I recommend Chester Hotel and Suites wholeheartedly. I am impressed by the cleanliness of the apartment. The security and reception people are very nice and helpful. The hotel location is great, the apartment is comfortable and everything worked. Nice balcony with a view, the possibility of visiting guests after verification is great. I will gladly choose this place in the future. Wifi works super!

The pool was in the shade which was uncomfortable because it was cold and I couldn't sunbathe but it was a minor problem. I missed a kettle in the kitchen, but there were pots, so I made water for tea.

The hotel is centrally located where there are plenty of restaurants and shops to choose from as well as an artisan marker practically out the front door. There's a nice breakfast place just outside of the entrance to the hotel that served great coffee, breakfasts and other meals. The staff was very good and helpful in all cases. I left my hat and they kept it until I returned 2 weeks later. The room was a suite that had tons of space and a balcony off of the living room.

The hotel building itself is dated and needs some basic improvements or updates such as new hot water tanks, some bathroom updates, and in-general some TLC.

For Kenyan conditions, that hotel was ok. It was good location, spacious size, and very interesting construction that keped building cool even in a hot weather. Of course it was not such a stander you would expect in Europe, but for Kenyan conditions it was very good. First room i did get had weird smell in the bathroom, and i did not like it. Girl in reception helped me (her name was Lynda) and after maybe one hour of waiting in a room, i was given new one that was great. They did allow me to check in before check in time, and i felt that stuff is really looking after me. Manager was nice and friendly to, once he came to get me to my next room, and helped me with the luggage. If i will return to Kenya, i will stay here again.

Some windows had broken lockers, and it was impossible to lock them permanently, which did not gave me feeling of security. Broken lockers in windows were present in both rooms i was staying in.

Everything was great, the staff is friendly. The hotel is nice and secure. It has a good location close to good local and international restaurants. It is also close to the old city market. Just under the hotel, there is a very good massage place that I recommend trying. There is also a coffee shop under the hotel where the food and coffee are really good. Just 600 meter away have one restaurant called klimenjoro Jamia restaurant, it's local restaurant sooooo good food for very good price, nice and clean. The only problem is that the bathrooms may need some renovation. The water flow is a bit weak, and no matter what I do, water collects next to the toilet.

The hotel is well situated right in the center of Nairobi (CBD). Restaurants, malls (city center mall), shops are very close by. The view from the 14th floor (where was my room) is awesome. The bed is comfortable. The staffs are very friendly and helpful.

Despite of staying in a high floor, the presence of mosquitos is unpleasant (even the bed accompanies with a mosquito net). The room/curtains/toilet look quite used and need some changes.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. The place was older but kept very clean. I was upgraded from a studio to a one bedroom suite with a kitchen. It was so nice to be able to make a few meals at what felt like a temporary home. I also had a large balcony with a view. I was apprehensive to take a taxi to the airport, as I had a flight in the middle of the night. The front desk accommodated me by personally introducing me to the driver. I was able to get in touch with him as he gave me his WhatsApp. This added an extra layer of reassurance! I would definitely recommend this hotel. Great value for your money.

Everything exceeded my expectations.

The room was spacious and comfortable to stay for four nights. The location of the hotel is good - not very noisy neighborhood with restaurants and groceries around. The staff was helpful and pleasant.

You should consider that this hotel is old (or at least looks so). At first sight it looked as it is not so clean, but it us just because everything is used so many times and definately needs a renovation.

poor light in all rooms, the kitchen is dirty and the appliances stinks and requires urgent renovation, shower was leaking and in spite of multi reports, nothing was done, room phone was not working, also reported but ignored. management need to move around and take it seriously.

The location is excellent, in the city centre with many services and tourist sites close by. The room was large, like a small flat, with a kitchen with cooking utensils, tea and coffee. Living room with sofas and TV, dining table, desk, daily replenishment of bath products and daily cleaning. Everything was great for a 6-night stay. Very helpful and attentive staff.

The breakfast, for the price, wasn't entirely satisfactory, there was bread on only one day, for example. There's no restaurant.

The place is quiet and very clean. My friends came to visit me and I had a couple Of meetings in my room and my visitors were very welcome. I also left valuables and they were very safe i didn’t lose anything. I felt safe at the hotel.

The lifts are very old.
