The hotel was tastefully decorated. There were a lot of surprises, (something like easter eggs) which would be one of the reasons for me to book this chain once again. The staff were helpful, the location is in a nice area, though it is a bit far from the train station. But well connected by Tram and Bus. If you take the tram from the railway station, you will need to change in the Shinchi China town stop and take a different tram from the opposite platform. Or take a bus or taxi. The room was clean with the amenities as per description. Overall a good booking for me.

Truly everything was terrific. The staff super helpful, friendly and professional. The ambiance and decor were unique and full of character unlike modern chain hotels. The elevators were right out of the 1930's art deco style. The courtyard restaurant was like being in Sorrento, Italy. The breakfast options were ample, very well done and the variety catered to all tastes. We experienced restful nights without excessive noise from the street or hotel guests. We could easily walk to Chinatown, the wharf and other areas of interest and plenty of nearby shopping. We would stay here again.

I would like more than one pillow on my bed. I didn't ask for an extra and feel confident that if I did, the hotel would have gladly offered one. Other than that, there is nothing to complain about.

Although a new building, it certainly gave the impression of being a heritage property. The quiet location is great…close to the harbour, Hollander Slope, Glover Garden and only about a 10-15min walk to the covered arcade streets. The tram also stops close by. The room has a tiled floor (just as well for our rainy visit ☔️) but slippers are provided. We didn’t have any meals at the property but there is a lovely cafe across the road and a great pizza place right next door 🍕 Parking was easy under the hotel, the staff were great in taking us and the car down in the lift!

Stayed for 2 nights with breakfast included and was very happy with the experience: Hotel staff were attentive, accommodating and helpful throughout my stay. Check-in/check-out were smooth and efficient, staff were able to speak english and were helpful with the car parking. Room was of good size, enough to open up 2 large luggages. Breakfast was great with Japanese and some international options. WiFi was good. Location of Hotel is within short walking distance (5 to 10 mins) from various attractions such as Glover Garden, Chinatown. Overall experience is great.

No complains for my stay as I rented and drove to the hotel. However, do note that hotel is not very close to the JR train station.

The facade of the hotel is interesting / western-influenced. The location is close to popular attractions such as Dejima Wharf, Oura Cathedral, Glover Garden and Gunkan Musuem. The hotel employees speak basic english and it facilitates check-in / check-out process. Basic facilities and amenities were also provided throughout the stay. Overall, the hotel is valued for money.

The hotel location might not be that close to the JR station. Often, walking to the various attractions is faster than public transports.

The hotel is amazing! The service and level of care was above and beyond. I arrived early and they held my luggage and I had an amazing lunch at a restaurant nearby. The hotel had beautiful European decorations and ambiance. My room was super comfortable, spacious and had amazing view of the garden! The hotel was close to all the attractions as well. Everything was within walking distance. I will definitely stay here again!

Great looking hotel in Portugese style with great old fitments (check out the lift floor numbering). Service was perfect - on the ball and professional. Room was good size and available breakfast was grand - good coffee. Location is great - near tourist things, water, tram etc. Nice little street one back from the main drag, so some interesting shops nearby. We didn't have a car, but parking seemed available underneath. It just felt right.

The style of this hotel is very unique with old style class. The rooms are spacious with views over the little streets below. The double bed is huge and the room is clean and has everything you need. The breakfast spread was superior with so many choices and local delicacies - especially the little cakes! The hotel is located close to the historic Dutch slope and Glover gardens. It is also only a short walk to china town and under cover shopping mall and interesting eating places as well as the dining along the wharf. This was the perfect place to stay in Nagasaki

This is centrally located, near several attractions and within the old Dutch quarter itself. The tram stop is right outside the hotel. The surroundings have an European theme and there a couple of good bakeries right opposite the hotel. The room is sufficiently spacious and the beds were really comfortable. The beds were pretty high - and especially so by Japanese standards. The interior decor of the hotel is quite quirky as well.

Paid parking within the hotel's garage was a bit too pricey

It's a beautiful hotel. Lots of restaurants and cafes around. Tram Stop very close. The rooms are a good size. Staff were incredible. Definitely a highlight. They are so helpful.

It's quite out of the way for most of the sights and sounds of Nagasaki, although it does really connect with a tram. The rooms are all tiled, no carpets. This is great for cleanliness but the room felt cold (not temperature, but atmosphere/feeling). Even just adding a rug to the room would feel more welcoming.
