Everything about this property was amazing - the room, the staff, the breakfast, the location, the services. Just perfect. And beautiful. Larger rooms than other accommodation in Japan. Breakfast was best we had in Japan. Staff were amazing - especially Murat ( think that was his name). They also provide Crabtree shampoo etc which is wonderful. There was nothing more we needed. I would highly recommend staying here when visiting Kyoto. And I will definitely go back soon. They even give you delicious cookies when you arrive. How cute is that?

Very nice hotel. The bed was big and comfortable, the duvet was big enough for two people, both the room and bathroom were spacious, and it was very clean with great amenities. The staff was really kind and spoke good English, and the breakfast buffet had lots of choice, with both Asian and Western cuisine. The coin laundry worked well. There's only 2 machines, but you can follow along on your room TV when one is available. We didn't have a problem using it. If I ever visit Kyōto again, this hotel is definitely the one I'll come back to.

The only thing I didn't like was that our stay has ended and we had to leave and travel to the next place.

The room was HUGE, not just for Japan standards, but any standard! The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was fairly big and the toilet had a door so two people can use the bathroom facilities at the same time having their own privacy Restaurant had good meal choices Close to Yodobashi and the Kyoto train station, but far from everywhere else (didnt matter so much tho because Uber is cheap in Kyoto) There is a mall nearby with a Donki and GU, which was great!

Housekeeping did not take out trash that were not inside the trashcan. Trashcans in the room are small, so some pet bottles and other trash were stashed inside plastic bags beside trashcans and the housekeeping staff never took them out. Breakfast buffet selection, I felt, was not worth the price. Better off ordering ala carte

The location is great, basically across the road from the station, about 5 to 7 minute walk. From there you can get to anywhere in the city quite easily. The hotel is new and much thought has been given to the decor. It is stylish and interesting with a Japanese touch. The rooms have a warm feeling with warm coloured floral carpets and wood features in the furniture. The bed linen was great and the beds extremely comfortable. The bathrooms are modern and the water pressure excellent.

Occasionally the breakfast room air-conditioning was a little too chilly.

The hotel is modern and new, your typical Hilton. We stayed here for quick access to the train station, as we were planning day trips to nearby cities and places. The train station is just a 5-minute walk away. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The bathroom was small and the sinks were very low, but this is common across Japan. I just thought that since this was a Hilton hotel and recently renovated, it would be different. It's not a complaint, just something to be aware of if you have a bad back.

Very helpful staff. Property is very near the main Kyoto train station so really convenient location. The breakfast buffet was amazing.

Brita water jugs provided in the rooms should be filled when the room gets cleaned. It’s cumbersome to try and fill the jug from the sink and then wait for the water to get filtered before you can drink it.

Warm and friendly welcome by the staff and warm cookie. Painless check-in and check-out. Nice breakfast place and well organised, friendly and helpful staffs.

It is not very convenient to walk from the train station during rain time (less coverage), although not the hotel's fault. And will really appreciate a good coffee during breakfast.

Very comfortable beds and strong shower. Staff were very helpful as we had to send our luggage to the next destination . Really appreciated that.

That the breakfast price changes. We were told that it would be higher on our first day because of a large crowd . Breakfast was good on days 2 and 3.

There is not proper space in the bathroom to keep my personal stuff (more shelves needed etc). Laundry facilities is to far away if you are at end of 5th floor.

Location

Some people at the breakfast were very pushy at the omelette station and that area was very tight to move around. Staff was very attentive. I would have a separate line for omelettes as people were standing in front of the scrambled eggs and bacon blocking those areas while waiting for their omelette.
