Super friendly staff, both reception and housekeeping. The kitchen and dining area was kept very clean and was well stocked with utensils, labels, fridges, freezers, numerous hobs and sinks. Towels included was a nice touch. Loved the hammocks and terrace areas. Breakfast was good. Great location near a well served bus stop, relatively quiet traffic wise, and a convenience store. Each bed had a curtain, plug, shelf, and a big locker and was super comfy. Overall I had a great stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hostel!

Honestly it was all great. The only small thing was that the dorm door was frosted glass, so as soon as it was daylight the room was light too and the bed curtains weren't blackout.

- The location is fantastic. Walking distance to the harbor. - The staff are very polite, welcoming and attentive. - It wasn't too hard to find a parking spot nearby. - Breakfast was very descent. Given the price per night, I would say the variety was satisfactory. The breakfast area is wonderful. Spacious with a view to the sea. - The room I was staying in (6-bed female dormitory) was spacious enough. It had two showers, one toilet located with the one shower and one washing basing inside the room. So potential three people can use the facilities simultaneously. - The room and the facilities in general are very clean. - Everyone respected the quiet hours (22:00-08:00) so you could get a good night's sleep. - They have a 24-hour reception, so there is great flexibility for check-in time.

- The first towel they gave me has some dark spots on it. When I told them, they immediately gave me a new one which was fine. - There are a lot of roosters in the area so in the morning it can get a bit noisy :)

Great spot, easy to meet people and the breakfast is not a big thing but is ok.

I gave it 8 stars cause there are several problems with the internet connection:/. But everything else was great.

This is one of the nicest hostels I have ever stayed at. I love the veranda style setup of the rooms. You come out of your doors to be greeted by a beautiful stone walled balcony with lime trees underneath, a swimming pool to the left, and a bar. The kitchen facilities were really great as they had A LOT of cooking utensils to use which is great for the traveller who likes to save money by not eating out every day. There is a good functioning system in the kitchen to make sure that people do not eat others food and that the kitchen remains clean. Also, it is nice that there is so much communal food available to cook with. As a solo woman travelling, I felt incredibly safe at this hostel as the staff were always on-site and available to help with my needs and queries. Although there were some forward (and annoying) men who will try to hit on you at every moment they can, this is just part and parcel of travelling as a woman and it’s best to just ignore them and/or report them to staff if their advances make you uncomfortable. The dorms are very clean, the communal areas were very clean. Nice lounging areas in the sun, shade, and indoors depending on what you’re feeling.

It would be nice if they did events nights/activities like how other hostels do (bar crawls, game nights etc…).

It was great (32nights) holiday! Very professional but also nice people work there👌 Breakfast is exceptional, always fresh and you can eat as much as you want. There is plenty to choose from! During my stay there were new kitchen appliances added to already well equipped ped kitchen. Things like blender, rice cooker ect. The organization or food storage is great. You can cook and bake if you wish. The beds are solid and stable with curtains that give you privacy. To my surprise they change bed linens and towels quite often 💥 There is plenty of common space to socialize but also cozy spots for some solitude if you need it ☮😎 In case of issue hostel employees will provide solutions. Close to bus stops, stores, cafes and restaurants.

The "band" of roosters in the neigherhood they tend to wake you up early in the morning 😱😅😂🤣😂😂 Personally I started to use ear-plugs - it solved the problem. There is really nothing I could put here and my stay was trully great 👌👌

I really loved this place. The old building gives a cozy and homely atmosphere, and is so different from a typical hostel. The staff were great, always friendly and helpful. Any concerns or feedback I brought up were received well, validated, and looked into. They are clearly working all the time to improve the facilities and experiences. It was great that breakfast was included, it was nothing overly special but had a decent quality and range of choices. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and also organized well, with lots of space, boxes, pantry closet... Good common area and many nice spots in the outside areas. My personal experience in the room was great, as the (comfortable) bed had privacy curtains, a shelf, a socket, a light, a few hooks, and a big drawer for my luggage underneath it. Also darkish curtains on the outside windows. Great location and well connected with public transport, shop close by. The combination of all of this made this one of my best hostel stays to date.

Not the hostel's fault but I guess overall it was just very humid and it would take days for clothes to dry, even dry clothes would feel clammy in the morning. Also quite early in the morning the roosters start screaming, so mind that if you are sensitive to it. There were two showers in the room for 12 people, with one including the toilet, and unfortunately people were not being very thoughtful about this. The one shower was very small and had the vent above it that was cold, so can't really blame them, but common toilets are far away and especially in the morning it can be problematic. The way airconditioning needed to be handled was also an issue.

I stayed there for 12 nights as a long stay. Really enjoyed staying in such a lovely friendly place. First of all, all the staff were so kind and always welcoming. Our rooms were cleaned every single day in the morning. The hostel is very convenient to go somewhere by foot or by bus and the bus station is nearby, you can even go to the airport directly. The breakfast is nice. The kitchen and the common area are clean as well as quiet. There is a lovely pool area and garden with a hammock. Was wonderful to chill out there. Overall was a good stay!

The hostel had a water problem when the outside was rainy. And also an electricity problem (2 days back to back happened) The room is cold, when you want to turn the AC on, you have to ask the receptionist to get the remote control. That was challenging for me every time to take it and turn back to it. In the shower there is limited hot water, it can turn to cold water after a while so need to take a quick shower. The mirror in the room is dark in colour, so difficult to see yourself clearly, while you are getting dressed and makeup. That's only my concern otherwise good place to stay!

Hostel is 3 min from the beach, which is fantastic! Breakfast was fine. Room was veey clean and air conditioner worked at all times. Beds have privacy curtains. 2 sinks are located in the room directly (not the shower), which is very convenient. Cool and helpful personnel at the reception.

The hostel is 20 min walk from the ferry stop, so if you want to go to Valetta you need a bus/go on foot. Showers (2 in the room) are small and have no shelves to put your staff. Only 1 toilet, which is combined with the shower. Very uncomfortable ladder to climb to the upper bed.

I really liked how clean everything was, especially the way they keep the pool in great shape. The staff pays attention to every little detail, and the pool bar really gives the hostel a nice boost — so well done on that! But please review the breakfast… where are my omelettes? 😋

During my stay, they were doing floor renovations, so there was a lot of noise and it was hard to get to my room. I even had a little accident because the path wasn’t cleared. And honestly, the night guy at reception… not great. He just follows the rules without thinking, stirs things up with guests, and doesn’t really pay attention !! which leaves a bad impression for people staying there. Please give him some training on how to speak to and treat guests, even if they make mistakes or get things wrong.

The location is excellent, the staff were happy and very helpful, all the amenities were spot on, and everywhere was very clean. The rooms were spacious and aircon in all the bedrooms. The breakfast was OK but could be improved on.

The repetative breakfast was a little disheartening. Two types of cheese slices, the same cereal each day, boiled eggs, and slices of packet ham or pork. There was slices of bread to have which you could toast. An option of different choices on different days would have been nice.The photo of the fruit for breakfast was a missrepresentation of that which was offered.
