Room was very good. Beds were very good. Breakfast was continental+ but ended at 10 a.m. (we arrived at 9:30 a.m. the next morning to the breakfast area) - we were in the area getting breakfast and we asked about the gravy that was empty and they told us it was out. so I guess it would have been trouble/wasteful to put out a little more gravy. No big deal though. The eggs and sausage were "ok", waffles really had no taste (wish we had chosen the other flavored batters) but we just used extra butter and syrup. Thankful we had food. There were several other options like bagels, toast, cereal, boiled eggs, yogurt - juices (nice) and coffee/milk - we were fine and thankful that it was kept stocked pretty well.

door key cards did not work on all doors 100% of the time.... mostly frustrated with the fact the reader on the 1st floor end of the hallway outside entrance/exit did not work most of our stay - but we were not told it was malfunctioning until after we mentioned it two nights in a row and then the morning of check out the front desk staff told us it was not working properly... so we should have just walked further to a door that it was working at least 50% of the time!!

The front desk staff were very kind and welcoming. The room was clean with the exception of some trash and leftover bits of food. The pool was great, and so was the location! Overall had an awesome time and will be returning. :)

On the second day of our stay during breakfast, I saw who I can assume was maintenance, adding in water and chlorine to the pool. I'm unsure whether the chlorine needed more time or if he added too much but when using the pool that day around 5pm the chlorine was sickengly strong and me and my friends ended up getting sick from it. There wasn't a sign up saying it wasn't safe. But we left the pool shortly afterward.

The hot shower was so nice since it was so very cold during my stay. Beds were ok but we are used to softer beds at home and the beds in the suite were harder than we were used too. Not their fault. Breakfast was good with a variety of hot and cold food and several drinks options as well. Loved the fireplace. Relaxing by it one evening was a great way to spend an hour after a long day exploring what Boone and surrounding areas have to offer. The location was great as it was close to everything we wanted to do.

Jennie that worked in the breakfast area was amazing, you just don’t see young people working that hard anymore. I made sure to tell her. I appreciated her hard work and ask her her names so I could give her a review, but I will have to say everyone was amazing. I had some of the best customer service I’ve had years.

I did think it was a little over priced. But I would stay there again, because of the great service we received

We really liked the location, it was in the middle of town where we could easily get to everything. The complimentary breakfast was also convenient and the food was pretty decent. The bed was very comfortable for my back, which I usually have trouble with, and the sheets were pretty soft. The price was pretty good for today's prices and for the length of time we stayed (6 days). There is also a diner right beside the hotel and the food is great! I would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

I will say the room smelled like smoke even though it was a non-smoking room/hotel, and the fire alarm went off at 6:30 in the morning one day (which really wasn't anyone's fault, something about a water leak).

The location was great . Rooms and property were clean , staff was great .

My wife had a fall at the back door entrance around 9 pm Saturday. The curb on the left side of the path is not painted, and she tripped. I sent an email that said we usually respond in 24 hours . Haven't heard anything yet , it's been 4 days . Very disappointed. If all you want to hear is good things , then this will probably be ignored also . Really enjoyed our stay but bad news here doesn't even get a response !

The beds were compfortable. The shower had plenty of hot water and pressure. Housekeeping friendly and accommodating.

The food at breakfast was luke warm and area was small and sometimes hard to get a clean table. A little hard to get out of the parking lot due to location. Usually, too many pillows but had to use them on the couch because it was too soft when you sat on it. Coffee at coffee stations could be hotter, usually had to warm in microwave.

I loved the motel. The lobby was beautiful the breakfast was great. But I had to check out early they said it would be fine. They would credit me and not charge me for last 2 nights but still did.

That I still got billed for last 2 nights after I ask if I leave would I still be charged for them and they told me no.I really don't understand saying one thing and doing another. I won't recommend this place because of that. Other than the billing issues it would be great. I even talked to the young lady as we left to make sure.

Great location. Shopping mall nearby in case you forget any items. Troy’s dinner is next door it’s a classic 50’s dinner. Short drive to app state campus and downtown. Plenty of parking. Rooms were spacious. Breakfast was great! Scotty went out of his way to make sure our little one got her special danish! Staff was very polite and always willing to help. Best stay we’ve had in Boone!

Nothing to complain about

This is a very clean and quite modern hotel in a convenient location. Minutes to downtown Boone, many dining locations nearby. But the hotel itself is more important: clean, very comfortable room with al the necessities included: coffee marker, microwave, fridge... The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Free water downstairs, free cookies. Wonderful american breakfast - there are things to choose from, at least. The area felt safe, plenty of parking. The hallway has very beautiful and cozy fireplace, you can sit nearby. Plus, they have swimming pool that kids enjoy in the evenings. Overall, I can not recall any negative things to mention here - all was simply great. The price was a little bit higher than usual due to the demand (Memorial day weekend), but still - the place exceeded all the expectations.

Honestly, all was great.
