Very posh and grande Hotel with above average sized rooms. We had a room on the 23rd floor with fabulous views south and over the Peace Park. The location is excellent, walking distance to the Castle, Museum, Atomic Dome Ruine and Peace Park. Easy ride on Tram2 or 6 from Station. Superb choice for breakfast, Japanese and International dishes, excellent coffee. Choice of 3 places for breakfast. Luore Restaurant excellent for dinner. Only disappointment was that the Spa and large indoor pool where charged separately and with a charge of 4.400 Y (ca 25£) for just 2 hours for pool, gym and spa, it was not an option. This considerable additional cost ought to be displayed properly on the Booking.com site!!!

The hotel was lovely. Very clean with fresh coffee and tea making facilities. It was very central to everywhere in the city. We had a sick son and we were able to check in early which was really appreciated. Would definitely stay there again and refer others to the hotel.

Very nice hotel close to the Peace Park, everything was great and the room had a beautiful foliage view of the Art Museum and the city. It is not a personal hotel so don’t except warm welcome but kind of a 80’s comfort with all amenities. Comfortable beds, nice pajamas. Decent pricing. We stayed 1 night without breakfast. Got there at 3pm, went for 1.5 hours to the bomb Hiroshima monument then took a ferry from there (motoyasu pier- Aqua net ferry) to Miyajima, got there at 17:30 when all the tourists leave so we had the Torii gate to ourselves with all its beauty, had great sushi (the town is dead at night but one high end sushi place) and came back to the hotel with the general ferry and then the local tram.

Location was great and easy walking distance to the Peace Park and all around. Hop on Hop off Bus can be picked up a block away. Recommend doing, if first time visitor. Executive double Room was clean and on high floor had a lovely view of Hiroshima Castle. Toiletries supplied and nothing forgotten. Impressive! Staff were lovely, polite and approachable, especially the American girl in the Cloak room who sent our luggage onto Osaka. The Buffet Breakfast was quite good and had variety. Easy walk to Dock in Peace Park to catch the 45 min boat ride to Miyajima Island. Recommend doing and worth the money. Loved also there is an onsite laundromat (coin operated). Just fabulous and so convenient for Traveller's. Vending machine near it. Wish more Hotels supplied the same. There is also a small shop on the ground floor.

Not a lot I didn't like so will just say it is a little away from Hiroshima Station and no shuttle bus, so if arriving late on the JR and don't fancy taking a bus with your luggage, grab a Taxi. The Taxis are located at the Station and are frequent and they're already lined up waiting.in the carpark. The Cost to Hotel is not that expensive as was under 15000 Yen for us.

Loved the view and the other restaurants and shops attached to the hotel. Good room size & lovely staff (except for the restaurant on 33rd floor).

The staff in the restaurant on 33rd floor were hopeless, left us for 20 mind without drinks. Then I had to get my own drink from the bar, forgot the other drink. Didn't take our order for ages and the food was tasty but very small portion.sizes and came out all randomly. Staff were just hopeless!

We booked an executive room with an amazing view. The room was spacious and comfortable and the staff was very attentive and accommodating from the moment we arrived. The Sky Restaurant in the penthouse is impressive with a stellar panoramic view of Hiroshima, picturesque. It’s in the most convenient location, a pleasant walking distance from all the main attractions and shopping areas.

Hard to complain, they go out of their way to make your experience pleasant and comfortable. Maybe the classical music at breakfast was a tad bit over the top and pretentious, whereas a piano jazz might have been dreamier and relaxed with the ambience and view. The aroma therapy in the hallways was a nice idea but the scent they used was a bit chemical and strong, something seasonal and natural or floral might have worked. Even the Laura Ashley amenities they provided might not appeal to everyone, but was thoughtful.

Big and comfortable hotel really a few steps away from memorial peace park and the castle. Personnel top notch, check in and out processes super easy. Our room was super spacious and temperature ideal. The biggest bed and bathroom we had in Japan. Hotel has several restaurants and one very panoramic restaurant/bar on the 33rd floor, worth the visit. The view from our own room was quite spectacular. Nothing to complain about cleanliness, housekeeping, or the quality of the textiles in the room.

Maybe a bit of a refreshing of the decor could help, the property is super well maintained but there are a few details a little bit “aged “.

Everything! We had a room in the 31st floor and the view was spectacular. The room size was big and the beds very comfortable. We had breakfast included in our price, which was very reasonable. The staff were very welcoming, courteous and friendly. A special shout out goes to Toda-san who helped us tremendously. She was great. The location was fantastic also, close by many sites and just across the street from the main museum. Hiroshima castle was also within close walking distance. I highly recommend Rihga Royal Hotel Hiroshima. Photos attached are of the view from the room window, day and night.

If there was anything and this is such a minor thing but in the lobby they have a sign stating that the breakfast room is very calm and slow at 06:30 hours when it opens but the morning we went to the breakfast room on the first floor, it was packed solid and there was a long wait to get some food items. Choice of food though is very good.

A perfectly located hotel for exploring Hiroshima. Our upgraded room on the 30th floor had an incredible view over the castle, it was like looking at a postcard. The room was very spacious and comfortable, with a huge window seat, large bathroom and lovely classic European-style decor. This was probably the most comfortable hotel of our stay, though not the most expensive, and felt quite grand. I enjoyed the spa and pool facilities, easily spending the whole 2hr session in there. Breakfast was tasty, with a lot of buffet options as well as freshly cooked omelette & ham.

Nothing, though it did feel slightly impersonal as it's such a huge hotel with so many guests – the long queueing system for the reception, for example. I can imagine there are a lot of conferences here. But staff were very helpful and kind. Great value for money.

We absolutely love the provided slippers—they are incredibly comfortable. The room is functional, featuring a square table for work and a separate makeup table, which is very convenient. The view overlooking the castle is simply fantastic! The mattress is decent—not too soft, offering adequate support. The hotel is easily accessible, with a bus from Hiroshima Station stopping right in front of it.

The bathroom still uses a curtain, which allows water to splash onto the floor, leaving it wet. It would be better to have an improved towel rack for drying towels overnight.
