I like the room given to me right to the top 2810 ... very nice view ... room was nice clean neat and tidy ... I went to the pool side ... nice pool can do laps ... overall I have always stayed at The Pines ... its a nice approachable hotel, one can also take a slow stroll to Jonker by the river which is located at the back of the hotel ... very convenient to catch Grab anywhere I want to go ... The Pines is a good recommendation from me to anyone who visits Melaka. Blessings to one and all and to the staff, reception and dining.

To state what I didn't like or what could have been better for improvements would be an understatement ... it would be considered as a complaint ! and I am no complainer ! I like staying at The Pines and I will always be at The Pines.

The view from the room. Proximity to tourist attraction, about 15mins walk. Pines Jetty is just behind the hotel where you can take the water taxi to/ from Jonker at a fee. Room size is wonderfully spacious. Bed was comfy. Availability of EV chargers were a plus point.

Room is not soundproof. Eventhough on 18th floor, we could still hear traffic noises. Room light switches has chocolate stains when we checked in. Housekeeping must have missed it. Size of the bathroom is a little small, the size of the shower area is reasonably sized, however the dry area in the toilet is very cramp. The toilet door cannot open fully.

Cleanliness, accessibility, convenient, free parking, clean parking floors. The best part, the room has a small pantry and kitchen table n chairs. Big thumbs up! So easy to drive to Ley Park station at ayer keroh. Direct driving route to the hotel from kampung Jawa. You can rent a bicycle to ride along the melaka river and it’s near the Melaka river cruise jetty. You can cross a small bridge to the Kampung Morten, where there are many food stalls and walk around the village to look at the Malay kampung houses. There is a small restaurant opposite the hotel lobby selling delicious kuay teow goreng. They are open for breakfasts and open on Saturdays n Sundays too.

I was not given a room with the view of kampung morten. But it is a small matter.

I had the executive twin room with balcony, located at the 26th floor. The view is absolutely fantastic. Certainly worth the price that you paid for. Beautiful view of the beach, city, river, and other Malacca attractions. The room might appear small initially, but once you open the curtains and sliding door to the balcony, it becomes huge. The bathroom is also about the size of the room with bathtubs and showers available. Parking is nice, just take a ticket from the gate machine when you come in, and present it during check out to be reimbursed. You can use your hotel room card as parking pass when you exit throughout your stay. Twin beds are very comfortable. Creates a nice separation with your partner. Receptionists and other staffs were very friendly to us. Always replying our answer with patience and a smile, and always willing to assist or help when we needed it. Riverside walkway is available at the back of the hotel. Do note that the gate closes at 11pm, so if you return much later than that from you enjoying the nightlife, do enter the hotel through the main road.

Breakfast was a bit disappointing as they don't have buffet, just ala carte. Room service was once per day. I am disappointed with the cleaning as they barely cleaned the balcony. Lizard poop was still around on the seat when I came back to my room during the evening. Dust mites from bedside table also appeared. I assume the cleaners just briefly touch it without properly cleaning it. The Pines Jeti isn't functioning as a boat stop or pick up point. Boats won't stop even though you are wearing the day pass wrist band. I don't know why this is so.

We booked the suite and the room was large, very roomy with a day bed. Not much of a view from the odd numbered room side of the building however. Parking was easy and plentiful. The hotel is right next to the Melaka river which is a nice walk in the evening. There is a bridge that leads across the river to Kampung Morten where you have options for dinner at night.

Our family was split across multiple floors. The rooms on level 14 had very weak water pressure. No problems with water pressure on levels 9 or 16.

The hotel is opposite Kampung Morten. You can see Melaka River view from your room. There are a lot of Restaurants at Kampung Morten. Nearby Chan Mari Chan Restaurant too. It is walking distance from hotel. Jonker Walk is walking distance too. However, if you want to go to Parameswara Ikan Bakar, it will be a bit far away from the hotel. The road is a bit complicated from the hotel. The hotel facilities is good and well maintained. The staffs are very friendly. The hotel breakfast serves simple food. If you want Malay breakfast you can have your breakfast at Kampung Morten. There is a mini mart in the building next door (AIA building).

Cozy room , nice view ..convenient , clean and comfortable

The breakfast buffet must improve . I went for breakfast at 9.30 am and a lot of items almost finished. Not refill immediately. The croissant was very nice but some visitors just pack and take away . I have to wait until last minute before the buffet end . My omelet taken away by your staff while we went to take coffee .We just put in on the table . The salad not fresh .

The room was really spacious and clean. It also had a really nice view of the river, which you could see boats and the colorful lights at night. Staffs were great, checking in and checking out took only around 5 minutes which was really quick! I'm most surprised by how fast the lifts were, even when the building had almost 30 floors!

The room felt a little too large and empty, but overall it was great, clean and well maintained.

Th building located at sentral of the Melaka City. Very superb view. It was easily to access go anywhere especially river cruise boat.Took only 550m walking to reach there. swimming pool also friendly kids. Maybe it’s was first time my last son have a fully fun swimming. Thanks a lot Pines Melaka. Sure will repeat again

Maybe can improve breakfast. But doesn’t matter as long our family happy is enough for me

Love the spacious room.Comfy beds n the good breakfast.Our room has access to the pool.So easy to swim with privacy.The lifts are fast n modern.Love the city view frm our room n the sound of pool water.So relaxing.

I didnt get the connecting pool rooms as requested.They gave me room side by side.So not so easy to connect.Usually I will get connecting pool room but not this time.Sad me. We found a cockroach climbing on the wall n hit it.So disgusting .I had to run out coz I am afraid of coackroach.Spoils my mood.
