Really a first-class small hotel. All the expected amenities were in place, the breakfast was outstanding, staff were competent and friendly and the location was 100 meters from Charles Bridge and numerous excellent restaurants.

be careful entering the reception door, and from the entrance to the reception desk...there are unexpected steps.

This hotel is in a perfect spot for visiting Prague. It is on the Castle side of Charles Bridge and is lovely and quiet at night time. The hotel itself is an old building with lovely quaint features inside. Our room was in the attic with a tiny window overlooking the river. The room wasn't that warm but this suited us - I did comment on it when leaving as others might prefer a warmer room. Bathroom is well equiped with a shower in the bath (rain shower which was lovely). Tea & coffee making facilities & bottles of water when we arrived. The breakfast was alright - good coffee - fruit & yoghurt with toast. The hot food was not appealing to me. Highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Prague.

What a fantastic stay we had at the The Archibald. The staff were really helpful and polite, the room was cosy comfortable and clean and there was plenty of choice for breakfast. Although, limited choice, they even lay on free lunch between noon and 4pm. The location next to The Charles Bridge is great for access to the city centre (10-15 minute walk).We stayed in November and the area around the hotel was very quiet. It's also close to the castle but it is a steep walk up hill (although that's not the hotels fault😉). It's also ideally situated to get to and from the airport on public transport (around a 10 minute walk from the closest metro station). Honestly, I don't ever recall staying in a city hotel that was such good value for money. If I come back to Prague, guess where I'm going to stay?🤔😉

Absolutely nothing

The hotel is in a beautiful and quiet place on the river and within walking distance of all the attractions. The room is spacious, comfortable and bright, a comfortable bed and a luxurious shower and even has special lighting that can be adjusted. The room was so cozy that we didn't want to leave it and it was great to wake up in the morning and see the Charles Bridge from the window. Also there is a lovely garden in the hotel where you can chill on a sunny day. We enjoyed the brunch, which gives the opportunity to enjoy coffee and pastries even for those who don't get up early for breakfast.

The window is located so that you can't sit in front of the view, but that's a minor thing.

The hotel was clean and the dining room had wonderful and stylish arches of old bricks.The breakfast was very good, the staff was helpful and kind, the soup that was free of charge in the dining room every day between 12-16 was delicious, the bedroom had a great size and the apartment had a big, nice bathroom with bathtub, and of course the Charles bridge and the old town, the castle was nearby. We had a wonderful stay and will come back soon!

There was only one english channel on the tv and this was a chinese news channel that we didn't like. A wider selection of english channels would be nice.

The location was amazing, on a beautiful square, right next to the Charles Bridge, river and park. Easy walking distance of all local attractions. The hotel was clean and cool (we went in summer). The customer service was great. Bag drop facilites were super handy. The breakfast room was lovely with a vaulted ceiling and they offered a full buffet of english and continenental breakfast options. They offered a free bonus lunch of soup, freshly baked rolls, premade sandwiches and sandwich fillings. The rooms were clean and spacious, with lots of lovely light and comfy beds. The bathroom facilities were clean and worked well. It is a very attractive building in a great location and can't wait to visit again. Good for friends, families and couples.

It was a perfect location, being next to the Charles Bridge. Situated in a little square with cafes and restaurants around it, was very handy if you don’t fancy walking to far. The room was very big, beds were comfy and aircon was working. Nice sizeable bathroom with a bath , which is rare theses days, but love a soak. Breakfast was very good lots of choice and open till 11am. Guy on reception was very helpful also. Would stay here again

Only grumble, if there is one, telly a little small for the size of room, we don’t normally bother, but the euros 24 were on and hubby moaning he was struggling to see.

Fab location - really good breakfasts and comfortable room

Reception staff not that helpful - my sister and I just wanted some cold milk for the tea in our rooms. The first time we asked we did get it (though we were made to feel that we were putting the receptionist to a lot of trouble) The second time we were refused point blank. In the end we took a glass of milk up to the room and put in the fridge from the breakfast service - which was fine but it would have been nice to be told that is what we should do. In complete contrast - Svetlana - who cleaned our room beautifully every day - was very polite.

Good but not great location, good breakfast and brunch included, nice and clean rooms, and very helpful staff. Overall a great experience.

The only thing I would mention is that this is a bit far from public transport, and taxis can apparently drop you off at the hotel but not pick you up there directly. As it is next to Charles bridge, you also have to walk a bit to get to decent and reasonably priced food places - the places right next door are unfortunately tourist traps.

Very Close to Charles Bridge. Nice and quiet location. Good Breakfast and they also offered a daily brunch!

Staff on reception during check in didn't know how to provide the guest with a paid invoice? Told us to get it the next day? We also asked for bar soap and she didn't know where to get it from? The room we received was not a double room with ceiling beams or an arched ceiling as pictured. We received a smaller garden room and small patio, but it worked out OK because we brought our small dog with us.
