The staff were very friendly and helpful - we had a very good first impression. The room was a very good size, with a desk and two armchairs and a little table. The bed was pretty comfortable - the most comfortable we had in during our visit (though I admit that the bar was pretty low...). The location is excellent - right next to Kyoto station, no more than a 5 minute walk. There are plenty of restaurants in the vicinity. Even though you are very central, there is not a huge amount of traffic and the room was quiet at night, even when we had the window open.

The wi-fi in the hotel was not brilliant, and there were not really enough sockets or charging points in the bedroom. There is neither a bar nor a restaurant, even though there is a very large lounge space on the ground floor, with comfortable chairs. It felt like a real shame not being able to have a drink here at the end of the day.

The staff is great very happy and help answer any questions, the room is small but still clean and bigger than hotel APA I stay in tokyo,the washroom is spotless so so clean and very good shower head,the lobby is huge,they help with sended our luggage to different hotel, my brother was forgot and left his perfume and shaving machine at the hotel not remember until next day ,we called the hotel and they ship to us the next day what amazing hotel staff ,the location is easy too just keep going straight outside kyoto station cross the street go straight and turn left at corner of Avanti mall .going straight until you see Lawnson convenient store cross over,The Ms will be on your left.Highly recommend this Hotel.

The hotel is well located, when walking around I realised that it is a hotel chain. The beds are very nice. What I missed was that the ventilation was not very good, the humidity remained inside during the day. They have a laundry service which we use, however I would choose to do this task in another place, the filters of the washing machines were not clean, the clothes were full of lint and the drying function works but you have to invest a lot of money (it seems to me that they are somewhat old washing machines)

The hotel is in a very convenient location, excellent if you've got a lot of luggage and don't want to have to walk far to the main station. The station is the main hub of public transportation and had many, many shops and restaurants so we appreciated being so close. The beds are comfortable and we really liked the downstairs lounge area. Lots of seating and some games. The staff was helpful with our questions.

They let us know when we checked in, but didn't like that they did not clean the bathroom daily, only once every three days. The air conditioner was noisy and we either had to have it chilly or off, we couldn't find a good temperature.

Great hotel in a great location near the main Kyoto Station, staff were superb and friendly, not only that but when it suddenly down poured one of the kind staff provided towels at the main entrance so we could dry off. Room was clean, reasonably sized and as the A/C was powerfully which was perfect for this heat, it was also nice that the hotel had a lounge for people to socialise and eat in, so we didn’t have to eat in our rooms 10/10 planning on staying here again

Nothing to dislike

Spacious downstairs area for seating and relaxing where you can eat your own food and have access to drinking water and hot water. Very clean and close to train station, bus stops, shops and restaurants . They provide you with slippers, fridge and kettle and you can leave your luggage when you arrive early.

Room quite compact ( a bit on the small side) and the Aircon a bit noisy so we turned it off. No reading light on each side of the bed, only overheard. No option for breakfast on site

This hotel seemed to cover everything we needed; was very close to the Kyoto train station (about 4 mins walking), was spacious, very clean and affordable. It is located across the road from a Family Mart and about 3 mins walk to a 7Eleven. Although the rooms do have small tables, there is a cool “rumpus” style room on the ground level with kitchen style facilities and tables - so people like us who purchased take away food we had somewhere enjoyable to sit and eat, with fun games at hand. We only stayed two nights in between Hakuba and Osaka but we had a great stay…I did kick my toe on the weird makeshift bed one of the kids had (think it was a couch turned into a bed?!?), which broke my toe - was my fault so can’t complain…just watch your toes people!

I think this was a great property, the only suggestion I could make would be streaming services on the TV for customers to log into - we all sat crowded around an iPad to watch movies.

Great location, about 10 minutes away from the Kyoto train station. Clean and comfortable. They have a big lobby area where you can chill, work and have meals. There are Lawson and another convenience store down the road. There aren't too many restaurants on the road of the hotel but there are many good restaurants at Kyoto train station. Reception staff were very helpful.

There were some malicious emails which pretend to be PIC from Hotel The M's Kyoto have been sent through Booking.com that try to lead me to a website which intends to extract my credit card information. Though the real Hotel The M's Kyoto always reminds me that were malicious emails and fortunately I never respond to those emails, it would be better if Hotel The M's Kyoto coordinates with Booking.com to solve this problem thoroughly.

I liked the size of the shower and the shower pressure. The bed was also very comfortable. It was super clean. The staff were very helpful and polite.

There wasn't much room for luggage or clothing storage (the previous hotel had space under the bed to store luggage) The paid washing/ drying machines didn't dry clothes. I paida extra for more drying time still didn't dry my clothes.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kyoto - solo traveler or couple! I had a wonderful stay in a nice-sized room with a very comfortable bed, nice bathroom, and good TV. It was quiet, and I felt very safe with the hotel and the area. It's so close to Kyoto station! I took a bus from Itami Osaka airport and arrived in the dark to the stop across from Kyoto station. The hotel was a short walking distance, and I felt completely safe. The staff was always so helpful, and the hotel had printed sightseeing handouts showing you exactly how to get to the major sights using public transportation. There was a microwave in a lounge area and an ice machine in the area where you can do laundry!

There was nothing that I didn't like!
