I would not describe this hotel as 5 star. While the rooms are quiet and relatively comfortable, they are appointed with standard amenities. No coffee machine. An empty refrigerator. Two satchels of instant coffee.

The fact that many have written reviews complaining about what I have written and it is conveniently ignored

Nice clean hotel and most importantly it's just few minutes walk away to Jewel.

Checking-in was excellent, staff was friendly and helpful but checking-out was bad A rude and arrogant lady was handling the check-out yesterday, she mentioned she have to put on hold payment for my stay, I answered her upon checking-in the hotel already put on-hold S$800 for 2 rooms and I have actually made full payment for the hotel booking 3 Mar 2025. She answered repeatedly in a angry way payment is put on hold without checking or trying to help me understand. Whenever I am in Singapore I always choose Crowne Plaza Changi Airport for my stay but after this incident I might have to look for a better and friendlier hotel for my stay.

Room was nice, but for a layover of a few hours in the middle of the night, really terribly expensive.

I only managed 4 hours sleep before going back through immigration to my boarding gate. Because Booking dot com downplays the tax and service charges, it is basically too late to back out once you commence the booking (and there were no rooms left at the short stay airside hotel, so I was stuck...) I was returning home to Australia at short notice because I broke my arm in Bangkok. Bottom line, I paid $461.43 AUD (plus a large deposit I am waiting on a refund for) which works out to $115 AUD per hours sleep. I was desperate but will never make that mistake again.

The Crown Plaza Changi is the ideal place if you are transiting Singapore and arriving late or leaving early. The rooms are comfortable and despite being right next to the airport the rooms are usually very quiet. This trip was the exception because we did hear a little aircraft noise. The rooms are a good size as are the bathrooms. There's even an iron and an ironing board. Plenty to occupy you should you have time to kill as the Jewel Shopping Centre is a 10 minutes walk away - plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants - as is the Rain Vortex or Jewel Waterfall a mesmerizing spectacle, with water cascading down from the dome-shaped roof.

Two negatives: first is the price. You pay for the convenience of being right there at the airport. Second is the signage to find your way to the hotel. It could be improved, especially from Terminal 1.

I must say this was an incredible experience. I work for a luxury 6-star cruise line and was coming from my job with a lot of luggage. As I was leaving my room to check out, the General Manager Mr. Greg Gubiani (?) and his asst. Mr. Wong noticed I was struggling to get my luggage to the elevators. I was overwhelmed when they rushed to greet me, grabbed all my luggage, checked out for me and allowed me to eat a quick breakfast at the club lounge! They grabbed a luggage cart for me and gave me step by step instructions to reach my terminal for my flight. This was exceptional service! And from Senior Staff! After having over 15 years in the luxury cruise industry I have to say, many companies could take a page out of their book. Thank you to the entire team at Crowne Plaza Changi for all your service and special thanks to Mr. Greg Gubiani (it starts at the top), Mr. Wong, Mr. Suairi, Mr. Raymond and Dilpreet at check-in that assisted with baggage.

The only thing I struggled with was the bathtub with a floor to ceiling window that overlooked the entrance to the parking garage. I like a floor to ceiling window by my bathtub.. just not over an active driveway. :-)

This hotel is the peak of airport hotels. A fantastic location in Terminal 3 next door to "the Jewel" and a 2 min walk from arrivals the friendly staff greeted us with smiles and grabbed our bags straight away. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious with floor to ceiling windows and up end amenities (shampoo conditioner body wash hair dryer robes etc). The sheets were sotf and pillows fluffy. The pool was amazing with loungers and lots of greenery. The restraunt in the lobby smelt fantastic (we didn't get chance to eat here) we also got a discount offered. Concierge got us a taxi to go into the city it was easy and relaxing process. TV had ample channels. It was just fanastic the most relaxing night after an 18 hour flight from NY and before our flight back to Australia.

Perfect for a stop over - walk straight from arrivals into the hotel. There are plenty of places to eat in the airport and the hotel has a good Italian restaurant and room service. The room is very nicely designed and feels spacious with a desk, comfortable bed, seating area and very well appointed bathroom. The swimming pool area is relaxing and the changing rooms have a hairdryer. On check in I was offered a deal to keep the room until my flight the next day which made for a relaxing stay. The MRT is next to the hotel so it is very easy to also get ‘out and about’.

The receptionist was very friendly and efficient but didn’t mention that I had 2 different IHG member numbers - so she applied neither… This meant I didn’t get the membership discount for room service. On check out I mentioned this and a nice touch would have been to apply the discount retrospectively but she didn’t… It’s one of those things that are irksome… My room looked onto the carpark exit and, as is typical of hotels, had sealed windows. To recover a bit from Jet lag I really needed to get out and see some greenery - but the pool area is perfect for that.

This is a lovely hotel in a very convenient location for a layover in Singapore. We were able to nip to the Jewel as it is land side, but still stroll to our terminal the next morning. We had no time to use food outlets but the bar was very nice and the staff we encountered were very pleasant and also informative about check in times, etc. We had a person with mobility issues with us and we were told to hang on to the airport wheelchair to use the next day which was very very helpful. The rooms had all toiletries and even toothbrushes so you have everything you need if you don’t have or don’t want to open your suitcases.

Nothing at all, it’s a shame we weren’t staying longer. I would have liked to take a bath in the lovely tub!

Every detail was perfect. Bed was so comfortable (hard), pillows great. Spotlessly clean. Staff are amazing. Allora Restaurant is great & fair prices. Colin managed to extend my booking another day after my flight arrived 20hrs late. Yes I had to pay but I got a great 12 hour sleep after a long haul flight from Europe. The corridors are cool since they are outside. The shower is great & is waterfall style. Swimming pool is not heated which is great in the warm air. Obviously all the palm trees in the pool are cool. Free towels by the pool. I just checked into a different hotel and it’s a million miles off the quality of this place.

Easy accessible from airport terminals which was great as we arrived in the very early hours of the morning and left late that night. The direct access to the Jewel meant we could make the most of our 22hr stop over while still having some down time before our next overnight flight. Breakfast selection was excellent Check in very low stress

Booked for 3 adults and extra bed had been added to room. Position of extra bed meant adult manoeuvring with luggage between top end of bed and desk to access luggage bench resulting in a significant painful knock to the knee(enough for tears) from the wheels that were folded back up to bed head. We resolved the problem by shifting bed to be against the desk so that access to luggage bench was from bottom of bed and did not require being mindful of wheels when accessing luggage.
