Amazing hotel which exceeded our expectations! Staff was super friendly and helpful, hotel is very close to several Metro/Subway/Bus stations and all reachable within less than 5min by foot, Shinjuku Station can also be reached by foot, 7/11 right underneath the hotel, everything you need is close by. Rooms are quite spacious and very clean. We had a super nice view on Mount Fuji on clear days.

All was perfect. Can only recommend.

The staff went above and beyond to meet our needs during our stay. My father had some health issues on the flight and the concierge manager helped us call emergency services to locate and schedule an appointment for him in Japanese the following morning. He spent over the 1 hour with us and even helped my parents book a last minute room. Truly exceptional service. Central location, spacious rooms, beautiful classic facilities! You will be extremely comfortable & happy with your stay here.

The room was spacious and the view from our room was excellent. The breakfast was excellent. The choice of eggs was good, the fruit selection was a lot and all fresh fruits, and the choice of cold cuts and salad was excellent as well.

The location of the hotel is in the West side of Shinjuku which were informed is a predominantly business area. The real fun and vibrant part of Shinjuku to explore is the east side where all the restaurants. shopping, bars are located., so it is about a 15-20 min walk from the hotel to the east side of Shinjuku, below the Shinjuku station.

The room was very modern and I like the design of the shower glass next to the bed. It may not be to everyone's taste and may not be the best for a family, but I like the modern aesthetic. The view from my room was decent and the hotel lobby was large and elegant. I only stayed here one night so unfortunately I didn't get to see everything the hotel had to offer, but the staff was very friendly and accommodating. All staff I interacted with spoke excellent English and I was always met with a smile. Very polite, courteous staff overall.

One small drawback was the size of the room. Given the price I had hoped it would be slightly larger, but overall it is still quite large when compared to many typical Japanese hotels. The lobby itself was also a little bit of a challenge to find coming from the nearby train station, and getting luggage to it without using stairs was a bit tricky, so I suppose better signage from all train stations could help.

It was quiet. Not sure if it was because it was under renovation. The room that was offered had a great view, we could see people resting in the park and the sunset.

I clearly shared that there was 4 ppl in the room but we only had facilities for 3, 3 tooth paste, brushes, towels etc.

The hotel was clean, and the staff was extremely helpful. We checked our baggage in early and went to explore. When we returned that night, they had taken our luggage to our room, made the pullout sofa into a bed, and put my son's stuffed toy from a visibly open Nintendo bag onto the bed next to the pillow. The next day, they helped us with reservations for the airport shuttle. The breakfast buffet was a bit pricey relative to other food in Tokyo, but it was very good, and the staff in the restaurant was helpful and efficient. The hotel is walking distance from Shinjuku. We would definitely stay here again!

The bathroom was a bit small, and the toiletries, (shampoo, conditioner, body wash), were all travel size.

perfect for first time visitor to Japan. easy access to Shinjuku station. all interactions with staff were 100%, very helpful and approachable.

one cardboard cup and 1 tea bag each per day for cuppa in room a bit surprising for price of room, feel it’s a bit picky to mention but was a negative for me.

spacious and very clean. I can tell the hotel is a bit old and somewhat outdated but the room is very comfortable. excellent staff. the location is fairly good.

little bit of a walk to Shinjuku station but not bad. I was a little disappointed that there were not many restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

It’s a nice traditional hotel tucked peacefully 15 minutes away from the Shinjuku core. It is a clean and well maintained hotel. I like the modern decor of the room, and the well planned use of space. The Hyatt is next to the small park which I find my taking a lovely stroll each day. The overall experience of the hotel was great; however, they got some giltches in their service. For example, my room was not ready for check in 2 pm so I had to wait 1 hour for the room. It appears that I was not the only waiting for the late room. My room had two child bed setup when I enter for my kids but for some reason after I left the room to go out, the kids bed are clear and clean up which I find odd as they know I have two kids staying with me. Other than that, it’s a great hotel I would definitely come back.

Really clean. Super friendly staff. Good facilities. Great view. Looks modern and well maintained. Not a single thing in the room looked or felt dated. Great room size for Japan. Nice breakfast buffet selection.

Terrible noise insulation between the rooms. The hotel rooms are almost air tight. No windows open and there is no fresh air supply. This is a problem as despite hotel wide "no-smoke" policy once a guest sneakily smoke in a room it's very difficult to get that smoke out. We asked for a room change as there was a lingering smell from the previous guests.
