The name of the hotel building was not so obvious but easy to find from google maps, walkable from a subway station a few mins away. Location was good to explore around. Checkin time was strict at 3pm using the tablet and took a few attempts to scan the passport, but eventually worked. Our luggages sent via Ta-Q-Bin also arrived safely in the hotel’s custody. Amenities (facial products, razor etc) are available just near the reception area if you need them. Staff in general spoke a little English and were generally smiley and pleasant in our experience. We booked the non-smoking double room, size of room and bathroom was a bit small but manageable. Everything that you need for a comfortable stay would be available. We had our own coffee powder and appreciated the electric kettle and mugs in the room. It was quiet and we got good night sleep daily. You get a free drink during happy hour from 5-8pm so that’s a nice freebie to have. Breakfast was quite good with a variety to choose from. At this price point and amenities / service provided, we can recommend this place.

Breakfast space was a little cramped as a few reviewers have commented. We stayed 4 nights and skipped only the 1st breakfast because we found it too crowded. Coffee was a bit sourish for our taste.

We had a fantastic stay at the Kuretake Inn Nagoya Hisayaodori. Everything was truly excellent – from the cleanliness of the room to the overall comfort and convenience of the facilities. The hotel is modern, well maintained, and offers a pleasant atmosphere that makes you feel at ease right away. One small thing that left us a little disappointed was that some of the streaming services, such as Abema, were only available with an additional fee. It would have been nice if they were included for free, but this did not affect our overall experience too much. The staff was very kind and professional, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The location is also very convenient for exploring Nagoya, with good access to public transportation and nearby attractions. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for both short and longer visits to the city.

The hotel was in a great location. Not far from the train station and close enough to a lively restaurant area to easily get food, but far enough away to not hear any noise. The rooms were peaceful at night and they had decent blackout curtains too. The free breakfast included was varied and was very nice. There was even snacks and drinks provided for free at a happy hour in the evening.

There wasn't much I didn't like, but if I had to choose it would be there wasn't enough seating for everyone at breakfast. The first morning we went for breakfast there wasn't many other people there, but the second day the breakfast room was very full and it was difficult to sit to eat.

This trip was our second time in Nagoya and the second hotel we’ve checked into. I liked the hotel because it was close to almost everything. It is close to Nagoya Castle, it’s right beside Hisayaodori Park where the tower is located, it’s also close to the train station. Everything is a walking distance from the hotel. Breakfast is also included so it was a good deal. Cheaper than the others too. The hotel doesn’t have its own parking lot but there is a coin parking beside it and another one behind it. The check-in was easy and smooth with no problems at all.

The only thing we didn’t like was the dirty floor under the bed but other than that, everything was great.

The location offers convenient access to the city, with popular destinations like OASIS 21, Sakae, the Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER, and nearby shopping districts all within walking distance. The nearest subway station, Hisayaodori, is just a 5-minute walk away. There are also plenty of convenience stores—such as Lawson, 7-Eleven, and FamilyMart—right around the corner. The stay includes a good breakfast served in both American and Japanese buffet styles, offering plenty of variety. However, the breakfast seating area is small and tends to get crowded during peak hours.

The pillow is too small, too soft, and almost completely flat. This is really disappointing, especially since it's my second visit to this hotel. I don't recall the pillow being this bad during my previous stay. Hope this can be improve in the future.

Good value for money, queen size bed is standard size, not like other hotels claiming "Queen size" but size is a little bit smaller. Location is near to Hisaya Odori Sta. which directly links go Nagoya Sta. The park in the front is a bonus, and has lots of cafe close to it. Offers breakfast though it caters to Japanese taste, they serve good croissant and sometimes it is better that looking for where to eat. Hotel staff are all super friendly and accommodating. Lastly, I like that they offer free beers and drinks (happy hour).

Since the inn is a bit on the value side, many use it and as a result, there is a big crowd during breakfast, but it is understandable.

best part of the hotel is there location, near to train and bus station, also walking distance from hotel to nagoya castle and mirai tower, hisayaodori park and so many restaurants to choose on the location. Their breakfast is very good as well and they have free liquer shot from 5pm-8pm, so many amenities and also they always give new towels and sleeping suites everyday, they have a friendly staff, especially the staffs on the breakfast buffet area they are very hospitable and warm.

we are a group of 3, but they only gave us 2 pillows and they dont have any extras, room is a bit small but its ok, please remind HOUSEKEEPING to clean also underneath the bed cause it wasnt clean at all full of dust bunnies.

We stayed at Kuretake Inn Nagoya Hisayaodori for one night and found it to be a simple but pleasant stop. We had four rooms for our group, all at excellent rates, which made it a very practical choice. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check in was quick and efficient. The rooms were more than okay—clean and comfortable. The beds and pillows were especially good, and we all had a restful night. The hotel is also within walking distance of the main shopping area, which made it easy to explore the city a bit during our short stay. This is a solid budget friendly option for a short visit to Nagoya, especially if you are traveling in a group and looking for good value.

Almost impossible to beat the price, especially considering what is included! Access to a bath, laundry, breakfast, and a happy hour were all great perks on top of a clean room at a super reasonable price. The location has a short, flat walk to subway access (with an elevator if needed), and we found it to be a great location for getting around Nagoya. We loved that we were able to leave our luggage after checking out, too Definitely would recommend and stay again!

Breakfast seemed to be consistently busy, even when it opened at 6:30. At times there was even a line to get seating, so that was a (very minor) bummer and prevented us from always taking advantage of breakfast except for one day... but with the money we saved, it was easy to hop over to some local spots for an inexpensive breakfast instead.

Wifi was stable. Breakfast was delicious (the best thing I have eaten in Nagoya). It was very helpful that I could do laundry. Thank you! The public bath was also very nice. Staff were friendly.

When I arrived at the hotel, there were three staff at the front but only one of them, the one who was in training, was taking customers. I would think that it would have been more efficient if all the three could work simultaneously (so the waiting time would be less). The breakfast was very good and I was a little curious why there was only fork and chopsticks (but why not spoon and knife?) it is a minor thing but a fork without a knife felt like being served a chopstick (not two chopsticks but only one) and a spoon is a good thing to have, too. Overall, though, I had a good experience and would recommend it to anyone and everyone. I would like to go back there.
