Conveniently located across the street from Kyoto Station, this hotel offered a very pleasant stay. The rooms were slightly bigger than what is normal in Japan in this price range, and were fitted with amenities (glass showers, beautiful bathroom fittings etc.) to a level fairly rare in even the more expensive hotels in Japan. Even surpassing the rooms, the staff's attentiveness and customer service was on point! Less than a five-minute walk from the Bullet Trains (tracks visible from some rooms) and close to local restaurants, shopping and transport...this hotel will be my go-to from now on. I look forward to checking out their many other locations around Japan. ""On that note, this is a fairly prominent chain so it is important to be careful about the particular address/name of the hotel you chose so as not to confuse it with a sister facilty.

The only think that seemed a bit strange was the bed mattress varied from one room to another.

It was a great stay. Located just a few steps from Kyoto station so it was easy to get around. Check-in was smooth and the staff friendly. My room was comfortable and relatively spacious with a work space and an ergonomic chair. WiFi was fast. Laundry facilities were available and the TV shows the availability of machines. Breakfast was really good with a large selection of Asian and Western options. 7-11 store right next to the hotel. It was a great stay and I’ll definitely return the next time I’m in Kyoto.

There was no view from my room but it was not a problem for me.

Very modern hotel with excellent location, just steps across the street from Kyoto Station. Lobby area has free fresh-brewed coffee and juice. An outside terrace patio was also available to enjoy drinks or relax. The room was more spacious than other properties we stayed at in Japan with nice furnishings. Nice bonus that the bathroom had a shower room with a glass door that separated it from the vanity/toilet area. Daily room cleaning was done and the entire facility was spotless. Very nice selection of food items at breakfast, offering both Japanese and Western plates. Staff always happy and greeting customers upon arrival and departure. A 7-Eleven is connected to the property on the first floor.

Awesome breakfast spread and location was very convenient. walking distance from Kyoto station was a bonus.

If only the double bed rooms were a little bigger. Bed is too soft but that's personal.

Location: Excellent. It’s right across the road from the Hachijo exit, and there’s an elevator that leads to a 7-11 on the ground floor, which has an ATM. Staff: Interaction was limited to check-in and check-out, so I can’t provide much useful feedback. I also didn’t use the complimentary drinks in the lobby, but that’s just personal preference as I rarely drink beverages. Bathroom: Features a separate shower and toilet area, a bidet, and an ample supply of toiletries.

Cleanliness: The air conditioning vent in my room clearly had visible dirt, and the chair was even more concerning. The area near the connection between the seat and backrest seemed to have never been cleaned. However, the overall cleanliness was decent. Layout: The space from the entrance to the bed was too narrow; once the luggage rack was unfolded, there was no room left.

Hotel was located about 2 minutes' walk from Kyoto station , taking the Hachijo east exit. This makes it a great base for exploring Kyoto - particularly if taking day trips - and is surrounded by shops, convenience stores and a few temples and shrines all within walking distance. The room was excellent - very clean and well stocked. A particularly useful feature was being able to see the live status of the laundry room (if machines were free, how long they had left to run) so if you needed to do laundry it was so easy to see when to go up. Staff were really lovely and the breakfast was delicious - a few western options and some delicious Japanese foods available, including Kyoto specialities, with the menu changing daily.

I chose to stay close to Kyoto Station in order to have easy access to transport. The hotel is perfectly placed for this. It's clean, well set up, and the 7-Eleven on the ground floor is extremely convenient. The staff are courteous and helpful. Breakfast is very good, with a range of western and asian choices. The room was pretty spacious by Japanese standards, and very comfortable. The laundry room is very useful. Overall, it's an excellent place.

No complaints. I received exactly what I expected to get, and I was very happy with that.

I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel location is so convenient, just 1 minute walk to the Kyoto station, many restaurants and shops are nearby. It is very easy to get around. The staff are very friendly and helpful, always having big smiles. We felt very welcomed. The breakfast is the best, we had breakfast at the hotel everyday as it is so delicious and with a wide variety of food options. The car rental company is very close by and the parking at the hotel is very easy. Also, the room is nice, clean and comfortable, the bathroom/toilet space is quite big.

Directly opposite Kyoto Station in the East exit gate made it convenient to find. Easy transport everywhere being walking distance of the main station. New, clean & spacious - they also have a 7-11 store downstairs. They have a gym onsite. Very helpful staff who helped us tremendously when we accidentally checked-out a day too early!

The offer combi machine for washing & drying but it is not good - we had to dry our clothes 3x about 40min each time but they were still damp as the combi machine doesn’t dry well. They should have separate washing & drying machines.
