As a woman solo traveler, it was one of the best customer service experice I had! I normally appreciate modern design, but this hotel was a great surprise for my eyes, with a classical design with carpets and ornaments. Besides, the staff is very receptive and helpful, and assured a very fast check-in with clear instructions. The hotel's wi-fi works excellently. The room and toilet are very clean, and quiet. The breakfast is excellent for those who do not have dietary restrictions. A potential drawback for those requiring more space is the size of the room I was assigned, which was rather compact. However, it was enough for circulation and to accommodate a carry-on suitcase. Additionally, the window faced the back, thus, there was no view to speak of. But if this doesn't bother you, you'll have a very pleasant stay.

The area surrounding the accommodation might not be the most comfortable for a solo woman traveler. It's located near a red-light district, with many men staying outside. However, I felt that it's generally safe to walk around during the daytime. As with any urban environment, it's important to remain vigilant and aware of your surroundings.

The staff was really nice and helpful. They explained it very well and even gave tips on how to explore Luxembourg. The rooms were nicely decorated with a good shower and bed. The windows can also open fully. The breakfast was pretty good. The location is amazing, close to a tram station, bus station and train station. Also easy to access by car (with a bit of wiggling in a few narrow streets). Lots of good restaurants nearby and a very welcoming atmosphere when you enter. We opted to park in their private parking garage. With a fair price it was really doable. The hotel also offered potential alternatives, including free parking further away from the city (this would mean you'd have to take the bus to get to your car) which is good!

I only have 2 small problems. The lack of a fridge means you are usually drinking room temperature drinks. Even if its just a small fridge for about 6 drinks/whatever you wanna put in it, it would help! My second problem is the lack of AC. The staff helped us get a second fan, which did help a bit. But AC would've been very helpful.

Great location - close to the train station and tram. Relatively quiet location with some handy shops and restaurants close by. Lovely antique and retro decor throughout the hotel. Sizeable room and we had a lovely balcony that overlooked the street. Staff were excellent - you felt known by the owner/manager who was happy to chat and was staffing the hotel around the clock!

There was no air con, but a powerful fan was supplied with did a good job of cooling down the room when it was warm!

The room and bathroom were very clean. Housekeeping made the room tidy again with clean towels. Kettle also clean for tea and coffee. Two bottles of water in the room. There was a full outline of things to do, important telephone numbers etc. It was a first floor room facing the inner court of the building as requested. Nothing fancy because you can only see some outdoor chairs from the room but the point is that it gives a quiet stay opposed to maybe a room facing the street. Indeed it can become warm in the room so you would need ac when above 22 degrees. It was a good fan so that helped and I left the window open. In the morning you can hear the sound of planes but it was not disturbing for me. Closing the window isolated the sound. Had friendly interactions. Close to central station. Few minutes from the bus and tram. Two supermarkets right across. An Indian restaurant, Italian and falafel. Street felt safe and okay me. I never stayed out very late.

I missed coffee milk cups. I felt the desk and chair was a bit squeezed into the corner. There was little room for the chair. Maybe move the bed a little to the side. For one person the storage is fine. If you're two and have lots of luggage then you might struggle with the space.

The staff here are the best. Helpful, funny, informative. There is a comfortable lounge where we took our own drinks and crisps from the supermarket opposite, one rainy night. 5 minute walk to the train and bus stations was a bonus for getting all the free transport.

We had a 4th floor room. The lift stops at the 3rd floor. The room was built into the roof and had a low, angled ceiling. The shower in the bath had no curtain and no hook to hold it up. It had to be hand held and caused a wet and dangerous bathroom floor. Our taxi driver warned us to be inside after 10pm in July as area is dodgy. We experienced no problems though.

Comfortable hotel with recently renovated rooms in convenient locations for exploring the city. Staff was friendly, and breakfast had a solid continental spread. Done of the reviews I read suggested that the neighborhood felt unsafe at night, but I did not notice any safety issues. Maybe by Luxembourg standards the area around the train station is less picturesque than other neighborhoods, but this neighborhood had plenty of people out and about in the evening, bustling outdoor restaurants, and felt safer and cleaner than most major cities at night (London, Paris, New York, San Francisco, etc).

Be aware there’s no air conditioning. Not a problem for me, and I just opened a window.

The hotel is in a great location, close to the main train station. It's very easy to get onto the public transport. The hotel is tastefully decorated in a classic style. The older gentleman at the reception was extremely friendly, and helped us with all our questions and requirements. There are several cafes and restaurants in the vicinity. The wifi worked very well.

The bathroom was a little cramped, so I knocked my elbow against the walls a couple of times. However, this is only a very mild criticism, and it did not affect our stay in any way. It's just something to keep in mind if you are a tall or large person.

The hotel is located near the railway station, so it’s very easy to get there, if you are coming by train. You can also go to the airport by tram, which goes near the hotel. All the main attractions are reachable by public transportation, which is free of charge. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was clean. We had a small balcony facing the street. The windows were almost soundproof, so nothing could disturb our sleep. Breakfast was served in a nice breakfast room, and the staff took very good care of the guests.

There were no place to hang our clothes, only a big wooden closet with shelves. The closet smelled “old”, so we decided to keep our clothes in our luggage. Some lights didn’t work, so the room was a bit dark. If you have any dietary restrictions, e.g. allergies or lactose intolerance, then the variety of food is challenging. There aren’t any lactose free or gluten free options, and I you can’t drink orange juice, the only option is water.

The hotel is in an excellent location, 15 minutes walking from the city center and right next to the central station. It is easily reachable by car and it has private parking right across the street, so we had no problem with where to leave our car. The hotel is chic and the reception staff is friendly and helpful. The room was also also chic, very clean and with toiletries, towels, TV, tee maker and a wardrobe. The room itself is not super big, but the space was more than enough for two people. The beds were comfortable and the sheets very clean as well.

There is no fridge in the room, which would have been nice to have. There is a kettle for tee and coffee but it would have also been nice to have an actual coffee machine so we are able to have coffee in the room. Also, we got a room facing the street and unfortunately the window was not isolating very well because there were people having drinks in the street until very late in the night and it was difficult to sleep with the noise. Also we were unlucky to find construction on the street when we arrived so that also made it very noisy, even with the window closed.

Hotel with a lot of charm. Plenty of restaurants within 200m from the hotel, city centre in walking distance, but there is also a very good connection with public transport to wherever you want to go (central railstation is just around the corner with plenty of busses and street car). Hotel staff is helpful and friendly. We felt very welcome and will return for sure.

Private safe parking is available, just opposite of the hotel, but you need to get the key from the reception everytime you want access to your car. Not a problem, if you know in advance.
