The staff is amazing incredibly nice and helpful. They have everything you would need including everything equipped in the kitchen. Really beautiful and safe area where is located.

Top bunk beds have partial privacy as there is no blocking between you and the bunk bead in front (shared curtain). There is some people that are there for the long stay and they act like they own the place disregarding the other guests. A crazy lady arrived completely drunk 2 am throwing up in a bucket next to her bed. Would recommend just for heavy sleepers. Have to take into consideration is 9 minutes walking from the bus station but is completely uphill a little misleading when you have the big luggage and arrive in the late night/ early morning.

Despite some of the guests being "Cartoon Network characters", my stay was overall pleasant. EVERYONE from the staff was impeccable and welcoming to all of us guests alike.

Comfy matrace, big locker, cozy space to eat & rest. Peace & quiet despite high season.

The place was not that clean. Wouldnt say what exactly happend but pls check and clean behind the beds time to time. Those spaces are having their own universeses 🤣

I had a fantastic experience at Hostel Malti. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a great sense of conviviality and community. Special thanks to Neil Harrison, who went above and beyond to ensure everyone felt comfortable and cared for. His kindness and attentiveness truly stood out, though all the staff were equally friendly and accommodating. The environment made it easy to connect with other guests, and the overall vibe was both relaxing and lively. Highly recommended for solo travelers or anyone looking for a great experience in Malta!

The location and the atmosphere of the place, really comfty, cocooning

Lack of cleaning : the bathrooms were clean but the water of the jacuzzi was green. I was disappointed by the rooftop because it was filthy: the sunbeds were dusty, there were stains on the couches, some chairs were broken and the drying rack was half broken.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at the hostel with my husband. The value for the service provided is fair, the location is great, and the staff is excellent.

We stayed in a suite room, which was lovely, but one downside is that noise from other rooms can be quite noticeable in the evenings when people are coming and going. Additionally, part of the room door being made of glass lets in light from the corridor, which might be bothersome for light sleepers. If you're someone who wakes up easily with noise and light, this could be a problem. However, if you can overlook these issues, I would recommend this hostel for its overall stay.

One of the cleanest hostels we’ve ever stayed in! We had a private room that was immaculate and cleaned every day. Comfortable and air conditioned, we slept very well here! Very quiet and relaxed hostel, not the place to go if you are looking for a wild social time. Bus stop right out front, and a 10 min walk into the main part of St Julians - very accessible to public transport and the airport.

We thought from the listing that there would be group activities and excursions organised by the hostel, but they only seemed to promote external companies. Would have been nice to have a beach day / boat trip with other guests. Staff were rarely at the hostel. Our key was left on an envelope on the desk for us which didn’t seem super secure because anyone could have taken it - would be more secure to use a coded lock box.

Extremely friendly, helpful and diligent staff, easily the biggest asset of the business. The jacuzzi was a very pleasant surprise.

I think I had issues with bed bugs. I had issues when making my reservation, long story short there was a confusion and I booked 2 beds, when I called them over the phone to try to solve the issue the staff was very dismissive and reluctant to solve the situation (as far as I understand, is not the same staff working at the hostel). So yeah, in the end, I paid twice for my stay.
