Fantastic value for money. It's located very near the station (South side however) and while lacking bells and whistles the room was great. It has a faux traditional Japanese (和室) style with fake tatami mats and windows decorated to look like washi. This is not a complaint, I really liked it. The staff were really friendly and if you're interested they also do kimono rentals etc. I didn't use the service but I should imagine it could really add to someone's experience of Kyoto.

The shower was one of those where you can't get it warm, it was either way too hot or too cold. But for the price, I really can't complain. I would definitely stay there again.

Easily walkable distance to the station, shopping malls, and multiple convenience stores. Very cute, simple and charming room with tatami mats. Reasonable price. Friendly staff. The lighting in the bathroom was good for applying makeup and getting a proper good look at your face.

The temperature in the shower was either too cold or too hot, and when i could finally get a nice temperature it only lasted about 10-15 seconds until it got too hot or too cold again. We could also hear a lot of noises from the nearby rooms.

Near the main road, easy access to the nearest bus stop to go Gyon and near the Kyoto station. Have lift. Room size just nice, got space if the futons were folded. Futon and pillow was comfortable with thick duvet. toiletries and other equipments are provided such as hair dryer, small table and TV. Microwave and disposable cutleries provided. There was no common area. Can rent a kimono at shop below the hotel.

Bath and toilet are in the very small bathroom. No cloth iron, no pyjamas. Can hear noises from another room, not recommended for light sleeper. No blinders at the shoji sliding door, ur room not really dark during night.

it’s well located, close to Tokyo station. helpful, especially if you carry a lot of luggage. we wanted a traditional experience, and to be honest we had very comfortable sleep!

we stayed for 5 nights and the rooms wasn’t cleaned at all, we weren’t instructed on any of it. i believe you can take fresh towels from reception but no idea what to do with dirty ones. There was also no one ever present at reception. we wanted to enquire about transferring our luggage back to Tokyo but couldn’t as we never saw anyone there.

A great place for a ryokan-like experience with the tatami floor and the futon bed. The room size is pretty nice. The hotel is located in a few minutes walk form Kyoto Station

The room seemed a little worn off. There are also no shades in the room, so the sunlight gets through easily.

The hotel is located a few minutes walk to a local subway stations with Kyoto station being an extra few minutes away. The closest subway station has stairs, which can be difficult if you have large luggage with you. However, lifts are available at another exit just a bit further. Check in was fast and pleasant. An additional accommodation tax (which appears to apply to Kyoto only) was payable. The lift was appreciated and the tatami room as expected - clean and spacious for my needs. The main office door is closed in the evening up to the morning and the staff will provide a code for after hours access through an alternate entry way. Luggage storage was available.

I love it is near to kyoto station. And very affordable price.my room has washing machine, great facilities. Everything was clean , just hoping they could give great pillow as well hehe cause it’s very thin.

They have dryer at rooftop , i just hoping it would really dry as it should be. And they should provide a clear proper instruction on how to get there from kyoto station.

Great location near Kyoto station, very easy to walk to. Also close to other subway and bus stops. The room itself was small but pretty comfortable. Staff was helpful.

It was a little noisy at night and there were a lot of people smoking at the entrance, but they were polite and moved out of the way when coming in and out.

Small but beautiful space, I felt I had all the space and things I needed for my stay. I didn't know I could feel so comfortable in such a small space. Love it.

This hotel is so small I don't recommend it if you have 20-25kg baggage or if you are a big person.

Great location and perfect for solo traveller. The tatami room was really lovely. Big plus that it was very close to Kyoto station.

The walls are very thin. You can hear voices from the other rooms.
