It was clean, very spacious, and had everything we needed, including cutlery and a knife in the kitchen, washing up supplies in the kitchen, and a combination washer/dryer. The service was fantastic, and the folks at reception were very helpful and informative. They always went above and beyond. At one point, the hot water broke in our building so the reception staff provided us with an empty apartment to shower in while the water was being fixed. There's a lovely cafe (Amka) downstairs which has wonderful staff, great coffee and delicious food. The grounds are very secure and the security staff were absolutely lovely - they even showed us a nearby food stand that we'd been smelling but couldn't find (the food there is amazing).

The apartment didn't have a huge amount of natural light but that was specific to our particular unit and with the lights on it wasn't an issue.

The cleaning staff were great. Friendly, helpful and efficient. The guards at the entrance were always smiling and polite. The pool is very cosy and clean, though the water was quite cold. The gym is well equipped, quiet and very clean. Location was wonderful, quiet and safe.

The apartment is cosy but with some minor issues, like the old wooden floor, the sink that was not working properly, and the lack of air-conditioning. Laundry facilities are in a separate room, and we had to ask for the key all the time, which was not that much of a problem, but the lack of a cloth rack in the apartment was an issue.

Excellent facilities in apartment, daily cleaning

The location was central to my travel around the city and only a short distance via the city expressway from the airport. The security which was a concern during my stay due to protests in the CBD was thorough yet professional. I never felt any concern for my family and I. The apartment was comfortable, clean and had what I needed to make meals during my stay. I had to change rooms half way through my stay but the lady at the front, who’s name was Daisy I believe, was more than accommodating. She understood my concerns with the initial apartment and quickly found a solution and followed up to make sure the new apartment was as expected. On my next stay in Nairobi, I will definitely stay at the property again.

Longonot was very helpful in holding our bags while we traveled to Mombasa for 5 days. They also worked with us to help us to trade a night when the demonstrations got too bad in Nairobi and we were concerned roads would block us in, so we left a day early and they credited us for another night of our stay.

Nothing major. We had 3 rooms for each stay. The washing machine didn't work in one of the units. We all had different amounts of water/coffee on our counters, some had no water, some had two waters. We went down to talk to them but they told us we had to pay for more waters, which made no sense, since we didn't actually have it in all the rooms.

The apartment was spacious and clean. They interior decoration is excellent, and the colors well chosen. The furniture is very comfortable and beds and beddings excellent. The location of the apartment is also great at the outskirts of city center, but with good exit routes in and out.

Overall it was a good stay. In terms of what could have been better - the TV size is slightly small for the size of the living rooms. Also we had some challenges with hot water, which was on and off on the first day, but it seemed to stabilise later in the day.

Spacious, clean, and felt like a home away from home. Hot showers, free toiletries and bottled water were bonuses. Stocked kitchen if you desire to cook. Great living room space with TV to lounge in and relax. The most noteworthy quality was Longonot Place Apt's staff who deserve 10+++ stars. From arrival, Daisy, the receptionist greeted me warmly as if old friends or family. She continued to check on me throughout my time to make sure I had all I needed for a comfortable stay. Loved it so much at Longonot apt that I extended my stay another night here. Definitely made some lifelong friends here and anticipate returning within the next year. Thank you Daisy and everyone at Longonot!

No AC, but I stayed in mid September with mild temps, so not a deal breaker. The apt is large and airy enough.

Check in was seamless. We were able to get to our apartments without an issue. The restaurant was great and the owner made sure we were satisfied with our meal and service. The apartments were clean and roomy. The location was good. It is right next to The Norfolk Hotel and if you walk past the Norfolk and across the bridge to Biashara Street, there are shops, restaurants, and places to get your cell phone SIM cards, etc.....very convenient. We had to leave a day early due to some protests and unrest in the area. We spoke to the front desk and they gave us a one night credit, which we will use when we come back to Nairobi before flying back to the United States. We were very thankful they were willing to work with us on that.

The dryer didn't work all that well, so we did have to hang up some of our clothing. Not really a huge deal, but a mini inconvenience. We didn't even let them know because it wasn't too much of an issue. The other thing we had some chuckles about was the fact that the plugs were too high for the appliances, so we had to put the water kettle on top of the toaster in order to reach the plug and then had to put the toaster on top a box in order to reach the plug. Again, not really a big deal, but we found it humorous.

Excellent. Would stay again and would recommend. A coffee shop and restaurant are located on the premises though they appear to be under different management so breakfast is not included.

A coffee maker or French Press would have been a nice addition. We brought coffee assuming that would be available but had to make do with the provided instant coffee. We had to ask for additional cutlery and mugs but the staff were very helpful in giving us what was needed.

Spacious rooms. Well-designed space. Well-stocked kitchen. Helpful staff including the guards who helped us carry our luggage.

The electric cooker kept turning itself off in the middle of cooking. The TV was very unclear. They use DSTV, but the images were very grainy. The restaurant is managed by a third party, and since the swimming pool is right by the restaurant, the restaurant staff do not treat the apartment guests, especially children who tend to be noisy and playful, with kindness.
