The property was very helpful and accommodating, unlike booking.com, they were difficult and confusing to deal with, I would recommend booking accommodation with the hotel themselves rather than booking.com To hard to get an invoice out of booking.com.

Booking.com says contact property for invoice, the property says money transfer went through booking.com therefore you need to get your invoice from them, try to contact booking.com and still waiting on a response, to slow to respond, will never use booking.com Suppose to be a simple way of booking.com accommodation but when it comes to an invoice, it's a back and forth game between the property and booking.com It shouldn't be this way and makes it a dissatisfying experience.

We loved the location, view was amazing and room size was spacious. Staff were friendly and promptly addressed any requests we had. The restaurant meals were nice and reasonably priced. The pool was great, a hand rail would have been nice to assist older people to get in and out of the pool.

The bathroom was not always clean. Eg hair on floor the was present when we arrived and remained there after our 8 day stay. toilet not keep clean, hand basin not cleaned. We did have house keeping most days. Also lack of ventilation in bathroom, despite a vent running in the bathroom continuously. The vent appeared to have mould on it. The bathroom would benefit from an update. Having the shower over the bath is a bit challenging for older people. It would be nice to know if people have an option to have a room with a walk in shower. Also the overhead fan in the main area of the room was dusty, which I felt was a health concern to having dust flying around the room. Otherwise we had no real issues with the room.

Reception staff extremely welcoming and helpful. Excellent service Big thank you to Blaize for her assistance Nothing was too much trouble .Her professional and genuine care and attention to detail was greatly appreciated.

Staff at breakfast restaurant very abrupt and non welcoming When only wanting coffee was not informed of tea and toast option so was unable to join family group after my husbands wake upstairs the night before. My daughter purchased takeaway coffees from the breakfast staff and we had to sit in the foyer. If staff member had informed us of the tea and toast option we gladly would have taken it to join the family. Extremely bad and at the time heartbreaking service on her behalf. Very disappointing.

Everything worked out to be just what was needed for the night. Simple yet very comfortable.

On leaving I asked for a tax invoice and was told it will be emailed through but nothing. Called next day in afternoon and got woman who told me she could not do anything because it was booked through booking.com and they would have to send the invoice and she then hung up on me. Called late Sunday afternoon and the staff member said not a problem and sent the invoice straight through. I hate being lied to with attitude is just not good for business.

Room servicing was very late. 4pm one day, 6pm another. Very inconvenient times to be out of the room. Request for extra body wash was forgotten by staff servicing the rooms. During our stay the corridors were very cold, so much so we put a towel to block the draught coming in under the door. Had to request a second blanket.

Facilities, room upgrade, staff professionalism, restaurant, menu and quality and variety of food, discount offered to Rydges reward club members, pleasant staff at all levels

. Would have liked a separate shower rather than a shower over the bath. Also a kitchenette with crockery, cutlery and a microwave would have been good as well, but can't complain since I never requested these facilities . I also missed out on the $10 food and beverage voucher because I didn't read the smaller print and neglected to leave the door tag requesting this out.

View from balcony of oceanview was awesome. Close enough for a walk into town but far enough away from all the noise

Being a family of 4 with a teenager, had to share a bed with sibling. Would be nice if some rooms had a choice of queen bed & 2 single beds. Would also have been better if balcony was large enough for 2 chairs & table to sit out on & enjoy view.

The view was excellent. The rooms comfortable.

The pool wasn't as clean as I would have expected. Taxi service, due to the marathon, completely did not show up three times even when called by front desk. Room was not ready when I arrived. Laundry facilities had only 1 dryer and washer for guests so if someone left their clothes in the dryer you had to wait.

Great location, super friendly staff from check-in to restaurant/bar to check-out. Well spaced room with balcony and good view. Very comfortable firm bed, large fridge. Happy hour at the bar with good selection. Great pool area although I was unlucky with cold weather in July.

The breakfast is good, but not outstanding. Very standard juices and cheapest bread. No outdoor furniture on the balcony. What am I supposed to do there? I want to sit outside!

Nice view of the mountains from our balcony, evening meal was nice. Pool area is nice with drinks being brought to your sunbed an added bonus

Food & drinks expensive & then an extra 15% surcharge was added because of an event on in the city. No towels were left after the maid had took our dirty ones. No hair dryer in the room.
