japan. Even surpassing the rooms, the staff's attentiveness and customer service was on point! Less than a five-minute walk from the Bullet Trains (tracks visible from some rooms) and close to local restaurants, shopping and transport...this hotel will be my go-to from now on. I look forward to checking out their many other locations around Japan. The only think that seemed a bit strange was the bed mattress varied from one room to another.

It was a great stay. Located just a few steps from Kyoto station so it was easy to get around. Check-in was smooth and the staff friendly. My room was comfortable and relatively spacious with a work space and an ergonomic chair. WiFi was fast. Laundry facilities were available and the TV shows the availability of machines. Breakfast was really good with a large selection of Asian and Western options. 7-11 store right next to the hotel. It was a great stay and I’ll definitely return the next time I’m in Kyoto.

There was no view from my room but it was not a problem for me.

Very modern hotel with excellent location, just steps across the street from Kyoto Station. Lobby area has free fresh-brewed coffee and juice. An outside terrace patio was also available to enjoy drinks or relax. The room was more spacious than other properties we stayed at in Japan with nice furnishings. Nice bonus that the bathroom had a shower room with a glass door that separated it from the vanity/toilet area. Daily room cleaning was done and the entire facility was spotless. Very nice selection of food items at breakfast, offering both Japanese and Western plates. Staff always happy and greeting customers upon arrival and departure. A 7-Eleven is connected to the property on the first floor.

Awesome breakfast spread and location was very convenient. walking distance from Kyoto station was a bonus.

If only the double bed rooms were a little bigger. Bed is too soft but that's personal.

Location: Excellent. It’s right across the road from the Hachijo exit, and there’s an elevator that leads to a 7-11 on the ground floor, which has an ATM. Staff: Interaction was limited to check-in and check-out, so I can’t provide much useful feedback. I also didn’t use the complimentary drinks in the lobby, but that’s just personal preference as I rarely drink beverages. Bathroom: Features a separate shower and toilet area, a bidet, and an ample supply of toiletries.

Cleanliness: The air conditioning vent in my room clearly had visible dirt, and the chair was even more concerning. The area near the connection between the seat and backrest seemed to have never been cleaned. However, the overall cleanliness was decent. Layout: The space from the entrance to the bed was too narrow; once the luggage rack was unfolded, there was no room left.

Breakfast was one of the most amazing features of the hotel. Buffet style with excelent fresh choices. Covering lots of the Japanese classics, but also including more Western style for people who live in a box :-).

Our room looking at the wall across. The mandatory stop of the elevators at the 2nd floor where the lobby is. We also asked a few times to not get the room cleaned every day and towels replaced. The hotel chose instead to leave the new towels in bags in front of the door. Other hotels in Japan, including Kyoto follow not-every day cleaning policies which some even award.

Directly opposite Kyoto Station in the East exit gate made it convenient to find. Easy transport everywhere being walking distance of the main station. New, clean & spacious - they also have a 7-11 store downstairs. They have a gym onsite. Very helpful staff who helped us tremendously when we accidentally checked-out a day too early!

The offer combi machine for washing & drying but it is not good - we had to dry our clothes 3x about 40min each time but they were still damp as the combi machine doesn’t dry well. They should have separate washing & drying machines.

My room was clean, and quiet even though it was on the 2nd floor facing Kyoto station. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was Japanese style where bathtub and shower in closed space. Room cleaning only if you request. Worked for me because I usually don’t like someone coming into my room.

Took a while to issue my room key card because somehow my record in booking.com reservation does not work with their software of their self registration kiosk machine. A front desk agent had to manually check me in to issue a key card. But that’s all. The rest of my stay was perfect.

The hotel is just located by the Kyoto station. Very convenient. Lobby on the 2nd floor. Car lift parking available. We stayed in a double room. It was bigger than most rooms in the city. The toilet had a more Western layout and was spacious compared to the usual cookie cutter Japanese toilets. The breakfast buffet was on the 1st floor. Simple but decent variety. Most importantly, my plans were disrupted due to Typhoon Shan Shan. I booked an extra day but had to cancel. The hotel was kind enough to waive the cancellation fees even though it was done at the last minute. I am very grateful for the kind gesture. This is a chain of hotels with heart. Very rare indeed.

Over night parking at 1700 yen, though it is to be expected so near the city center.
