My room for the last two nights was big and spacious. The property is centrally located and a walkable distance to Sarit Center, Westlands market, The National Museum of Kenya.

While the general room design was good, I found the towel rack too far from the shower area. Plus the hot water is not always hot or is just slightly warm. If these two could be improved it would add to the comfort of the room. Additionally at free breakfast I felt the waiter policing me all just because one time I thought I could take a few desserts leftover on my plate down to my room for me to eat with tea after I sorted my stomach issue and he stopped me. The next day I felt policed again by same waiter. I did not feel comfortable eating breakfast at the restaurant on my last day, unfortunately.

The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of options, and we found it much better than their other location in South C. Although the hotel doesn’t have a pool, the restaurant and bar offer a great view, which more than makes up for it. The staff were exceptional—well-trained and attentive to guests’ needs, making our experience even more delightful. The location is a big plus, as it’s within walking distance to Westlands attractions like Sarit Mall and some fantastic restaurants. Overall, La Maison Royal Westlands is a safe, decent, and practical choice for travelers. The price is reasonable, offering great value without compromising on comfort or service. Highly recommended!

Incomplete room amenities

The room is good enough and comfortable to stay for a few nights. The property is centrally located and walkable to Sarit Center, Westlands market and the National Museum of Kenya. The staff was helpful with some of my queries to get around the city and Kenya.

Some room for improvements…The towel rack was high and a bit of a stretch up for me to reach. The sink kept clogging for one reason even though housekeeping came and unclogged the drain on my first call. Hot water does not get hot all the time. If these could be improved it would increase the comfort of the room.

Mostly a very enjoyable stay. The deluxe queen room was fabulous. Hugh bathroom and the most comfortable bed in our six weeks in Africa. The room was large and well furnished. Totally recommend booking this room, value for money when compared to the standard double that we were allocated the first night because the room we booked was still in use!

The deluxe queen room we booked and paid for was not available for our first night so we were put in a standard double and moved the following day. The restaurant food wasn't that great. Only one's dining there yet took an age and the food was cold. Don't figure. The next night our rare steaks were charcoal and gristle served with cold soggy chips

Location is great, rooms good size, Rooftop bar 24/7, beds and linen comfy.

Staff should prioritise, had an A/C issue outstanding for 7 days, towels always delayed due to cleaning, hotel restaurant food is not good so ate out every night. Hotel needs a maintenance team as its looking old and a lot of things breaking, in my room issues were shower knob coming off, shower door handle missing, cupboard door hinge off , bed lamp missing globe, sink missing catch drainer, TV reception terrible,

Great hotel, central location, comfortable clean and quiet rooms. We slept very well and there was an.excellent breakfast with fresh fruit and delicious freshly made coffee. There is also a great rooftop bars The staff were so helpful, it is hard to single anyone out as everyone was so kind and attentive but in particular Angela Ndine who patiently helped me change our dates when there was a glitch on booking.com and Loice who arranged an earlier breakfast time for us and also a packed breakfast on our last day. I can highly recommend this hotel, it is an excellent price for central Nairobi and we hope to stay another night here before we fly out. It really exceeded our expectations.

Nothing, as said before, excellent price and very comfortable stay with great customer service.

This is our second stay here, it is really excellent value, centrally located, with comfortable spotless quiet rooms with AC. All the staff whether on reception, in the restaurant or housekeeping are unfailingly helpful and courteous. We happened to be in our room when the housekeeper arrived one of the days and expected a quick 5-10 minute clean but she spent 30-40 minutes cleaning it very thoroughly to a very good standard. Breakfast is delicious, with freshly made juices such as mango or pineapple and mint, fresh fruit, fresh pastries, eggs etc and even a proper cappuccino. It was such a pleasure to stay here again and we highly recommend it.

Nothing, it really was a perfect stay

Very clean hotel in the middle of Westlands Nairobi. Shopping centres around. Very good and complete breakfast buffet. Free tea, coffee and welcome water in the room available. The majority of employees is friendly, helpful. The director didn't hesitate to come to see us to know if everything was fine and serving himself drinks on the beautiful rooftop. Nice director.

Not so many food options around the hotel but the food was great there and good quantity. One receptionnist not very friendly and professional. My husband extended is staying and she didn't explain everything. So the morning after, another one had to call him at 6 am to confirm he was in the room, while I was leaving the hotel to reach airport .
